No one person should have that much power and that goes double for the two total idiots who are in charge at the moment.

Some people seem to have a weird outlook on learning — you have had about 9 &1/2 years now. You are definitely in the slow learner category.

Need 3 or 4 Reps. to find their cajónes and make a switch — you know you'll be saving yourself and your friends and families too.

Warren Buffett claimed he could end the deficit in 5 minute . He told CNBC: “You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election." In that vein, THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!!The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it .That was in 1971...before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc.

Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.*Congressional Reform Act of 2019*1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 7/1/19.

The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term's), then go home and back to work.THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!! If you agree with the above, like and share!Every American should see this message.

A greater poverty than that caused by lack of money is the poverty of unawareness.  Men and women go about the world unaware of the beauty, the goodness, and the glories in it. Their souls are poor. It is better to have a poor pocketbook than to suffer from a poor soul.

Wow !! Such truth, Ruth. One of the worst things about seeing FG re-installed in the WH is his need to reward Musk by allowing him to be in charge. How it must rankle him. He adores the spotlight, and he is not getting all that much. I wonder if it will get to him or the continuing senility will perhaps allow his being able to overlook something that has been vital for a long time.

Then again, I think it rankles both of them that there is a lot of thwarting going on as most of the EO's have been halted somewhat by judges. Musk is of the same opinion, that if your doing good for the country you should not have to follow the rules and law like everyone else is expected to. Boy — talk about money and privilege.

Have to remember that a lot of Reps. were in charge of some of the ballots and making decisions on whether signatures on envelopes and ballots match which is a subjective decision in many cases. So, it could have been closer than this.

BREAKING: MAGA billionaire Elon Musk is now seeking access to all of our highly sensitive taxpayer data at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) through his sham "efficiency" organization DOGE.

    This is the nightmare scenario...

According to CNN, a source familiar with the stunning power grab revealed that Gavin Kliger — one of Musk's software engineer minions — is expected to gain access to the crucial data systems "imminently."

He will be entrenched at the IRS for at least 120 days doing whatever it is that he intends to do for his oligarch master. He will act as a "senior adviser" to the acting IRS commissioner, an intentionally nebulous job description.

The IRS has access to Social Security numbers, banking information, and private data on the tax returns of millions of unsuspecting Americans. It's the kind of data treasure trove that rapacious Silicon Valley capitalists like Musk have long desired access to.

The IRS is considering granting DOGE access to something called the Integrated Data Retrieval System (IDRS) which allows agents to access specific taxpayer accounts along with relevant bank information, addresses, SSNs, as well as other personal data — like pending adoptions.

One need not be paranoid to envision a scenario in which Musk's lackeys decide to start targeting and pulling the data of Trump's political enemies or those who have been critical of his regime.

Democratic Senators Ron Wyden and Elizabeth Warren, outspoken critics of Musk and DOGE, sent a letter to the IRS voicing concerns—

"The IRS must immediately disclose to the Senate Committee on Finance the full extent of the potential access to IRS systems and data granted to DOGE team members so that the Committee can address any efforts by DOGE personnel to gain access to taxpayer records at the IRS, which may constitute criminal violations of federal privacy laws," they wrote."As you are aware, tax returns and return information are subject to strong legal privacy protections, allowing DOGE officials sweeping access these systems may be in violation of these statutes," they added.

The American people deserve answers and DOGE should be shuttered immediately until we get them.

    Thomas Clay, Jr.

Unless you've ever had a night terror, it's difficult to describe what they are like. I am so happy when I woke up that Lily wasn't in the room because I might have scared her. The nightmare was too awful for me to even mention on Facebook but I hate that I have these ugly thoughts somehow coming through my unconscious and I know perfectly well who is the cause of them and I just want to wake up to his obituary.

It's true we get the government we deserve but the problem is that stupid people never understand this and too many morons think they are geniuses, especially if they have a lot of money and we are suffering from the madness of two malignant narcissists who are too stupid to know what they don't know and think they are experts in everything.

Elon Musk is a foreign asset working for Vladimir Putin and China who means to subdue the American government. He is our enemy, not a patriotic American. He is a racist brought up in a racist culture and clearly believes in nonsensical eugenics to the point where he is just shipping off his sperm to impregnate as many women as possible and now he wants to fix America's government and my only hope is that he is wildly successful at fucking everything he does up.

If you have Tesla Stock, you are an amoral and unethical moron. Right now Tesla has more than 7 months of cars in stock in California that can be seen from space and last I checked, liberals do not support nazis and his mental deterioration will only get worse as his ketamine addiction reaches its end and hopefully it will be enough to end him.

The Empire of the United States has failed and will continue to fail because of its disgusting brainwashing of the American public who wrongly believe that free market capitalism is the best system in the world when absolutely no part of the United States Market is free or is unrigged to extract as much wealth for the people who have propped it up for their own benefit.

Why does Warren Buffet keep so much cash until his death? Or Bill Gates? Why not spend that money now? Thus far in Thailand because of Elon Musk 3 old women have died because they could not get their oxygen tanks filled and though they were lowly poor women, every single one of them is better than Musk.

Why do we tolerate this? Because Republicans and Republicans alone no longer believe the rule of law is important and John Roberts and this criminal Supreme Court are exactly the tools of tyranny who mean to make all Americans suffer in this feudalistic society because even with all the wealthy imaginable, we can't take of even the basic needs of our most vulnerable.

We have tens of thousands of homeless people and tens of thousands of empty homes and we as a society make no effort to make their lives better because there's no profit in it.

Why do I detest Christians? Because they love talking about Jesus but don't give a damn what he said to live by. I have yet to meet one who wasn't a morally bankrupt hypocrite and that goes for Mormons and Scientologist especially.

Republicans are the cancer consuming America and the people who are afflicted with the infirmity are too stupid to know they are nothing but brainwashed fools who watch Fox with the same pathology as a schizophrenic talks about all the voices they hear.

Evil is too flaccid and weak a word to fully describe what these pathological morons are. A competent Republican is as unthinkable as an honest burglar. They are all scum. There are no exceptions.

I don't agree totally with some of the above, but enough of it resonates to me to want to drop it in here. We should realize that extreme amts. of wealth do not foster generally the best in people and often only make them want and feel they totally deserve even more. It seems to be the wealthier you are the easier for any feelings of empathy, generosity, humility, gratefulness and other positive emotions to rise to the surface and bear fruit. The entitlement sense tends to take control.

That could be fixed by simply paying the REAL taxes you should — why do rich people fall heir to handouts when the poor die for lack of medicine or for the ravages of starving. Obscene.

And in so many different ways, like trying to ax out whole government departments and firing people left and right.
