Oh CynCyn - I wud love love to go...never been there. But timing is way off. I have to fill in at work...AGAIN! This time 4 in a row July 2, 3, 4, 5th....den we git up early Fri da 6th, go to Vegas, git on a plane to Portland, OR. My DH is NOT happy I agreed to 4 in a row...heavy sigh! Anyway, Mese wud love to hab a beer wif you. But hey....don't fret....am trying to work out a trip by meself to that neck of the woods...if DH comes, then I kno we'll be in/or near New Orleans, he has good friend in that area.

Royal Jamboree Punch
ingredients
300ml Beefeater London Dry Gin
5tbsp strawberry jam
5tbsp lemon juice
100ml Dubonnet
300ml red grape juice
Lemonade
method
Pour all ingredients except lemonade in a punch bowl or jug and stir well, making sure the jam is mixed thoroughly.
Add ice, top with lemonade and serve in highball glasses.
Garnish with thin slices of lemon (lemon wheels), fresh strawberries sliced in half and sliced red grapes.0 -

Happy Monkey day, berry berry sleepy.....Sue your hair....about 15 years ago I was a berry sickly lady....I went in for a tubal ligation and the surgeon effed me up and tore me all up inside..I ended up in ICU hooked up to all kinds of chit with a breathing tube and in a chemical coma for about a month ...n e way, to make my long story short...I lost a lot of hair int he back of my head from laying on it I suppose..when it grew back it came back all curley..I used to spend a fortune on perms...havent spent a dime since that fiasco.

Yes Sue, leaving tomorrow for Phx, blindside on Wednesday, doctor Thursday and then home on Friday, unless we decide to make the drive Thursday. The only thing George is losing for sure, is packing for us. That is all we are doing. We are taking OUR stuff and bringing it back here. The other business can stay there. Just have to wait and see what happens. I have some hair that is almost straight, the hair on top IS straight, and then I have my ringlets!
Cyn, the town is my yard, yes. It is the fence we built, to keep the critters out of my garden. We are in the high desert, 6000'. The spare room is available anytime! And your secret is safe with us. I check in from work too sometimes. That was so sad to read about illness and coma, how scary. So glad you are ok now, well with that anyways. Now you have the F'ing RB to deal with. As for my coo coo clock (you are very obserbant) it was my grandma's and very sensitive and if it's not hanging just right, it won't stay working. DH likes to slam the door, and it jiggles that wall, just enough to knock it off kilter, and I get tired of trying to adjust it just right, and sometimes can't get it at all.
Alli, glad you are enjoying Little House with Aubrey. Another good show is Andy Griffith, we have all the seasons of it. Opie was SO cute when he was real little.

Good morning, Loungettes! Chilly and rainy here today, started yesterday afternoon. Flood warnings out, the pond is back in the yard. I'm actually considering turning the furnace on for a little bit, 53 degrees in the house is just a bit on the cool side for my tastes. The weekend went reasonably well by my standards, but I'm wondering what the supers will say at our every other weekly meeting on Friday. I feels o caught between providing good patient care and meeting the productivity and management expectations of the supers. Maybe it's time to get out of nursing and go to work at something where I won't have to worry about all this crap anymore. Something simple like nuclear physics or underwater basket weaving. Arrgghhh, time will tell.

NM, I am not so sure George's wife knows about any of this. You see, when we joined as partners, we both put in X amount of $$$. George got his from monies that were being saved from his DD's college fund. So it was always said, to not mention any of that to the Mrs. Now, how she would not know this, is beyond me. But, maybe she doesn't and that is one of the reasons George is so angry? I don't know, but shall find out Wednesday!

Just took Aubret to camp. She is going to her favorite camp this week, Camp Hi-Ho. Only let her go one week out of the summer, cause it's so expenive, and this is the week! The owners are Jenniffer Lawrence's family (The Hunger Games) and they run the show. Kinda cool, her Dad and brother do alll the work.
Now, came home to grab a few things, then heading out to the gym, just thought I'd check in. I have decided to quit pecking at the keyboard and use the typing skills I learned in the ninth grade. Yep, that's right, got both hands and all fingers. left on the asdf, right on the jkl;, it's all coming back. Hopefully I can get quicker at typing and keep up with you guys!
