Anyone currently doing (or recently completed) metronomic CMF?
I'm hoping to connect with women who are currently receiving, or have recently completed, metronomic CMF chemotherapy for early-stage breast cancer.
I’ll be starting metronomic CMF in September. My regimen is 24 weeks of daily oral cyclophosphamide, with weekly IV methotrexate and 5-FU for the first 12 weeks.
I’d especially love to hear from anyone who has had this regimen in the last few years. What was your experience like? How difficult were the side effects, and were you able to stay active and maintain a fairly normal routine? Did you complete the full course as planned?
Age 71, Stage 1A, IDC, 12 mm, grade 2, ER+/PR+/HER2-, clinically node-negative/no sentinel node biopsies, lumpectomy with clear margins, Oncotype DX 26 (progesterone flipped to negative), radiation completed.
