The gift absolutely no one in their right mind wants but probably the best head of hair he has had in 50 years, lol. Plus it's orange like him!

Good morning and happy holidays to all of you.
Sadly, breast cancer doesn’t take holidays. I received a pm from divine/Camille very early this morning and she asked that I share her situation with you. From Camille:”It has been several months of downhill health issues. for me. The radiation I had to my brain caused my legs to stop working. I have been bedridden in skilled care for a couple of months. I’m sending you a text because you and I have been together on this forum for the longest time more than any of the of other forum members.
I have had a great life in the long run. I guess I cannot express it any better than my husband and my son know I love them immensely and so does all of my family. they have all been to see me and we have done a lot of reminiscing. I know that you and I have spent many months and years guiding and going through so many issues together. Thank you for your endearing friendship. take care of yourself and know that you mean a great deal to me. May you be blessed by the universe for all you have done for others. Peace be with you. I cannot say how much longer I have. Take care always.my DH is not having an easy time of it. There are a number of choices I have to make none of which are easy. If you will keep members posted, I would appreciate it. I send much love and caring out to them as well. Sending lots of love.”
Please keep our dear divine in your thoughts.

"There are many things from which I might have derived good, by which I have not profited, I dare say," returned the nephew: "Christmas among the rest. But I am sure I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round--apart from the veneration due to its sacred name and origin, if anything belonging to it can be apart from that--as a good time: a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time: the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they were really fellow- passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. And therefore, uncle, though it has never put a scrap of gold or silver in my pocket, I believe it has done me good, and will do me good; and I say, God bless it!"Charles Dickens, from A Christmas Carol
Merry Christmas to all. It has been my joy to share quotes with you and this coming year will just be a whole lot more of that same joy. May you all feel just as much. Wishing you all the love and care and support from the ages. May your life be blessed.

Exbrnxgrl, many many thanks for sharing Camille's message to us. She has been such a valuable member here and wherever she has posted I'm sure it was just the same. I did feel that this beautiful soul had troubles going on but I did not want to say much or share any real fears here. If she was indeed having the issues I so feared (if you are Stage IV at some point) it was up to her how and when to share if desired.
I recall a smiling happy picture of herself she shared one day quite some time back and I carry that with me. That is who Camille is to me and as so many of my Stage IV friends have been. Accepting life on whatever terms that came. She and her family will be in my Christmas prayers and all of my prayers. Again, thank you Exbrnxgrl for sharing. I am sad about this while seeing a happy smiling Camille and knowing she is brave today just like she was in that picture of long ago.

Divine, know that you have made a lasting impact on all those you have met through BCO. You have shared your journey with many easing theirs, I am sure, with your thoughtfulness and guidance by example and kind words. It has been a privilege to know you through this forum and to have shared our collective concern for the future of this great country.
I wish love and peace to you and your family. I will remember you as a smiling person who always was willing to spread cheer no matter the circumstances or with whatever life has thrown at you. Your presence has been missed and will continue to be so. God bless you.
