    oh geesh you guys.........i wanted a new cell phone so i could give my dtr my old one and get her on the family and friends program..........well elvis just came home with my new one.

    i tried beer and percs after last mast in june.......really really bad idea!

    and yes, i just looked, it is a rayzor phone.......i'll never figure out all the crap on it lol........i can't friggin figure out this damn computer as it is!!!!!!

    No, Shel, as a matter of fact I met an older (50!) man the other night and he REALLY likes me - of course! He's nice looking, fit (no belly that I could detect! ) and we kissed and kissed and kissed and it was wonderful! We spoke this evening and he REALLY wants to see me again but I'm busy this week and he's busy next week so it's going to be a while before we kiss again. He has a cat which is a complication since I'm deathly allergic to them so if (when?) 'something' happens it's either going to be a a nice hotel (my preference) or my house (not gonna happen) so it seems until my next date with ANOTHER new man tomorrow night (oh, that Jason sure doesn't cross my mind very often anymore) I shall remain celibate.

    And that's what I've been doing - lining up dates! But still drinking when I can!

    oh, and cat allergies suck, but can be alleviated sometimes with antihistamines lol........or really posh hotel suites (till he gets rid of the cat lol)

    Really??? Does that mean I shouldn't drink when taking Vicodin??? If my liver can't handle that combo then I guess I'll have to give one of them up - NOT!

    Yes, I did suggest letting the cat out 'accidently' (sorry all you cat lovers) but he dais his daughter's would be upset. Seems he inherited the cat from the ex-wife fairly recently. This is the main reason (kids AND ex-wives) I never used to date men with children but I'm just looking for a good time so I could care less about the cat, kids, ex-wife or whatever! Just feed me and.....

    Now, my date tomorrow night is younger (36) and I'm really looking forward to that since we're going to my fave fish restaurant. I'll report back on that one, too!

    Hey Janis, good to have you back on the boards. I was beginning to get a little worried myself.

    You guys all stay up so late, I have to catch up in the morning. I can't sleep either, but I would be a real mess if I stayed at the computer half the night. I just stopped taking Simply Sleep because it was causing me to zone out when I was driving. Not good ! Alcohol makes me go to sleep, but I wake up around 2 am. Sucks!! I need to come up with a great tasting cocktail that will keep me out for the entire night. Martini flavored Ambien? Hmmmmmm......Nope, can't take Ambien, makes me hallucinate. Oh wait, maybe that's a good thing .

    Welcome back Janis. It sounds like you have a very active social life. That is great!!

    I get it now! Hardeeharhar ! You really are pretty quick with your humor. I am envious. I used to be quick before tx, but now I suck. If I'm drinking with my buddies I can be pretty funny, but on the computer I am too slow. When I'm drinking and posting, it takes forever to type and I make thousands of typos that I have to go back and fix.
    Oh, the person in the middle is me. The poor woman on the left is my older, homelier sister .

    Jan - that girl in the middle, Barbie's sister, she might be something to look at, if that is what you like, but she probably has a box of rocks for brains,lol. Just kiddin', but I really think the "older" sister looks like way more fun!

    Ah, the older sis is way more fun. I don't think I could walk around looking like that every day. The pressure !! I'll bet she isn't near that good without makeup. Oh, now I'm sounding catty. She was actually very sweet, but I still have more fun !

    Hey drinkin' buds, I'm still around. Just taking a little break from the boards.

    Today was officially declared 'Donna Day" by me, for me, in appreciation of me

    Took a PTO day to just be lazy, hang at the apt pool, do a little cleaning....and drinking an Amber Bock right now!

    Janis - sounds like you've got a hot one...can't wait to hear back about the older guy. I'll be looking for your posts on the mojo thread

    1. WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHERE OUR PURSE IS.

    2. WE BELIEVE THAT DANCING WITH OUR ARMS OVERHEAD AND WIGGLING
    OUR BUTT WHILE YELLING "WOO-HOO!" IS TRULY THE SEXIEST DANCE
    MOVE AROUND.

    3. WE'VE SUDDENLY DECIDED THAT WE WANT TO KICK SOMEONE'S ASS
    AND HONESTLY BELIEVE WE COULD DO IT TOO.

    4. IN OUR LAST TRIP TO PEE, WE REALIZE THAT WE NOW LOOK
    MORE LIKE A HOMELESS HOOKER THAN THE GODDESS WE WERE
    JUST FOUR HOURS AGO

    5. WE START CRYING AND TELLING EVERYONE WE SEE THAT WE
    LOVE THEM SOOOOO MUCH.

    6. WE GET EXTREMELY EXCITED AND JUMP UP AND DOWN EVERY TIME A
    NEW SONG PLAY'S BECAUSE "OH MY GOD! I LOVE THIS SONG!"

    7. WE'VE FOUND A DEEPER/SPIRITUAL SIDE TO THE GEEK SITTING
    NEXT TO US.

    8. WE'VE SUDDENLY TAKEN UP SMOKING AND BECOME REALLY GOOD
    AT IT.

    9. WE YELL AT THE BARTENDER, WHO WE BELIEVE CHEATED US BY
    GIVING US JUST LEMONADE, BUT THAT'S JUST BECAUSE WE CAN
    NO LONGER TASTE THE GIN.

    10. WE THINK WE ARE IN BED, BUT OUR PILLOW FEELS STRANGELY
    LIKE THE KITCHEN FLOOR (or the mop?)

    11. WE FAIL TO NOTICE THAT THE TOILET LID'S DOWN WHEN WE SIT
    ON IT.

    12. WE TAKE OUR SHOES OFF BECAUSE WE BELIEVE IT'S THEIR
    FAULT THAT WE'RE HAVING PROBLEMS WALKING STRAIGHT.

    Donna, do I have to post my 'fun' on the MOJO thread??? Anyway my date tonight was good. He's a keeper! Dinner was excellent and the kissing afterwards was, too. Another man who wants to get into my pants! How long am I supposed to wait? We have tentative plans next wednesday - and he doesn't have a cat!!!

    I'm off to bed as tomorrow is another busy work day! Cheers ladies - I'll have to catch you all on Saturday night!

    Janis - glad to hear you had a nice dinner AND nice kissing afterwards. As far as when to 'give it up' I think that all depends on how you both feel about it, and how long it's been since you 'gave it up'. As you know, I 'gave it up' on the second date with current BF. Then again, I WAS a born-again virgin, having gone TWO YEARS without a partner (other than myself). You're both consenting adults - give it up whenever you damn well please. (or get too drunk and inadvertently 'give it up')

    And of course you don't have to go to the mojo thread to post your fun. Post it right here, where all us drinkin' buddies can kick back with a beverage and hear all about it!!

    i was a horrible dater when i was separated. i never knew if it was time to give it up or not and wound up usually, just having "sex with the ex".........i'm such a wimp! (although there was one guy.........30, built like an adonis, ..........turned out to be a pothead, but he was fun for a while)

    i'll be tuning in on saturday night, just in case there are any new developments lol!
