whew, Glad you 'splained dat one, Allicat! Cobra, yikes, but COBIA, omg that is the bestest fish......tastes like steak! OR at least de last time we wuz at da beach and had it in a restaurant,it tasted like steak. Might have been in Virginia Beach. Enjoy your last day there tomorrow!!!!
Dorkie, OMG I really LOL at your "where do broken farts go"! Still laffing, actually!
While all those prayers are going out for our MIA girlz, lets not foiget our other Cindy....haven't heard from her since her surgery on April 30.....scary now. PULEEZ come back to ta lounge, girlz, wese misses all of youse!!!!
Been watching the Billboard Awards from MGM. One year DH and I attended that, of course we were sitting waaaay back (cheap seats..lol). BUT Mohammed Ali walked right in front of us....he was lost and was supposed to be down front. Cher was a presenter that year. Only saw her sing once, with Sonny.....when they were still young (and so was I). I can't believe LMFAO won over Adele in one catagory, and over Black Eyed Peas and Antebellum in another category. I mean, I love the "Party Rockin" song and "I'm Sexy and I know it", but better than Adele.....come on! After seeing that, I need some stronger dwinks. Pants!!!!!
Huggers!

Oh yeah, Dork, Thanks for having the band honor Robin Gibb, and the others. Lets add Whitney too. Did anyone hear Jordin Sparks sing Whitney's song....oh it was amazing. Glad she did EXCELLENTLY, as earlier Beddingfield (sp?) sorta ruined another of Whitney's songs; thought it sounded awful the way she sung it.
But sheesh DORK, "Where do broken farts go" keeps running thru my head........

Hope no one's allergic to flowers....our gardenia is full of blooms, as well as the Magnolia trees, so brought LOTS of them to the partay (took some to my parents house today too). Both have strong fragrance, so it smells SOOOOOO good at our partay!!!

Just for you Wahine (Kathy)....and in honor of Robin Gibb
HOW can you mend a broken fart , how can you stop the rain from falling down. How can you stop, the sun from shining...what makes the world go round...ba da da da dat....
RIP Robin Gibb. Losing too many great artists lately, all from de FNRB. FURB. FU!
sarwy mese being a widdle naughty. I did not eben read past Wahine's comment on farts and jest had to post another gwate "fart" song. To those who think it is gross, oh well. hehehe.

Good Morning, Loungettes! Another weekend is in the books, almost. Got to make a few calls at 8 ayem, then I'm done until the meeting tomorrow. Had another instance of admitting a patient to hospice services Saturday, then making the death visit on Sunday. Sometimes I cringe when I think of all that paperwork for one day of service, but then I remember things like the huge smile this gentleman had on his face when he realized he was back in his own home, in his own bed. Such a simple request, so important to him and his family. I guess a bit of paperwork is not such a big thing.

DorKable--so glad you are home again, and able to visit the fukitol fountain. I love the new Happy Pill Bar--such a fun but relaxed place! I think I'm going to be spending a lot of time there. Your back pain may be from the position you are in during surgery, and the pulling and tugging on the muscle in front can extend around to the back. I'm pretty sure you'd have been told if you were going to have an incision on your back, and you would probably have a dressing on it if you did. You can always use the hand mirror while standing in in front of the bathroom mirror to see your backside without twisting!

Mrs. Vino--oh, dear, it's so bad when DD has a bad teacher. I wonder why you weren't told about her grades before now? It seems like that would have been the logical thing to do, to give her time to reverse the problem. And you are right, problems at school often reflect issues at home. I say issues instead of problems because thinks like ill family members and the like aren't problems, they are things that happen that have to be dealt with. I feel so sorry for kids who have to learn to deal with such serious life issues while they are so young. I'm sure your Aubrey will turn things around, and I think making her take none-electronic time is a great idea, one that we should all do!
Cindie--thanks for the good wishes, looking forward to tomorrow's interview. If nothing else I'll find out what kind of experience is needed locally and that's good info to have. It's not only good of your employer to let you adjust your work schedule, it's required under the ADA. Cancer is considered a disability under the ADA. It's great when an employer does what they are supposed to without argument!
Goldie--Yes, I discovered I NEED to share that Mojito! I'm looking forward to sharing another one after the interview tomorrow. Hope you find your cord soon!

Mema--LOVE the lampshade hat! I need to get me one to go with it!

Paula--WELCOME!! Glad to see you here, and you are right, wine (or a related beverage of choice) is better than drugs, and the company here is better than wine! Keep some ice on the biopsy site, that will help with the owies.

Just thinking that "Barmen" came from a drinking version of the Lord's prayer, was that something Junie posted? Not sure why I think that she posted it. I've got to see if I can find it again, it was fun!
Hey, not only did I miss a lampshade party, Sadie missed a furbaby lampshade party! Gonna have to make that up to her.
Mema--no moles rule, hum? Does that mean I can't visit until after I get my mole removed next month? I promise I'll keep it covered up with something if you let me keep coming!
Chrissy--that's what usually happens, once the coumadin dose is established for a patient, the therapy time is over! Such a pain in the finger, sometimes.

Welcome, Spunkyboobster! What's you're favorite part of the lounge so far??

Stella! You and JohnBoy???? That's hard to believe. You and JohnBoy's $$$$, THAT's believable. You have a really good plan going, there, girl! If I help do I get a percentage of the $$$?

Princess Glitter Sizzle says today's DOTD HAS to be the Duck Fart!
1/2 oz Amaretto
1/2 oz Bourbon
1/2 oz Irish CreamDirections
Layer ingredients in a Beer Mug in order as listed above.0 -
Good morning NM! And you are right about Aubrey's teacher, she should have let us know sooner about her grades, as she can't turn them around now. Will be so glad when this school year is over! Also, been wanting to ask you about marginalization of white blood cells. That's what my Onc thinks is happening with mine. My last chemo was August 22nd, and my counts should be up by now. WBC was 3.2 last week, with absolute nutrifills(?) at 0.9. My Onc said she thinks my white blood cells are marginalizing? That they are there, but only show up when needed? Maybe you can help me understand this, because I don't! Thank u muchliest!
And I will have a duck fart! Thanks to u Dorkaroo, I now have the song "unchain my fart" in my dern head! All day at the beach, I will have "Unchain my fart, set me free" in my head! LMAO!0 -
Mema, I don't always find the picture for a DOTD with the recipe. Sometime 2 different websites. Don't try to copy and paste it all as one. Just do sections at a time.
Dork, you are da best, WOWSA what a party you put together. And so sweet of you to give the Tenders a night off. So, you mean to tell me, when you first posted "thank you from the bottom of my fart" you MEANT to say that, and it wasn't a typo? Anywho, I think you have started a trend here at The HTL.
LOL Alli at the Cobra. I was like "wow" the girl eats snake! Enjoy your last day at the beach. I think it was well deserved and served its purpose! NM has a good point about Aubrey and her grades, the little darling has been through a lot too. Oh dear, "unchain my fart" LMAO. Dork, look what you have started!
Cyn, thanks for clarifying the picture. None the less, it's still nice to see a face. I remember you mentioning the break-up with your partner when you first came here, I hope you are doing ok with that. And yes, that was funny about throwing your DS to the curb with John Boy.....good one! How old is your son? Is he old enough to even be joining us? Did you ask for something, for your ever burning boob? It is only going to get worse, you need to get on that girl. That is an order. And you are only half way done.
Spunky, we party like this all the time!!!! ALL THE TIME!
Kathy, as soon as I saw your flowers, I thought....OMG, your yard must smell heavenly! And they are so pretty. You did a great job on the photography. I like the second one, mostly because of the unopened bud next to the blooming one.
Good morning NM, tank ewe for sharing your Mojito. You iz so sweet and I will be gladly to share the next one wif you! Once again, you are such a wealth of information for us. Explaining to Dork about her back and to Cyndie for her schedule. Shall we all join you for your interview? YES, Junie gave us BARMEN. And thank you again for the Duck Fart, one of my fav's, but I like them with just Baileys and Crown Royal. There are several different recipes for them, one has Kahlua in it. Never had one with Amaretto.
Mema, I keep foygetting to tale you how purdy you look in your lavender lamp shade. Just mahvolus!
How about "Be Still My Fart"!

Hiya Goils, THANK GOD we have no hangovers at the HTL or ANY of our parties.....also THank You Dorkie for being the Hostie with the Mostie. Hope de Wenches cleaned up after all our mess; don't want you to even lift a finger today.
Yeah, NM, you are right, Lori too, that it was Junie that posted that prayer with "BarMen". Similar to the one you found Lori, but it was a little different I think. Can you search for it? You are SO GOOD at doing that. Mahalo in advance!
NM, Sorry you lost another patient, but yes, so good to have him back home even if just for a day or so. YOU are so compassionate, and in the right field, thats for sure. NOW to find a good employer that realizes that!!! Good luck on the interview!
Juliet, FUNNY PICS....esp love the skunk fart one! LOL.
Oh Lori, you are tooooo nice, but I can't take credit for those pics. I SHOULD take some....have some of one of my magnolia trees, and gardenia bush, but haven't zoomed in on single blossoms (thanks for those goes to Google Image Search).
Is it wrong to pray for our neighbors to move??? Getting fercited as they threw out a bunch of stuff last week, and yesterday they had a bunch of junk in the driveway, and BOXES in the garage....YESSSSSSSSS! They are very educated, but live like "white trash" and there are covenants here that they ignore. Their trash ends up in our yard ALL THE TIME, and the 4 rugrats (well 3, the baby is too young)) ride their bikes and tricycles on the sidewalk coming from behind the shrubs at our driveway so fast, we have had some close calls when backing out,. AND soooooo loud, of course all their play equipment is right against our fence. Thank God we planted some leyland cypress' along that side which blocks out the view of their back yard (looks like a dump). OK.....my daily rant....but oh please we sure hope they are moving. The past neighbors in that house have been great.
House Party is hosting a Seagram's event.....surely I would qualify for hosting that partay, right? Used to do a lot of them, but haven't for at least a couple of yrs. OK, gonna imbide in some duck farts! Gonna get the Tenders to make some up like Goldie likes em, and some like NM posted...we can have a fart-tasting (with appropriate songs thanks to Dorkie!).
My Fart Will Go On (Titanic),
Kath

Kathy, I hope they're moving! Good luck girl! That's scary about backing out of the driveway!
Came up from the beach to have lunch, and a gin and tonic ;-) : there is a guy a few balconies up who must have in a pair of earphones, belting out the worst rendition of Hey Jude I've ever heard, lol. Aubrey is cracking up.
BBL, taters! Meanwhile......
Put a little love in your Fart!0 -
Good Morning or Afternoon depending on who/where you are loungettes, Quite the Partay last night....a little tuckered out this morning.....replacement tenders did a pretty good job.
Love the pics Juliet....I need practice ..but I have the basic idea down thanks to Dorty...Lori, you rock with the pics also....where on earth do you come up with them all? And so appropriate as well. Love the Larger Prayer!! I laughed hard at that one. Someone said your dear Junie posted that once?
Lori in answer to your question....I am well over my breakup with psyco X.That was at the end of December Truly a crazy person..someday I'll tell you all the crazy chit I dealt with then...I have two DS's DS1 is 21..so yes, he can participate legally...but he is male so can only peek inside the door of the HTL or look in the windows...he doesnt care much for dwinking anyway..DS2 I found out this morning is moving in here next week from Massachusetts..he is just turning 19 and graduates on Thursday next week and is moving here in Friday...Then my DD (only one of those) is visiting later next month for a few weeks..she is 17. I cant remember the last time I had them all under one roof at the same time.
NM , are you a nurse? Sounds like your job is very emotionally straining...I hope you succede in your interview...Im sure you will as dedicated and compasionate people are hard to come by and a job like that isnt easy. Thanks for the job tip and what my rights are legally...I get nervous because I was laid off when I was in Phoenix and that was a horrible feeling...I have been approved for FMLA now and when I have my surgery in July I have salary continuance thru my company that will pay me 100 percent for about 4 weeks....the Mojioto's again look really refreshing and its hot hot hot today....and humid ...blech..
Kath....love the flowers...how nice to have them growing in your yard...must be beautiful...and I can also imagine it smells as beautiful as it looks.....must put those slobish neighbors to shame...Hope they move for you.
Ohoh...almost forgot...Lori....Im using the cream samples the RO gave me last week..also aloe from the plant and some aquafo.....I really cant see too much for improvement..have to see what the RO says when she checks me out Tuesday.
TTFN Ladies...catch up with you later
0 -
afternoon all, nm -can we come to the inteview with you, so when you don't blow your own trumpet ,we can chime in and say you are the kind of nurse we want looking after us
you gave that gent the "best death" he died at home and knowing you , you made sure he was as comfitible as he possibly could be. also don't forget your "i'm a good nurse file" all those letters and mentions! you've got. cyndie-the nurses at the rad centre can always check you out too, and get you into see the md that day if needed. just watch that skin. my group we all bought lottery scratch off tickets for the amount of days we had rads ,so when we finished a tx ,we would do a scratchoff, it was so nice to see that pile of tickets deminishing .and i made a profit!. it was strange when they ended, i got so use to rad tx,gym, home sleep work,it took a while to adjust to my free time!. love the prayer. 0 -
wtf! 0 -
What building, Juliet? I'm gonna send Ray(DH) over there, lol.
0 -
LOL Juliet and Alli! Youse so funny. I tink I send me DH dere too. Ya know, I sorta outta commission at de moment. hehe.
Allison, keep signing those fart songs. Mese has to come up with a few good ones, drawing a blank at de moment. And dat teacher, booooooo. I find it totally unacceptable that she did not advise you earlier of a problem at school. You did the right thing in taking away something that hurts. She will remember next time to get her work done, fo shore. She is a good kid and yes, I agree that she has had a terrible year too. It has to be so hard for her being so young and probably living in fear of losing her Mommy. I can't even imagine the pain in her little fart (ha, could not resist). Really, the poor girl must be so afraid. I had a fear of losing my parents when I was young and they were healthy! Wheneber someone lost a parent, I would always think that I was next.
Katrwinka, oh oh oh, mese sure hope your wigger neighbors are planning on moving. I know how much they have bothered you over de years. If you want to see if dere house is on de market without a For Sale sign, just google de address. I sure hope dey are going far far away. Those kids on dere bikes playing in your driveway is horrible but to have to live next to slobs, dat is jest not fair. (now don't enybuddy take offense at de word wigger, it jest means slobs hehe).
Chrissy B, I still tinking of you and hoping de levels behaves demselves. Sending you a hug and lots love.
NM, tanks for de suggestions on checking out mese back but de doctor has me wrapped like a mummy and mese not allowed to take it off until he sees mese on Thisrty thirstdey. I am tinking dat de PS had to stretch out de lat muscle cuz it is berry tender back dere. So wishing you all de best to you on de interview tomorrowee. Dat is one ting good about you nurses, dat seems to be a profession that is unaffected by de economy, yes? It takes a special person to do your job. I know I could never handle it. De nurses over at de Jefferson hospital were all so awesome and kind and made me feel like a princess. My DD said dat she thought de nurse that wheeled me down to de car appeared to be annoyed with mese. But dat because I was going to try to walk across de city street to get to de car instead of waiting patiently for my DD to turn around in de city. Oops, mese did not mean to make her mad, I was berry high on de propofol. Ennyway, tanks for being heres for mese and all me goils for dat matter. And you can come in de lounge, mese nebber agreed to dat "no mole" rule anyweigh. I used to have a mole right under mese eye and my mom did not want me to have it removed as she thought it was cutliest on me. But it changed shape so had to be removed. Dis was in de early 80's. Anyway, all yese goils remember, moles need love too.
Cyn, how nice that you will have all your kiddies with you. I hope your burns heal up quickly and you get through this. You are such a trooper with all de crud you are dealing with. I enjoy having you in de lounge with us. So glad you are not one of those "hit and run" goils who pop in and act fercited den nessapear.
Lori, you caught me! I did intentionally write de word fart but let you goils tink it was a typo. Now de truth comes out. Really, though, it is quite fun using de word fart, ya see, some of our goils has already found de fun it saying de silly word. Tanks for de duck fart dwinkies. Did you find yer charger?
Scuby, I made my post op appointment for 2pm on thirstdey. They had a 9:30 but I prefer going over later to miss de rush hour traffic. I really *HOPE* that we can get together if only for 15 minutes. I miss you! Let me know. I could always come over early and meet you before my appointment if that is better for you.
Does anybody want to participate in a monkeydey partay? I am feeling like anudder partay. De tenders are rested up and ready to work for us. Who's in?
And where is my Mema Sue dis afternoon?
And Karen, if you are reading, come on back, we miss you! I hope all is well, dear.
Hope I did not miss anyone. Cheers my ladies!! Love you all, yes, from de bottom of my fart hehe!!

OMG Kathy, I am cracking up at your song "My Fart Goes On". Dork, look what you have started! Ok, I went looking for the prayer, only to find it was DEE that posted it. It's on page 198.
Here's another I thought was cute, and since it's Sunday kinda fitting: (well maybe not..lol)
THE BEER PRAYER:
Our lager, Which art in barrels, Hallowed be thy drink, Thy will be drunk (I will be drunk) At home as in the tavern. Give us this day our foamy head, And forgive us our spillage, As we forgive those who spill against us. And lead us not into incarceration, But deliver us from hangovers, For thine is the beer, the bitter, and the lager.
BARMEN
Kathy, you should have owned those photos, I would have believed you. I hope your neighbors are moving, and no it is not wrong to hope that. I hope it's not just a "spring clean".
Alli, funny about the singer!!!! Guess he didn't realize he was singing so loud! I would sound like him, I love to sing, but can't carry a tune in a bucket.
Cyn, NM and Beans are really good at finding pictures too. I think better than me! You just google something, and then click on "images". So instead of websites, it shows you "images". I have been writing this for hours, so probably missed lots, phone has been ringing off the hook. But Junie was a friend of ours that has passed away last year. Great gal, super super funny, so we try to speak of her as often as we can. She did not pass from BC. As for your son, I don't think he should be peaking in at The HTL either!!!! LOL! As for my burns, they would send me to the wound care section of my cancer center.
Julia, such nice words for NM. We all could certainly toot her horn, eh?

Mrs. Vino--marginalization of the white blood cells (WBCs) has 2 definitions. One is when the WBCs are sticking to the inner lining of the blood vessels, usually a local thing that happens when there is an injury but can be widespread in the early stages of inflammatory conditions like arthritis. The second definition refers to a phenomenon of blood flow through the blood vessels. The flow tends to be just a bit turbulent, causing the heavier, 'hairy' red blood cells to concentrate in the center of the blood vessel and the lighter WBCs to concentrate around the edges of the blood vessel. When a blood test is drawn from a large enough blood vessel where this is happening the WBC can be artificially low because the blood sample is being taken from the center of the blood stream. This is more like to be happening if the blood sample is being taken from a port or other IV catheter. In either case a blood count would look like there are fewer WBCs than there really are. When a person is fighting an infection the bone marrow goes into overdrive on WBC production and the WBCs will show up suddenly in the blood count, creating an illusion that the WBCs aren't there until they are needed. A bone marrow test can determine if the number of WBCs being made is actually adequate, but the risks, not to mention the discomfort, of the procedure are usually considered to be higher than the benefit of getting the info. You probably aren't at any great risk of infection at this point, which is the underlying concern. Docs like to see the bone marrow damage done by chemo reversed completely, proven by white and red blood cell counts and platelet counts returning to normal within a year of finishing chemo.
Goldie--Yes, that's it, that's the version I couldn't find this morning!!!! BARMEN!!!!!!! Now I remember there was a run of posts with different Duck Fart recipes, I wanted to try the one with Kahlua, one of my favorite dwinkies! Please do come with me on my interview tomorrow, it's at 10:30, and my current challenge is to find an outfit I can wear to the Tuesday morning meeting that won't scream "She's interviewing!" at the meeting but will look professional for the interview. I'm thinking I'll need to do something with a scarf or vest that I can put on in the car after the meeting. I'll play around with that later.
Wahine--I don't think it's wrong to pray that your neighbors are moving. I can imagine how irritating the noise and having to worry about the kids on bikes and such must be. Not to mention the yard looking like a dump. That kind of thing is one of the reasons I bought a house with no neighbors near enough for that to be a big problem. Yeah, one neighbor has a garage band that plays every Friday night in the summer, and they are NOT good, but if that's all I've got to complain about I need to shut up! I got a call from work just a little while ago, I forgot to get one form filled out by the doc so we won't get paid for that patient's care. The Hospice Team leader says she isn't worried about it, it was only one day of service, and it takes a whole team to get all the ducks in a row to admit a patient to hospice during the week, and she doesn't expect me to remember everything every team member does for every admission. I'm glad she's ok with the situation, but I bet I'll hear about it from the supervisors. The funny thing is, I don't really care if the supers are upset, I still see that man's smile in my mind. God will say I did good, even if the billing office says I screwed up. I FART upon them ALL!!!

Cindy--yep, guilty as charged, I am an RN. An opinionated one, who jumps up on her soap box every so often and rants and raves about the current state of the health care system, as any of the loungettes will tell you. They are so good at listening to me , and bring me lots of drinks when I get going on an especially good role. Eventually I get so tipsy I fall off my soap box and go float in the pool! Hmmm, I wonder if there is a method in that madness that I never noticed before???
Getting approval for FMLA is great, having a company that will continue your salary is FANTASTIC!!!! Good for you!!!! Yes, my job is emotionally difficult at times, but there are so many more times that are rewarding that the scales always end up tipping in that direction. I've got a lead on another teaching job locally, too, so things are looking up in that direction.
Juliet--ah, yes, I must make a note of this one in my "I'm a good nurse" file. I always seem to forget how many things there are in there when I pull it out. And yes, please do come with me tomorrow, and I will be looking for tinfoil the entire time!

DorKable--I'm glad the nurses made you feel like a princess, that's only what you deserve! I forgot you would be all wrapped up, that does make it harder to see, doesn't it??? Have you tried an ice pack on the sore area? Sometimes cool therapy is a big help not only with the pain but with bringing down the swelling. And yes, we do get annoyed with patients who don't let us do ALL of our job, including getting you safely into the car! But we also know that most people are not being their normal selves, but are "under the influence" and we get some entertainment from that!

Now I need to get my butt moving and get the dishes done and a grocery list written up for tomorrow on the way home. And I should go mow the lawn, too. And try to get the tiller started. Ah the ongoing TO DO list that comes with home ownership!

Yes, I found my charger!

Hello goils! Been m.i.a. too long! The moving part is all over, now it's all the other chit that has to be dealt with. My older brother is stressing out in his old age. Little brother and I have to help him get organized. He moved enough chit to fill 2 houses. Now he's wondering how to make it all fit. I had a suggestion-throw half the stuff out! I'm more stressed by that than getting my new place in order. He's disabled so we have to help him a lot. I'm actually looking forward to my upcoming sewgery just to get some rest. I must be crazy to look forward to that. And i'm not too happy w/this new layout. When I signed in I thought I clicked on the wrong thing and went into another world. Took me a minute to figure out they pulled a facebook on me. Anyway now is crunch time-have to start exercising and eating more protein. I'm told it helps w/the healing process, especially w/t.e. sewgery. Wonder if rum in the banana smoothie still counts as healthy??? DORK-Glad you're feeling better but i'm thinking there must be a better way of flirting w/hot guys. You don't always have to have sewgeries to do that. To all the other goils will chat w/you later. CHEERS!

Well, hello goils....made it thru another Monkey dey w/o insident..yeah!! The start of week 4 in the zap machine...when I get there it seems like the place is almost deserted..I believe I'm their last patient of the day. I love the FARTS ...Thanks Dorty ...thats one word that your never to old to find funny...and I love the opportunity to use it. But of course now I cant think of a thing....maybe something will come to me... Dorty I found my home..and Im sticking around..so no fly by night passer by here...I am excited for my kiddies to all be here..I harbor a lot of guilt feelings with them as they lived with their father mostly growing up and now I feel like Im given a second chance to make things up to them as their father is a huge A$$ and their step mom sucks rocks and is evil mean.
Lori...good thing you found your charger..I musta missed when you losted it. Love that prayer too...that one is good for me. You all told me about Junie my first day at the HTL..she was a Miller girl..am I right??
Best of luck to NM tomoree in le interview..you will do great!! I think the scarf/vest Idea is a good one....that way you can dress it up after your meeting. When I was laid off I went for an interview that was a group interview and then they took you aside to talk..they offerd me the job and told me that I wore my blouse too low cut ..they didnt want to see clevege...can you imagine??? Worst job I ever had too.
Do you make sure your soap box is right in front of da pool so you fall right in like those old lipton tea commercials??? My eyes hurt so bad from these dang allergies I need to give them a rest...I'll be back to check in with you all.

Hi Undy! Glad you're back! When is your surgery? I didn't know u picked a surgeon yet, thought u were still shopping around?
Mema, u crack me up! Laughed through your whole post!
Yeh! Lori found her charger! Woo Hoo!
Have to tell y'all, Ray is not a beach bum, so he went out exploring today while we stayed here. Well, he went to a place called The Happy Shack, and bought these ridiculous tye dyed shirts for us. Just for fun, I agreed to wear them to dinner. OMG, I will never live it down. Had the waitress take a pic, and it's like those ridiculous Christmas cards with families in matching outfits. We look like something out of the partridge family. I couldn't get back to the room quick enough. The stares were hilarious! I made a post on FB, and it's been the talk of the night, LMAO! I told the lady at the restaurant I lost a bet, lol.
Anyway, gots ta go pack my chit,
