REALLY ???? No mention either of how many you killed with Covid and those you may be killing now with your dismantling of U.S. programs. If it's good for the goose as they say.

Something the Democrats can readily be on board for.

Hmmm, only if you talk GOOD trash about Dementia Don otherwise, he will trample on your 1st. Amendment with gusto.

Trump makes the world at large look at the U.S. as having lost its mind completely.
0 -
And he is in the midst of ripping apart thousands upon thousands of those same people who gave him his job and have now become his sacrifice to money and power.

I have no comments on the speech that would not contain a large amount of profanity.

Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s mocking line about Donald Trump — and the narrow margin by which he won the popular vote in the 2024 presidential election — prompted laughter and cheers on Tuesday’s episode of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”
Buttigieg first condemned the president’s speech to a joint session of Congress as “classic Trump” with “a lot of darkness” and “a lot of dazzle” but with “very, very little about the things that most affect our lives.”
Then, the former Democratic presidential candidate predicted Trump will “continue to slide” in popularity if he doesn’t start to deliver on improving the economy and affordability.
“Let’s remember, despite what you heard tonight, [Trump] came in with just under 50% of the vote,” Buttigieg said of November’s vote.
“He won, I’m not disputing that. But the smallest popular vote margin since Nixon,” he added.
Then came the zinger: “I wonder how he feels about something that important being that small in his case?”
Buttigieg let the gag/question ― which clearly targeted Trump’s sensitivities about having the biggest everything (be it crowd sizes, polling results or whatever...) ― hang in the air.
“And he has lost support from there and he will continue to,” Buttigieg added, as the audience applauded.
“To be smaller than Tricky Dick gives one pause, I would say,” host Stephen Colbert quipped in response.

Dh had the speech on but largely ignored most of it. I did 'lend' an ear to hear that he still is "going to take Panama Canal from China' and going to get Greenland one way or the other.
So the raw stupidity and chaotic mental utterances continue. From what little I read — he was rec'd well in Reps. circles but not from the left. Mainly braggadocio intermixed with lies it seems to me and not a lot else. While the response seemed positive from Reps. I still believe a lot of them are worried — so much so it sounds like rather than appear in person in town halls now — they will do tele-town halls. They have already had to experience a huge amt. of confrontations over the things Trump is doing. So, despite great sounding reports etc. I think the proof will be in how responses come with more firings, protests quelled, and un-happy people paying higher prices from tariffs — who were in fact it appears told last night that those things would be mainly of short duration. Well, I have some land Trump might want and you probably do too.
ETA: I'm feeling lots of profanity as well, but just waiting and trying to hold it. If I ever really let loose I may not be able to stop until Trump and Musk are gone.

I did think about this lately with RFK and his measles fiasco going on in Texas. This is going to be a terrible price to pay to allow Trump the traitor back into the WH —- but I guess till enough happens we will be at the mercy of stupid and highly incompetent people.

Three words:

This is such a travesty. Not sure who writes this stuff up for this guy who is fine with it because he is evil, but it is pure dictator.

But oh how the Reps. clapped — so apparently this is what they are willing to call a fantastic lead-off in America being back.
If this is 'back', I'm going to have a lot of trouble with it.
