This country is now at the whim of a couple of unstable billionaires. Where are three ghosts when you need them?

You see the world through your soul, and it is obvious many people don't have much of one these days and I am thinking of Trump, Musk and other billionaires.

This is so Trumpian, even if he didn't write it because he is too demented. Everyone around him knows it which enables them to write exactly what he would.

Just in case you want to read the whole transcript of Donald's inspiring Christmas message:

I wish there was a puke button so I could hit it for the above 2 entries. He will never be my president nor will I acknowledge him as such. When we travel abroad we are always hearing negative comments so it is not just us on this forum that feel that way. He is not respected nor held in regard by foreigners as well.

His election clearly shows that we are not a great, or even good, country.

I was so saddened to hear Divine's message. I'm glad she's doing as well as she can.

Divine, we miss you in our corner of BCO and hope things take a positive turn for you. Your wit and levity are a delight. Many hugs to you and your family.

Ruth and Betrayal, I so agree with all the sentiments. I did hesitate to put the whole thing in as I really did think Trump could never get through all that writing and spelling — you know. I also find the whole thing depressing and revolting and in fact much of it completely stupid.

Trump in his demented state seems to have even less filters than before. I think it was said in one place I read that he is taking the focus off his promise of cheap groceries, quick. I don't know if there is enough left upstairs for him to be able to practice the art of diversions. Truly he likely is getting a lot of help because he is not out much at all.

I have heard that many in the GOP are fairly concerned, especially in the area of the sorts of issues and problems that might be made for them. I do know one thing — with all barely, but mainly un-qualified people Trump is trying to install plus his turning loose the J-6 er's with pardons etc. as well as his VENGEANCE program which I'm sure means much to him, those in GOP should be VERY concerned. In two years, many will need re-elected, and I think chaos is going to be coming on a gigantic grand scale. It doesn't sound like it is going to be very nice in Washington at all.

I detest Trump and always have. There is not one redeeming quality in the man and I'm not sure there are much if any in the rest of his family. And Ruth, it is hard to look at how far we have fallen in the U.S. It is hard to think of facing anyone while we have a total con, completely inept and woefully ignorant person with dementia supposedly as our model of democracy. How could we have fallen so far. We so need to figure out how to inspire people to live their democracy through knowledge. Had they even come close we likely wouldn't need to be having this kind of conversation.

It is the only time at my present age that I'd like to see the time go fast. I also can only hope that the chaos is so bad that a whole lot less gets done and that finally some people can wake up enough go ditch the deadwood next time and get a government that can work for all and find some darn way to stop people like Trump from ever even being able to attempt becoming president.

Like his orange mentor he is lacking a conscience and so one is wise to never expect anything good for this one.

Would be nice to have some background on this one. Who made the statement, when, under what circumstances, etc.
