Good luck with your surgery on Aug 18!
Here is a page to read about saline implant:
Saline implants are filled with sterile salt water, and if they ever leak, your body just absorbs it — one reason some people choose them. The fill can sometimes be adjusted during surgery to help with symmetry.Since you’re starting from an A cup, your surgeon can help you pick a size that works best for your frame.
What to expect after surgery:
- You’ll likely have some tightness and swelling at first.
- Wearing your surgical bra as directed really helps with support and comfort.
- Sleeping propped up can make it easier those first few nights.
- Be gentle with arm movements until your surgeon clears you.
Some quick questions for your surgeon
- What size, profile, and placement (over/under muscle) do you recommend for me?
- Can the saline volume be adjusted after surgery, and how will the implants feel?
- What incision will you use, where will the scars be, and how long will drains stay in?
- What activity limits will I have, and when can I get back to normal exercise?
- What risks should I watch for, and how long do implants usually last?
We hope this is helpful! Your Mods
ps. hoping others chime in with their experiences!
