Doing just what he's always done. Take it from someone who needs it to give to himself. Spells SOB.

Like so many of the Reps. Not all there and will never again locate what's missing. Just another goner.

Deep inside, our integrity sings to us whether we are listening or not. It is a note that only we can hear. Eventually, when life makes us ready to listen, it will help us to find our way home.

We should take it for granted that no life can be entirely free from vexations, trials, troubles, sorrows, and disappointments; but we should resolve that these things shall not be allowed to disturb our peace of mind, or to destroy our happiness. It is as amazing as it is sad, that we go about largely burdening ourselves with strivings that are of no consequence and miss the gladness and exhilaration of living. No life is successful until it is radiant with happiness.

Read somewhere that he got confused at the swearing in and wandered off — so guess he had to be 'returned' for the celebratory smooch.

I read the above about FG from one of the newsletters I get. I do think the media is still heavy into avoidance of telling the REAL truth of Trump's "condition". I also felt this likely was the case since the FG and Musk with child meet-up and brag session in the Oval office. Time was FG would have not stood for anyone upstaging him and garnering pretty much every bit of the limelight. He just in the Oval with a somewhat droll expression, seemingly un-concerned and has not done or said anything since to 'correct' who was definitely in charge that day. Not that it was in any way good. Bragging about the kinds of harm Musk does is not a winning play what-so-ever.
I also heard that people (mainly the ones being hurt which in almost all cases is lots of Reps.) are not at all happy. If this keeps going this way and so many people coming into the government in depts. they can't run and don't care to anyway, I would at some point expect some sort of rebellion == heavily laced with Reps.

Left it large so the 'indifference' being shown is 'audible' almost.

npoStdeorsftgahffmmt09h399290cga0t5lic0ghl88409740635u8fi210 · BREAKING: Donald Trump's takeover of the Kennedy Center implodes in humiliating fashion as droves of talented celebrities abandon the legendary performing arts center in protest.Trump is radioactive with the people he wants to impress most...Actress Issa Rae announced on Instagram in a brief statement that she is cancelling her "An Evening With Issa Rae" event slated for next month. Tickets will be refunded."Unfortunately, due to what I believe to be an infringement on the values of an institution that has faithfully celebrated artists of all backgrounds through all mediums, I’ve decided to cancel my appearance at this venue," she wrote.Trump made himself chairman of the center on Wednesday. Earlier this week he removed Biden appointees from the board and rammed in unqualified cronies including Second Lady Usha Vance and White House Chief of staff Susie Wiles.Mega-successful television producer and writer Shonda Rhimes — the woman behind hit shows like Grey's Anatomy, Bridgerton, and Scandal among others — resigned as treasurer of the center's board yesterday. She posted a quote from JFK on her Instagram: "If art is to nourish the roots of our culture, society must set the artist free to follow his vision wherever it takes him."Legendary soprano Renée Fleming resigned as artistic advisor to the center and while she avoided naming Trump, she praised David M. Rubenstein — the center's former chairman who was ousted.Singer and songwriter Ben Folds stepped down from his role as advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra, which the Kennedy Center oversees."Given developments at the Kennedy Center, effective today I am resigning as artistic adviser to the N.S.O. Mostly, and above all, I will miss the musicians of our nation’s symphony orchestra — just the best!" Folds wrote on Instagram.Adam Weiner of the band Low Cut Connie has also canceled an appearance at the center next month."Upon learning that this institution that has run nonpartisan for 54 years is now chaired by President Trump himself and his regime, I decided I will not perform there," he wrote on social media, adding that friends and fans were going to be "directly negatively affected by this administration’s policies and messaging."This is the kind of rejection that infuriates Donald Trump more than anything. He has long wanted to be accepted by America's cultural elites. Instead, they see him for the cruel, fascist, incompetent failure he truly is.

So glad you put that in Ruth — about the Kennedy Center. I was horrified at what FG did and wondered when and what repercussions might come of it. Now I know. I frankly hope more decide to bow out. This will definitely be a huge blow to FG. He still has no idea why he can't seem to get accepted into the 'best' society. He has no idea as to why he NEVER truly fits in.
Never understanding what he himself is and the fact that it is generally that type of person he actually does attract. He is living proof that all the money and fame there are will not give you the soul you are missing and the qualities that make up the better society people. And obviously you cannot take a grand Arts center and suddenly you are "in", when you have spent your whole life out as it is === and for someone like him, that is definitely how it should be.

I am still only catching mainly snippets of what FG and company are up to and none of it is any good. I do hope that people, and I'm mainly thinking of those who voted with the hope that prices would come down and that their life and livelihood would not be adversely affected will soon tire of the abuse they have seen so far and that which will continue to come. Talked about being played.
All of us are so used to the lies and total lack of any responsibility or remorse of FG that we automatically knew he had no ability what-so-ever to do what he promised. We also were never fooled about either of his terms. That of 2016 when he had 8 strong years of fantastic work by Pres. Obama — no wonder he looked good to Reps. for so long — and then to inherit all the loving labor Pres. Biden put in to setting the country right again.
Very good that he is on his own and that his Rep branches are left to shoulder all burdens. When asked about the prices of things going up rather than down as he
'promised' he blamed it on the Biden inflation. Really, our prices (save for eggs) were not bad, even though people were told and got convinced by FG that they were. But, of course, it is now on him. Some of his staunchest might buy that the problem is Biden, but Biden is a 'citizen' now.0 -
What riches are ours in the world of nature, from the majesty of the distant peak to the fragile beauty of a tiny flower, and all without cost to us, the beholders! No person is poor who has watched a sunrise or who keeps a mountain in his or her heart.

This is a very worrisome thing. Concerned Collins and others just couldn't bring themselves in the end to do the right thing and rubber stamped the FG abomination — just as they have chosen to do to all of FG's guy's chosen boot lickers. Hope it all blows up in their faces.
