I am not Catholic or generally religious, but I say hurray for the Pope, one of the few world leaders who are speaking out against the horror and suffering of so many people perpetrated by Trump and Netanyahu! Our own Canadian Prime Minister is very tepid about it all, saying he approves of a "Zionist Palestine" whatever that is. The Pope is no doubt cognizant of the Reich Concordat of 1933 when Hitler convinced the Pope and the Catholic Church not to oppose his actions, or else they would be his next target. They acquiesced and it's been a stain on the church ever since. Trump's latest graphic of himself as Jesus Christ is further evidence of his defective mental state and delusions of grandeur. Hopefully lots of American voters are offended. To paraphrase what George Clooney said recently: I agree with with the President that we should make America great again, starting in November.
And if Trump decides to attack the Vatican (pop. 500) the US soldiers would take one look at the lovely outfits of the Swiss Guard, eat a few meals in Rome, and immediately defect to the other side.

I think the dress that Melania wore yesterday to greet the Dutch Queen looked like the old flocked bedspreads popular during the 40's. Sometimes I think her taste in clothing is confined exclusively to her mouth.
