The pics are fascinating Bernie...Love the royals..DH was all into it durring the royal wedding hype.... she had a big crush on William.

Juliet..it looks like either Port Charlotte or Punta Gorda is halfway to Cape Coral..am I about right? We should meet up ...I havent been to Orlando in years..I think proably 12 or 13 even...Animal Kingdom wasnt built yet..I dont think...its been a long time.and even longer for Epcot...proably more like 20 years for that ..Ive never been to Universal but would love to visit that new Harry Potter area...Not for this trip tho...another time for that.  NM...thats coooooollld...burrr....funny about the lunar loonies.....I say that all the time ..when is the full moon again?

Lori that has to be the most interesting idea for a fence I have ever seen..what a neat idea..who on earth thought that up?  Its great!  How close are your neighbors?  What do you grow in your garden area??  I wasnt able to grow much of anything out there but I did live in a condo and I was trying to grow stuff in pots. Working at home I dont have to worry about using the internet because I have my personal lap top set up durring the day right next to my work computer..I dont use my work computer for anything other than work ... well, thats not completely true..I dont use it for social network stuff.

omg..Allie....Little house was a favorite back in the day...Andy Griffith also...who would have thought Opie would grow up to be so successful.   How funny with the typing...Thats one class I really remember well and one I actually learned something in...I think its called Keyboarding nowadays.

Sue, that tubal chaos and RB have opened my eyes to a lot of things and I think even making me a better person in some respects...I like myself more because of it.  the hair curly on one side and not the other is funny.

Lordy it took me long to write this....better send it on its way before the gremlin decides to eat it.

Bernie, thank you for sharing the pictures and I agree, she could have at least smiled. Did you attend?

Cyn, my husband thought of it. We needed something solid so the deer wouldn't jump it. I have flowers, tomatoes, onions, a few beans, cabbage and green peppers. I'll try to take more pictures of the garden and share.

Hey ladies!  Way too many pages, just a quick check in hoping all is well with all of youse.

Have been way down the rabbit hole the last week - stomach troubles then just me troubles.  Feeling pretty low.  Was off Thursday and Friday from work.  Had to come in today, because I go in tomorrow for clean up procuedure with the plastic surgeon.  Back again in 2 weeks for the other side.

hanging on, but not by much.  More later...

Mema--that 7 degrees may not make much difference to you, but here that would take today's 54 to 61 degrees, and that is MUCH better!

Goldie--that George's wife doesn't know about the way George is using the college fund $$$ is George's problem, not yours!!! I'm betting that she doesn't know but is about to find out! If not now, then when their DD is ready for college he'll have some 'splainin' to do!

Ms. Vino--I'm disappointed about my church closing, but more upset about losing touch with the people I met there. I can (and do) pray anywhere, and love to visit the inflatable chapel. Not sure what I want to do about church now, most churches are not very welcoming of single adult women--not that they don't welcome me, but the concerns about propriety and proper behavior makes full participation difficult and awkward. I need to find out where the others are going and try out the places they choose. I know life is full of change, but this is getting crazy!

Bernie-- I caught a moment or 2 of the flotilla on TV this am, going to look for more coverage and check it out. That isn't her real crown on the cake, is it??? If it is, that is one BIG cake! The crown is beautiful. I've always thought the Queen looks elegant whenever I see her or pictures of her. A smile would have been nice, true, but maybe the photo was taken between smiles?

CynCyn--according to my atomic clock on the wall, the full moon is tonight or tomorrow night. A close call for the weekend!

Goldie-- isn't it amazing how 2 large dogs can easily fit on a bed until a human being tries to get into it, and then BOTH dogs need 3/4 of the bed, each! Dogs always have been able to defy the laws of physics.

Wahine--the 'storms' here are just rain. As in 5 to 6 inches over the day yesterday and again last night. No really strong wind, no lightning or anything damaging. Just soggy and raw/cold. I should NOT be having to turn on the furnace in JUNE!!!!!!!

Scuby--hang on hangin' on, sounds like you've had a lot on your plate. I hope the clean up work is relatively minor? Check in when you can.

Hooray for Mema and Wahine getting to meet up tomorry!!!!!!

    Happy MOnkeYdeY goils!

Suz, so happy dat you get to meet Katwinka tomorree. I hope one of you take pictures. I have not seen a photo of you since yer hair is growing back. Where are you goils meeting? I wanted to tail ya that Stella is on her way for de big meet. I know you did not invite her but as you know, she has a mind of her own and does what she wants.

Scuby, wese will come and be with you tomorree if you want. Question - why is de PS doing your "clean up" procedures separately? And do you have to go to the hospital for this or is it in de PS office? I am not sure what exactly you are having done but guessing you have to go to sleep for the procedures. I am sorry you are feeling down, I am praying for you to feel better.

NM, I am sorry to hear your church is closing its doors. I think I am more sad than you are. I hope you are able to find a church where you feel at home.  A good congregetion will welcome you with open arms regardless of your marital status. I am not sure if you will consider, but I have found that the congregation of non-demonination churches accept everybody despite marital status, social status etc. For now, the HTL chapel is there for you. I hope you put your heat on girl. I do not care what month it is when it comes to comfort. A blast of heat will not kill you and I am sure your Sadie likes it warm. I bet she is mad that she can not play outside.  It is cool here too, in the low 60's. I ain't complaining through, it is free climate control for mese house.

Bernie, I put on de news tonight to find out what is going on with the Queen. That Royal Barge is something else, very beautiful. Thanks for posting all those beautiful and colorful pics. Sorry but I do not care for the Queen Mum's dress, her hat makes her look a bit like de Pillsbury dough boy. Don't tell her I said that. Oh, I jest heard a blump on de local news about de Queen and thought the news caster mentioned a Diamond Jubilee? I will keep watching to find out more.

Cyndie, do you work from home all the time or jest while you are having treatment? I would LOVE to work from home. For me, there is no place like home. I tailed Stella that she is going to Disney World but tailed her CynCyn will not take her is she is not a good goil between now and then. Will this be your kids first time there?

Lori, OMG, Mrs. George does not know that Mr.George spend their DD's college fund? How old is the daughter now? NM is right, this is getting interesting. I viewed both of your videos today. I thought I had seen them before as I thought you narrated both. You both did a great job on your home. It looks so cozy and comfy and like a great place to dwink. And de Shady Lady HAS to be the most original fence in the USA. You do a great job in growing flowers and veggies. I would not think that the dessert is the best place to try to grow anything outdoors. You surely have a green thumb. And I tink we need to give your mission a name....I will have to tink about a good one. I sure hope it goes as planned on humpdey for you and DH. I will be there, jest not sure if I wanna be in your DH pocket hehe. I tink I will be more comfy in your handbag.

KatrwinkaVegasbaby, at first when you talked about de Miss USA goils being there, I thought to mese self "self, why would de be in Vegas". But den remembered that the Miss USA pageant is no longer in Atlantic City. Will you have internet access in your room? I am glad you were able to check in. If ennyone gibs you a hastle while in de computer room, you tell them that you must report to the HTL and push de others off de chair and tell them they were finished hehe!

Alli, I hope you enjoy your week of being childless. I think that summer camp is a great experience for kids. And a better experience for us Moms! Good for you in practicing typing instead of peckering. And funny, they call it keyboarding, makes sense. I remember taking typing in high school and I had a few upper classman in our class who were bad kids. One of the boys had gotten thrown out of a Catholic HS nearby in the first week. Well our teacher was a very old sweet little lady who was not even 5 ft. tall. I remember the beginning of the year when she had us all doing the ASDF, JKL; and these boys started stomping their feets as we all typed the letters. Before I knew it, I was on board and most of my class mates were also stomping their feet. A teacher from the class room next to us came in to find out what de hail was going on. I tink lil Miss Williams was glad to see him as she was so flustered and everyone was laughing so hard, we could not hear her when she said to stop doing that. I was so glad I took typing. That ws the time when electric typewriters were the biggest thing lol.

Well I am going to check the weather and see if the rain can hold off long enough for me to cook on the grill. I love grilled food so much.

Ennybuddy here for Happy Hour? Mine started two hours ago. I am very frustrated with my disability people and my PS office for causing me to be in "unpaid" status. The problem is with my PS office. I was told they are too busy and I have to just leave a voice mail. The gal there has had these forms for a month now. Dis is why I tank God todey for likker!!

    Cheers!!

Hi girls! I posted in the hair section, but thought I'd post here too. I'm seeing a lot of hair shed lately. It's been about 20 months since I started growing hair back from chemo. Ive had some hair shed, but it seems the past couple weeks it's shedding a lot. I was on an hour conference call and kept running my hands through my hair. I counted around 125 hairs that fell out! Yikes. I know hair grows in cycles. I just hope it doesn't get all thin. I really love how thick my hair was after chemo. I had a lot of hair before chemo, but it was really fine.

Oh my.....I wrote another novel that the gremlin ate....sigh...just dont have the energy to type it all again...I'll try and remember what I can.

NM...I was also going to suggest a nondenominational church  like the Unitarian Unaversalist..they accept lesbians so Im pretty sure they will accept a single woman but seeing where the others from your congregation are going is a good idea also then you will already know people.

Kath...Im excited for you to meet up with Sue tomoreey..have fun and a toast to the HTL.

Allie-oop...how are you making out withouth the kiddo around?  Summer camps are so great for kids to give structure and a social outlet during the months without school. I hope they dont make her forge for food (hunger games style).

Dorty..I look forward to taking stella to Disney with us...we will have so much fun!!  Im not buying her any wodka ...Im not eben buying myself any nattys...I figure a nice big box of wine may be more practical...(you didnt think I would do without did you?)... It will be DS1 first time there the other two have been..many years ago tho.  I do work form home all the time..Im a "Virtual" employee...it does beat a commute and I can work neked if I want...I dont..lol. ...

Scubby..hope you start feeling better..Im sorry you are down...will be thinking about you and praying that things go well for you and your spirites get uplifted soon.

I dont remember much more..Im sure there was..I feel like im forgetting something.

Kittycat - good to see ya pop inta da lounge.  Mese sad to hear you're losing so much hair....cud it be stress related, or are you on a new med?  Last surgery stress and the anesthesia may be big contributors.  I hope it calms down soon!!

CynCyn - hate when da gremlin eats da posts.  happens to me lots...stinkin puter!  Do you go on da rides...like da big scary ones, wif your kids?  I love dat kinda stuff...not DH...I'd jump outta de plane de plane...if given half a chance!!...LOL.  Well with a parachute of course!!!

Hi goils, don't foyget tomorrow is twosdey, I did. I thought it was todey which is why mese on my 6th dwink. Dat cuz mese foygot and am dwinking two at a time. Cheers!

Kittycat, I think it is normal to lose more hair as we get older. And the hormone changes probably have a lot to do with that too. I would not think it is from the after affects of chemo. I have a lot of hair but have been shedding quite a bit myself. I tink de cure is to dwink lots more. As if.....hehe!

Cyndie, sarwy dat your post nessapeared. I truly tink it is a conspiracy to make us dwunken goils crazy. I used to be able to find them most of the time until BCO changed the format. And dey wonder why mese dwink so much! And you got me --- for a minute dere, I thought you were going to go without likker for yer disney twip. Twust me, Stella will dwive you to buy her wodka and dwive you to dwink heabily.

Mema, wese gladliest that you will use a parashoot if you jump from de plane. De plane de plane. Oops, dat was random. hehe. Wese been dwinking since early todey (mese and Mema dat is). So scuuuuuze us if wese pass out). I bet Kathy bese so happy to meat Stella. But on second taught, mese not so shirleyest if KAtwInkaINVEGAS will be able to tolerate her badness. She nebber offered to take de Stella. SHe scared dat Stella will tell all. If only dat goil could keep her pie whole chut, she may be welcomed by de Wahinimeister. You might jest ask her if she is okey will STella coming -mese don't wanna have de wawa noyvous ober eberyting she sez knowing it might be wepeated. Does she still twash tawk mese? She act like she don't lub me but I know she does.

I am stressing over this disability ting. Mese scared dey gonna make me go to werk before mese ready and able. I could do it if I had to. I am tinking bout part time for a bit jest to ensure my werk people do not immediately slam me and have me again werking 12 hours deys. I am jest not up for dat. Please say prayers that de doctor is willling to keep me out at least two more weeks. I want four more but I know dat is pushing it. I often feel that the docs dont understand that I am not going to feel well as quickly as someone who has only been opened and closed a few times. I've had seven major soygeries on my left side (de chitty titty side) and I have not gone without feeling pain since my BMX.

And guess what? De foyst was de two year mark in getting my dx. I did not bremember on dat dey althought I did tink about it during the Memorial Dey weekend.

Well I need anudder two dwinks. Mr. Big, get me a stiff one. No no, not yer bigness, mese talking likker you silly boy!!

Rounds for all yese. We is sailabrating de Queen.

Since I have a wee bit of OCD (ok a lot), I looked up side effects of Singulair and hair loss. Lots of women were complaining about it online even though Merck doesn't show it as a side effect. There was a study done on it, too and about 1% of people had hair loss with taking Singulair. Since I'm not good with odds (in the less than 1% of women who get bc after a bmx for Dcis) I figured that Singulair may be my issue. I just started taking it last week for my hardened foob. Well I'd rather have a hard foob than no hair. I forgot to take the darn pill today and I do t think I'm going to take it anymore!!!! Stupid drugs!

Dork is right. Best cure is to drink and forget about my woes! LOL! Seriously Dork, 7 surgeries on your bad foob??? You are up there with me, but don't have them listed and take up the whole page in your signature like me. LOL!!! And I hope you get a few more weeks off work. You deserve it!

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee has become the center of attraction for the luxury world and the Britons alike. The experts predictions says the Britons will splurge out as much as £823 millions to ring in the Queen's coronation, while spending on patriotic souvenirs, and other special edition items designed to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. We have earlier told you about the John Walker Diamond Jubilee Scotch Whisky, and now Davide Guidi, the Amaranto Bar Manger at Four Seasons London, has created the ultimate celebration cocktail, the Diamond Jubilee Fizz that sells at $15,362.

Good morning, Loungettes! Having a cup of coffee before going in for boring meeting. Got to get on the stick and get the house cleaned up when I get home, it's another damp, dreary day and a good day to work inside. Got to run a couple of errands while I'm out, too. Hopefully I'll get more done today than I did yesterday!

DorKable--There is a church that is being recommended for us to go to, I will try that one, if I ever get a Sunday when I can go to church again. I will look into interdenominational churches, too. One big issue is that this is a rural area and I don't really want to drive a long distance to go to church, I tend to use that as an excuse not to go. I'll find someplace, but it makes it even more imperative that I get off this every weekend job. I did give in and turn the furnace on. It's up to 60 in the house, this I can deal with, especially if I'm moving around. And Sadie can still play outside, she just has to ask to go out, and she does frequently. She's not fond of playing in the rain, but she did play out fairly often yesterday.

Kittycat--Hair does grow in cycles, and chemo resets the cycle on a lot of hair follicles. If the bulk of your follicles are cycling through dormancy, or you have had a stressful time recently you will see a bigger hair shed than usual. I know it must be upsetting, but I'm pretty sure it won't get thin. Have you started taking any new medications recently? That will trigger a hair shed, too. Hold on, my dear, I bet no one else is noticing a thing!

CynCyn--AARRGGHHH! The post gremlin hits again! So upsetting! Good point about where others from church are going. I'm going to check with a couple of friends and see what their plans are. I wish I could find a work from home job! Maybe I need to look into that option. . .

Mema--Love the pic! Great to remember, I need to remember that one, too.

DorKable--cancer is considered a disability under the Amercans with Disabilities Act. Employers MUST make reasonable accommodations, and letting someone come back to work in a step wise fashion is one of those accommodations. They do that for employees with physical injuries, so they have to do it for us. Talk with one of your docs about getting a script that specifies what you can and cannot do, what your work time limits are, etc. And you are right, it takes longer to recover completely after having repeated surgeries. Remind your doc of that, if you have to!

Bernie--I'm looking at the pics you posted and behind me on the TV is a report on the concert. What a PARTAY!

Today is the day, Kathy and Sue......have an awesome time! Kathy, glad you checked in and made it safely. May the Gambling Gods be kind to you! Dorky is too funny, tailing you to push the others off their chairs so you can have the puter to check in to the HTL!

Oh Lisa, so sorry to hear this. We shall be with you for your surgery. Is this unexpected? Please come out of dat hole, it is NOT a good place to be.

NM, the daughter just graduated HS, so college is just around the corner! Tomorrow will def. be interesting, however I will not be there. Staying back at the hotel to work. Plus I can't take the heat in Phoenix. Churches judge you on your marital status???

OMG DorK, the Pillsbury Dough Boy, that is too funny. Also, no need to stay in my handbag, like I said above, I won't be there. So hang with me and we can drink! As for growing, it involves a lot of soil amending. The dirt here has NO nutrients in it what so ever. And chit chit chit on your employer not paying you and the PS office for not taking care of the paperwork. I will send your people to take care of it and make sure you have plenty of JD and Coke. I am calling our shindig a "blindside". We do fist bumps, make explode and then say "take im out". I tink I posted dat already.

LOL Heather, sawry, but I found it funny how you counted your hairs, but understand. My hair started falling out, reason was my thyroid was off. Which I think is a result of the radiation. Since being on medication it doesn't come out as much, but still more than I think is normal. I like Dork's suggestion, "drink more".

Cyn, that darn gremlin, I just hate that. I usually make my posts in "Word" first, then copy and paste to the lounge. DH works in his undies sometimes, and I don't always look my bestest either.

Mema, Yay.........Stella made it and she gets to meet Wawa too. And YES, do take a parachute when you jump outta da plane.

Julie, tank ewe foy da pretzels!

Bernie, you gots the Queen to smile this time. I think its cuz she likes dis dress and doesn't look like the Pillsbury Dough Boy.

Leaving today around 11 this ayem.

Good Morning Loungettes...I was on my way into the HTL...bummped into Lori on the way
and was right behind her when duty called at work and needed to attend to some business
...better late than nevah..think I will have to try a glass of Bernies punch...enee thing
including lemonade in the summer months goes down well for me..but only one foah now
its still too early forah me..I enjoyed seeing all that Qeen Jubilee stuff..how exciting to
actually live in the part of the world this is taking place. Im glad to see a picture of a
smiling queen with no funny hat.  How old is she?

I dont blame you NM for turing on your furnace...but 60 to me is still cold..My blood has
thinned since I've lived in a warm climate so long..I may be in for a culture shock in Aug
when I visit..I may have to bring a couple sweaters.  Working from home does have
disadvantages also one being the social aspect..it gets lonley ..

Im with you Lori...I'll stay with you and Dorty keeping you company while DH goes and
does his thing..we'll drink too..umm..we'll find sumtin .  I wish DH luck tho ...I cannot
believe George used college $ of his daughters...ouchie...he will get found out when she
goes to use it. Im surprised she hasnt already considering she has graduated.

Hoping Kathy and Sue have a fun visit...

Hi Chrissy, or rather nitey nite! Sleep tite!

Dork an CynCyn, Aubrey goes to camp each morning, comes home every night. Just day camps. They have a big parent child cookout on Friday, and the kids that want to perform in a talent  show. Aubrey always sing every year, the first year she sang My Old Kentucky home, brought lots of us to tears. As for our nights, she is on the swimteam, so that is all consuming with practices and meets. First meet was last night, it was cold and raining, didn't get home til 11:00! Kids didn't seem to mind though.

Cyndie, don't go to Magic Kingdom at night, no alcohol served in that park at night, lol. Have fun!

Lori, I  wanna come hang out with ya during the "blindside" too, K?

WaWa and Sue, have fun, and post pics!

Kitty, hate dat about your hair. I took singulair for allergies and asthma briefly, gave me headaches

(((((Scuby))))) we will all be with you today. Sending prayers your way to get well soon, in EVERY way, K?

Bernie, the punch is tasty, thanks, but here in the HTL we have access to that $15,000 chit, so that's what I'm having!

BBl, my appointment just showed up earlly, dangit! But I did type this much quicker, using my "keyboarding" skills
