Very interesting. When one person shares, so i will write a little. Over time, late 2022, I had the dbl mastectomy. I like to say i had from Feb 9th- Dec 28th to have one real breast left. In some ways, it went so fast, I made a decision i still believe is the right one. It comes to mind again, because of my sister passing away. I was reminded by 2 ladies Sunday night at Lowes. I started a conversation, then told of my sister and her what we think now is her 38-year-old autistic son. The older lady worked and headed an organization for autism. The other one had a brother and nephew who was autistic. She also shared after a bit she was having a procedure done on her breast. She was scared, just a check. We both told her fear comes from not knowing. Tests bring results. All of us had tears in our eyes. The older lady reminded me that my sister brought love to others with what she did and who she was. Do my best now to bring that love out into the world. It will be bringing my sisters spirit out. A day at a time.
Lastly, Friday i go get blood drawn for the anticoagulation dept for my blood clot. I also am getting blood drawn for the guardant reveal test. That is what City of Hope uses, others use Signatera. I knew i wanted to have it done as my sisters last days went by. I would rather know if anything is stirring up in me. My insurance classified it as medically necessary in June of 2025. More will be revealed.
