Tingling hand after lymph nodes removed
Hello,
I had a few lymph nodes removed at the end of February, as well as a single mastectomy. I'm experiencing intermittent hand tingling and numbness. Can anyone relate and what have you done to relieve or eliminate the symptoms? Thank you for sharing your insights!

I had the same thing; it was my last two fingers that were tingly/numb. I had two sentinel lymph nodes taken. It was about a year or a year and a half before it resolved completely. It was my left hand and I'm right-handed, so the only real trouble it caused was difficulty typing. I didn't do anything special to make it go away, it just gradually improved on its own.

I had a right side mastectomy on May 21, my right hand has been tingling and numb. I am glad to hear I am not alone.
I have not thought of anything to try.

Hi @iluminate and @jerimanelle, and welcome to our Community! We're sorry you're both dealing with this. Tingling and numbness after breast surgery and lymph node removal can be unsettling and it's good that you're comparing experiences here, but we also encourage you to mention these symptoms to your surgical team if you haven't already, particularly if they are worsening or affecting your daily activities. They can help determine whether this is part of the normal healing process or if additional evaluation or physical therapy might be helpful.

We're glad you're both here!
