Feminism has never been about getting a job for one woman. It's about making life more fair for women everywhere. It's not about a piece of the existing pie; there are too many of us for that. It's about baking a new pie.

Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.

I like animals because they are not consciously cruel and don't betray each other.

Tomorrow is the day the "war" starts. I hope you can open it. It is playful but it is serious. Stop picking on us. Who can't smile at beavers in RCMP red serge playing bagpipes?

Elderberry, what can I say. We have an idiot for a president and the repugnicans refuse to reign him in. Loved the video and have no beef with Canadian government or citizenry. Thanks for the laugh. Loved the beavers.

Great video! For what it's worth, the United States is at the point where 2/3rds of people in this country can't stand him either. I'm so ashamed of our Congress ( who could do something about all this) & of the people who voted him in.
I don't know how we will ever recover.

A mountain is composed of tiny grains of earth. The ocean is made up of tiny drops of water. Even so, life is but an endless series of little details, actions, speeches, and thoughts. And the consequences whether good or bad of even the least of them are far-reaching.

Most Canadians feel sorry for the decent Americans stuck with this nightmare. I shared the video with you because you are fellow travellers. I love this thread. I would never say that you lot are picking on us. But I will say this: "Thank you DJT for making Canadians feel proud of being Candians" As a country, we were always a little remiss about too much rah-rah, flag waving" Showy patrionism was considerd a tad gauche.

In memory of the 25th Anniversary of 9/11:
That though the radiance which was once so bright be now forever taken from my sight. Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, glory in the flower. We will grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind.
