Leo's purrs are loud and you can feel them through his chest; he vibrates.

Misty has never purred and I read that it is taught by their mother when they are kittens. She is a rescue who makes up for the no purr by being quite vocal and when she is in full throttle people can hear her while I am on the phone. The shelter named her "Whispers" and now I know why. She only has an outdoor voice, lol.

If I could purr, I would purr when my kitty is snuggling up to me. LOL

I love the purr sound too. Interesting about the rescues and purring , and the loud voices! My Jordan started to purr after a year or so, every time we put food down he would start purr while he ate. Now he purrs more, when my DH walks into the room, he purrs lol.

The loud yowls though.. my other one Igor is a talker and a loud one. Whispers lol lol that is so funny.

Hard to read but try to enlarge each cel. All about cats fascination with boxes.

Betrayal - this is so funny. I always put the boxes down for the boys before striking them down for recycling lol.

rlschaller: The cat is like my Misty. We had a number of boxes that fit the criteria for these and her favorite was the smallest one that she barely could squeeze into. Last night when I went to use the powder room she was in her very narrow scratch box, behind the door, sleeping. Can't understand why she sleeps there when she could sleep on any of the upholstered pieces throughout the house. LOL.

Midnight Louie is not into boxes, but the late Miss Felix would not let a box or gift bag go to waste.

Never thought my girl Princess liked boxes. She loves laundry baskets and if a basket was empty, in she went. Last night she proved me wrong about boxes.

Hubby and I went out last night to Menards to look for a storage shelf to put my glass bake ware and cookbooks on. Came home and we found her younger "sister" Grace in her usual spot on the bed and Nugget sitting in Daddy's chair. No sign of Princess! Searched the house all over the place thinking she was hiding somewhere. Still no sign of her! Grabbed the treat container and shook it, that usually brings her at a run, no reaction! So by this time hubby and I were thinking the worst that she had somehow gotten out of the house, I was in tears at this point, hubby goes back upstairs to the area we are using for storage and starts calling me to come up as he's laughing like there was no tomorrow! I asked him what was so funny, he just pointed to a box in the corner that is for our shredder. I look and there is Princess, happy as a silly clam sitting in the box!

I had a dead baby opossum floating in the pool this morning. Midnight Louie was ready to go for a swim to get it. I had to grab him and put him in the house. I was able to remove the poor thing. I have no idea how it got in there. The pool is screened. Our adventure for the day.

    Jordan looks like my Princess.

Black cats are goregeous. i don't know why people dislike them so much. I have had two black cats and they are total sweethearts.

Midnight Louie is developing a new bad behavior, climbing on the headboard while I am trying to sleep.

Petite1. Fortunately Zorro is to big to climb on the headboard. He just walks across my pillow or me to get to «his" spot.😺

Midnight Louie had a mani/pedi. It was a battle all morning, but completed by 3 pm.
