BREAKING: The pro-Trump Newsmax network is hit with crushing news as a judge rules that they defamed Dominion Voting Systems by falsely accusing them of rigging the 2020 election for Joe Biden.
And it gets so much better...
Thanks to Delaware Superior Court Judge Eric Davis, the case will now head before a jury. If found guilty, Newsmax could be forced to pay hundreds of millions of dollars in damages — and the popular MAGA conspiracy theory will be dealt a final devastating blow.
"We are gratified by the Court’s thorough ruling," said a Dominion spokesperson.
While it's possible that Newsmax could reach a settlement agreement with Dominion to avoid a trial, it's worth noting that the settlement Fox News ended up paying them for defamation amounted to a staggering $787 million.
Judge Davis also ruled that the absurd allegations of election rigging were patently false. He said that Newsmax presented the conspiracy theories as more than just "pure opinion," meaning that First Amendment protections don't apply.
If the case does end up in court, Dominion is asking for $1 billion. They deserve every penny

It will take minimum 10 years to clean up the mess he's created and at least 50 to outlive the shame.
And he managed this (with a lot of co-cronies help) in three months.

Republicans have been doing some serious mental gymnastics over Trump’s tariff policies. Just days ago, they were urging Americans to stay patient, promising that the “short-term pain” of higher prices and economic strain would lead to “long-term gain.” Trump’s tariffs, they argued, were a bold move to protect American industries and stand up to China. But now, with Trump putting a temporary halt on some tariffs, they’re spinning it as a brilliant strategy shift—completely flipping their narrative. What happened to sticking it out?
Take Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham. Earlier this year, they were defending the tariffs as a necessary tool to strengthen America’s position. Now, they’re celebrating the pause like it’s some big win for free trade—even though we still have 10% tariffs across the board and China’s massive tariffs (up to 125% on certain goods) remain in full effect. The mental gymnastics are hard to miss. They’re bending over backward to make this look like a victory while avoiding any acknowledgment of the economic pain these policies have caused.
Even with the pause, the damage is far from over. Those 10% tariffs are still driving up costs for everyday Americans, and China’s retaliatory tariffs remain the biggest headache for U.S. farmers and manufacturers. Republicans seem desperate to spin this as progress, but the reality is that these policies are still hurting—and no amount of political maneuvering can change that.
