Good morning, Loungettes! I've got good news from work, for a change. They're going to let me skip out of the boring Tuesday morning meetings (that now last about 15 minutes)! So I have today TOTALLY off! Got to sleep in, and spend a leisurely morning playing on the computer and dwinking coffee. WOOT WOOT...............I am caught up with reading and back in de lounge! Not caught up with orders yet, but I think we will be today. Did a gazillion orders yesterday, and we can't figure out how in the world George was doing things. The boxes are all wrong, some orders took way to long, as we couldn't find the right size box and some were way to big for our heavy rolls of soaker hose. UPS sent out an empty truck to pick things up! The two days we were in Phx, George was offered, by the attorney, to sign papers. He wanted nothing to do with it, wouldn't even look at the papers. Then on our way to doctor appts, he calls my husband and says he wants to see the papers. Well, too F'ing bad, you had your chance. We don't have time to play games, we have to get things moved and organized. Once we are done with that, then maybe.

Good morning loungettes!
Happy twosdey to all. I am enjoying the first cup of morning coffee in a long time. I have not had the stomach for coffee in the morning lately which is very odd for me. I really think that the stress of the disability thing was making me sick. I got everything straightened out yesterday. Seems that the doc made an error and had my return date on the form of 5/25 which was less than a week post surgery. The goil from the docs office finally called back yesterdey and indicated that it should have been 6/25. I was getting so freaked out as I was getting different info each time I called and spoke with a member of my case manager's team.
I am still not quite satisfied with my results but think I am gonna learn to live with a droopy foob.
It is a cloud cool day here and we are expecting rain for the next few days. It is all good to me as I have no where to go anyway and my grass is thirsty too.
Welcome Belinda, I hope you hang out with us. It will be nice to have another right coast goil in de lounge!
NM, loved your post, glad your pics are back up although I enjoyed your rhyme time. Loved the pic of the lil nana's you posted for Mema! Question, my DD started running a fever again yesterday. She went to take a test and was planning to go to the gym after but came home saying she did not feel well again. I told her to REST REST REST and further told her she was a fool for thinking about working out so soon. But she went to class today. I worry about her as it is a four hour statistics class and she left before I got up. Anywho, do you think I should call her doctor again? She started the anti b's on Friday. Your advise is always greatly appreciated. And yippee for you in not having to make that meeting. Have fun cleaning and organizing and don't forget to stop and have some dwinks!

I did a bad thing today and called in sick...I have never called in sick at this job and I was doing so well with RB and work but this morning I just felt way to much like poo. I slept until 2pm..Must have needed it.

Welcome to the new galz, grab a barstool and stay awhile, and let us get to know you! You will LOVE this place!!!! Still having a great time in Vegas....can't wait for the partay for CynCyn! Not sure if we will get wifi at the airport, but I will be there with you all, virtually anyway. Then catching the redeye and getting home around noon tamarra. We have had a blast, and its been fun being in Vegas, than California, then back in Vegas. LOVE the pools at Monte Carlo, really been fun!!!
Will have to ketchup on all the cartoons and funnies that Bernie and Juliet provide us! I will prolly have a gazillion pages to ketchup on. HOPE you are all doing well, and remember don't spoil the TT's, they are here to serve US!!! One summer we stayed in my bro's godparents mansion in HI (in Nuuanu Valley, by where some of that recent movie was filmed), and they had a maid, and a cook and of course we were not used to that, so thanked them profusely for all they did. When the owners returned they said we spoiled their asian helpers!!! They had so many cars (rolls, bentley, etc) that my mom had to be sure she drove each one. The bus stop was out in front of the yard, but we had to leave so early to walk to the front of the property as it was so big. Years later, it was subdivided, and now there are several residences on that property. But it is still beautiful!
Miss you girlz, and can't wait till I have time to ketchup, and hope to be able to. Never did have time after our Ireland trip, but will really try. My dad had his surgery yesterday, and has 2, 3" incisions, so lots of stitches, and in pain, but they got clear margins...yay!! Thanks for all your concern and prayers!!!

Good afternoon, Loungettes! Got lots of yard work done today, and puttered in the poor, overgrown garden some. Am incredibly tired, more so that I think I should be, not sure what that's all about. I'll sleep well tonight, that's for sure!
Goldie--Good for you for not giving in to George! I'm sure you'll get all the orders straightened out quickly, and I'm amazed that you needed your own UPS truck! Hooray!
DorKable--I'm glad your system is in better shape, not being able to drink coffee is such a bad sign! And it's scary when the doctor's office, responsible for so much scheduling and paperwork filing, gets a date so wrong and doesn't pick it up for so long! No wonder you were getting freaked! I do wish you were happier with the results, though. Even when on antibiotics the body's own immune system is still working to kill off the bacteria. One of the body's most effective ways of doing that is to run a fever since most bacteria that makes us sick cannot live outside of a very narrow temperature window. If she's still running a temp her body is still using a lot of energy to fight off the infection, and she would be wise to stay home and rest until all symptoms are gone. Otherwise her body will need more time to throw it off and repair the damage and she'll be sick longer. Working out should be totally out of the picture for the next 14 days at least. Going back to school shouldn't be thought about until no fever for 72 hours. Not to mention that if she's running a fever she's probably still contagious.
Chrissy--It was really nice not to have to run into town for the 15 minute meeting today, that's for sure!Juliet--LMAO!
CynCyn--calling in sick is NOT a bad thing. It's a necessary thing, sometimes. If you slept until 2 PM, you needed the rest!

Happy Twosdey. Jest so much going on here and not a good day at de Klein household.
It is time to admit that my surgery was a failure. I was comparing photos or mese foobs before the latest surgery, right after and now and the foob is nearly drooped to the point it was. I have to face this reality that not only was the surgery a waste of money and gave me a wooping for nothing but it also messed things up for me financially and jobwise. But that is not de worst of my day.
My cleaning lady/sister came over and made my house sparkle. But what we discovered has made me berry berry angry. My DD and her widdle puppy in big twouble.
So top the day off with a three hour internet and phone outage, then 30 minutes on the phone with Comcast, I am ready to jump in the pool with weights on my legs.
So thank you for hearing me. I am parked at the fukitol fountain and having the tenders bring me some percotinis. And a valium and two more twosdey dwinks.
Cyn, you right, this partay can not come soon enough.....it is starting now, how bout that?????

Ingredients
One 12-ounce can frozen apple-juice concentrate
1 liter bottle chilled ginger ale
2 liter bottles chilled club soda
1 12-ounce can frozen raspberry-cranberry-juice cocktail concentrate
1 12-ounce can frozen cranberry-juice cocktail concentrate
3 cups chilled vodka
1 12-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate
2 cups cold water
ProcessCombine frozen concentrates in a larger punch bowl. Beat and mix well and keep in the refrigerator until it becomes completely chilled. While serving, add ginger ale, water, vodka and club soda. Do not forget to put plenty of ice on top.
