Something that would be fun to see done by whomever moves into the WH next, take all the tacky gold embellishments from the Oval Office and auction them off. The resulting proceeds would go towards restoring the rose garden. I'm not sure about how taxpayer money and who "owns" the festoons might scuttle this idea, but it would be great to see. Purging the federal buildings of his handprints and restoring some of the damage.

Why are we feeding the members of Congress? They make a decent salary. I never had a job where they provided pay for or free meals. Now they are on recess, they should not be paid at all.

No work, no pay seems to be their mantra for our yhe unfortunately, so it should apply to them as well.

For jury duty I used to get $10/day and a $4 voucher for lunch which bought nothing much.
