Today is my youngest DD's birthday! They got about 5" of snow in TX, so she is having a white birthday, but all of her family are sick, and have fevers. I am thankful they were able to celebrate christmas early with us, and that they got home safely. Also glad only my gdau was real sick on their long drive home. So I am sending her big Happy Birthday wishes today...

Thank you all for the birthday wishes for my DD and get well wishes for her family. OMG what is going around here in the HTL? Ya think one of the Tenders brought in those germs? Too many loungettes on antib's....hope you will all get well soonliest. Don't forget to eat yogurt or take probiotics while taking the antib's. I just feel like something is coming on, so on Sue's advice, I got the zicam today.
Dorkie, NO....can't sleet there! Those storms all over make it a bit scary to travel Friday. Will have to keep an eye on the weather. They have cancelled SO many flights and delayed others, but lo and behold they upgraded us from Atl to Newark. Go figure. THat was earlier than they usually do it, also. Maybe they KNOW they will end up cancelling our flights??? Hope not, thuogh.
Sorry you had a bad Christmas Lara. What happened? Our Christmas eve wasn't good since we never got to eat due to the non-service at Ruth's Chris...but our celebration a couple of days earlier was really nice.

Thats a long day, Alli. I wish you could just stay home and rest, but I know your clients would NOT like that! We need to start packing, but I was busy all day putting the ornaments away and doing little things. And I just feel so worn out. Can only imagine how you and Cami feel, with this sickness! Hope you all get a good nights sleep and feel better in the ayem!

Wow….can’t believe it’s been 2 days. Hope everyone had a wonderful xmas. Thank you all for da Kudo's on mese family n pooches. I tink dey all purdy cootcoot too! We had our potluck at da bar yest…I jes wasn’t feeling so good. I made my tater casserole and we went bout 3p…but I was home in bed by 5:30p...stayed there til 7:30a. Been off and on all day. So…since I did manage to get most of the bills done…thought I’d ck da lounge wif me killa n Nattys. OOOhhh…also watched Dead Poet’s Society this afternoon…cried…o mese!

I got fooled I thought since I was on an antibiotic I wouldn't catch this horrendous cold that's going around--well it' all around me. Chit and inside of me.
Vino is this probably the same one it's all in the head, with a sore throat and slight fever--OHH and u have to work tomorrow--How can u I can hardly move. I slept most of rhe day. And all this crazy weather all over the place, so far it's not here just cold. Oh I'll wait til Friday to call the Dr. since I'm on the other anti-bioic-hope the weather stay decent in order to go out. Oh my head is mushy.
Kat u'r leaving in just a couple of days--woohoo.
Hope everyone is feeling better soon---and Orange I hope u'r all right.

hello my beauties! Sounds like xmas was a mixed bag for the group. I had been putting off posting cuz my chit is such a depressing bag of chit! So you'll remember I had trouble with ascties (fluid) which was drained off the start of Dec. Have had 3 more draining since then and although there is so much relief, all these drains leave you super fatigued and doesn't touch the start of the constant pain I'm in (throughout the abdominal area). so now I'm on constant painkillers or be in pain. No way am I gonna sit here in pain. ooohhhhh and also started a new chemo (doxil) so who knows what is causing what? So I haven't been out of the house for more than 3 weeks. It's either too physically painful or I'm too looped from the pain pills. Luckily my daughter is here for a month waiting on me hand and foot and I'll be checking into h.o.s.p.I.c.e this week. (weird, my tablet won't let me type that word. ) couln't believe how many pages of posts I'd missed. Lub all of yous super women.

rakulynda - you are so right about a mixed bag, thought i was over some of the fam bs and sad memories of this chit and that chit but meezie got bit in de behind outta de blue and ended up in de bathroom melted down (sheesh!). i better 2day. i bring this up cuz it makes me wanna express how grateful I am to all the loving HTL hotties who have helped me get through another holiday wif fam and all the effing bs from before when we foyst met in 2010. chit, where would i be wifout you goilies???? there is so much dat i won't bore you wif, but my deepest gratitude and love go out to the bweasties i have met here who have pulled me through. Hi Girls,
I came here tonight to tail ye a funny short story. Here is goes: My titty now farts! No kidding, I had a witness who heard it happen twice tonight. I could hear it sort of gurgling in the past but tonight, my titty (or lack thereof) is farting! I think it is the turkey leftovers I had for dinner. Really, it must be from air getting into the hole when do my cleansing routine of pouring peroxide into the hole, then taking a Q-tip with peroxide and cleaning out the pocket. Who'd have thunk that all this bad would give me bragging rights. Now how many people can say that their titty farts? I thought of posting on facebook but figured it would be a little TMI for facebook, yes?
To all of you who are sick or suffering, I am praying very hard for all of you. Allison, hope you feel better in de morning. I am glad you went to see the doctor and got the anti-biotic. Camille, I hope your cold passes as quick as it hit you. Kathy, praying that you also feel better and kick that cold to the curb. Also praying for Kathy's DD Kelley and family to get better soon. And Suz, you too, damn it, hate when my friends are not feeling well. If I missed anyone in my prayers, no worries, you are all always covered in my "blanket" prayer for all of mese bwesties!
And RakuLynda, I am glad you checked in but hate hearing you are in so much pain. I hope you are able to keep all of us updated. ((((Lynda)))). I ditto what Chrissy said in hoping you will be more comforbable with the help of hospice. I wish I could come to you and give you a big DorkY hug in person but that is not possible. So for now, I shall say a speical prayer for you:
