My daughter has been working with a TNR group. These two are being socialized for adoption. They were found at a place call Fish Pond West. Their names are Minow and Tuna. Hopefully they will be ready for adoption next week.

TThis Is Liam. He is estimated at 5 to 6 weeks. His mama dissapeared and he was taken in by another female cat who is no longer lactating. He is getting better. But is not out of the woods yet. He is a sweet but still needs his mama.

All 3 are so cute. I hope they find loving homes soon. I'm partial to gray cats but Liam's coloration is unusually attractive, so I would pick him.

Liams a sweerty. He is very loving and want to be held. They are not sure if he has guardia parasite or was weaned to soon. The mom abandoned him and he was being cared for by a non lactating mom. I like minnows coloring. It has a bit of a swirl in it. He was a handfull last week when we met him. We weren't sure he was going to calm down enough to go to the rescue for adoption because he would hiss and growl at us. Last week when they were visiting my husband broke him of that behavior and he has been good ever since.

Beautiful kitties. 20 years ago my son and I used to be cat socializer volunteers at the ASPCA, to help the abandoned ones get adopted. Get them used to humans, as friendly and loving …Wed sit there, let them come to us. Play with them give them treats… hope they can get adopted.

My daughter told me yesterday that the little kittens Liam and Sophie were exposed to Feline distemper. Since they are TNR they are provided shots by a tech who works under the supervision of a vet. Unfortunately, they were exposed during a clinic. They only had one set of shots and needed a booster since they are only 5 weeks old. She now has to play the wait and see. The two kittens who exposed the other kittens died the next day. We are now playing the wait and see game. They are currently getting shots that are being tested in kittens to stopped the virus from killing them. They were supposed to be spending the week with me while my daughter is on vacation. The 2 older ones will come after they get washed with a special soap and their crates treated. I have a feral cat that does not get shots living with me so I need to be careful. I am sad. I have grown fond of Liam.

This morning Marbles is laying next to me. I think she wants to go to her favorite spot but to get there she has to go past the noise. She keeps looking at me then upstairs.

I met Guppy for the first time yesterday. He is in quarantine because he was exposed to Feline distemper. He was caught later then Minnow and Tuna. They are all brothers. Tuna and minow are at my house being cute and adorable. Guppy has shown no futher evidence of distemper but refuses to eat and acts depressed. He sits and stares longingly at the other kittens. They were quarantined for distemper as well. Exposed at the same time. He is getting antibody shots for distemper like they did with covid. I feel so bad for the little guy. I held him today and was able to get him to eat about a teaspoon of wet food. His brother's eat a can in less ten minutes between the 2 of them. We finally agreed to try putting the 3 together in the smaller cage after I clean it tomorrow and see if it helps. He does not like the camera.

There is a cat scratch box behind the powder room door. Misty likes to sleep in it, so many times you shut the door and you have an audience. If she is not in there, she will come flying and if the door doesn't catch correctly, she will open it by pushing on it. So I love the sign.

I have been struggle with drug side effects while trying to control night sweats. I realized today I haven't updated the kitten story. All the kittens have recovered from distemper. I am caring for Guppies three brothers. They finally caught the fourth brother. He is an orange tabby like guppy. He is beginning to warm up. His name is Koi and yes his nose is dirty.
I glad they caught him. Our weather here has been hot humid and stormy. I live on top of a mountain. Today's storm flooded almost every road to my house. What normally takes me 10 minutes took me over a ½ hour. I must have turned around 4 times to get up the hill.

Tomorrow I am going to turn Koi lose in the house. Hopefully I dont lose him. He has become very friendly, likes to cuddle, and plays with toys in his creat. Hope I find him again and the other cats aren't mean to him. One of his brothers growls at him.

Koi went to a new home yesterday. He still was not very confident in open spaces but I am hoping he will get better. He has come a long way and I know the people that adopted him. They have lots of patients, love, and he will be spoiled. I think I even miss him. His brother's are going to an adoptio fair and there is a family that wants to meet them. I soon may have a quiet house again with my big guys.
