i was upset when i couldn't have grapefruit anymore but if they told me no alcohol then i would really have to think about that particular treatment!,lost some turtle nests down here ,lots of beach erosion too . have a wonderful time in disney wish i could come too,

Caaaaallllllmmmmm down is the saying around the campfire tonight. and screw the No drinking rule. I guess is what the doc said was that I could have one or two drinks on the weekend like I used to enjoy.........HA.........little does he know.
I never used to sit and enjoy a drink of wine unless it was one or two BOTTLES. Beer? I even like more with my Irish and Bohemian blood and vodka or captain? Well! I would sail that ship any day.
So maybe I under estimated what the doc was really telling me. I guess St Pats day was the last big drunk I went on and it took me 2-3 days to fully recover. But then I got to thinking tonight.....thats about how long it took all my drinking buddies also. SO really Im doing pretty gooooood.
I just want to be back to the point of sassy, sometimes pissy, a little on the wild side and more carefree and worry free life that I use to have. I do love the positive and more healthy life this has brought me. But when people treat you different sometimes its hard to take.

Welcome to the lounge, Cindi with an I. I have also not been told not to drink and I take tamoxifen. While I used to dwink heabier before BC, I dwink heabier yet after. Why you ask? Because I want to and because I need to. If they took away mese likker, dey might as well take away my food and let me wither away to nada. So dwink up~!

Sorry i left de partay early. I passed out. Yep. Dwank too much. Really was just super fatigued last night. I came home in a great mood though, always a sense of accomplishment getting back to work. And mese jest remembered yesterday that there is a holiday in de middle of next week, yippee, July 4th partay.
I have a sick doggy here, started on thirsdey night. My little Isabella has been puking and has a leaky butt. I am started to get berry concerned as her butt is now leaking bloody stuff. I would be berry freaked out but I went through this with another dog in the past and it was jest severe gastritis. She is eating and drinking which is good, but not holding anyting down. And I hear her widdle belly grumbling as I sit here. I made her rice for breakfast but her belly still making lotsa noise, my poor widdle baby doggy.
Well I just cracked open a miller light cuz de sailabration of Junie continues through de weekend.
Love you girls, really do. And I hope Cindi, you will stay and partay with all goils agen. This is a great place to come and dwink. And also get lots of support and love.....I can feel de love right now!!

Picked up my GS's today and they are with me for the next week. First week of the school hols and then I take them home and pick up the youngest of the other two for the following week. I love having them but I'm going to be pooped by the end of the next two weeks.....lol......think I'm gonna hafta double my nightly glass of wine.

Chrissy- yay, so good to see you. How's tings down under? So fercited that you get to see your GS's! I know you will be exhausted but it will be worth it. Isabella says thanks for the pat on my head, Auntie Chrissy. Her tummy has quieted down since I gave her the rice. But my other dog just threw up all over my kitchen. Good thing that I had not yet mopped the floor. I jest did some saturdey cleaning and was glad that i had not yet mopped my kitchen floor.
Chrissy, I have a hug for ya, feel it?? I love ya lady and wish I could see you. maybe we can try skyping sometime but you would have to tail me what to do. Wanna come with me for a bite to eat and some dwinkies?? I got more hugs and a kiss for ya too, dat cuz I loves ya berry much.
I am getting my hair cut at 1pm and can not wait to get these bangs outta my face. I missed getting the cut last week cuz I was late and the salon closes at 3pm on saturdeys. I sacrificed the haircut for the color as that was needed much more. my roots where all white and I had an inch of regrowth, ewww. The bruises from my fall last saturday are getting better and turning yellow. I still have a knot on my knee. It does not bother me walking but is very tender to touch. I tink I told you goils that I fell face down last saturdey while crossing over the doggie gate in mese house. I fell so hard, I feel lucky that I did not end up in mese crawl space under de house! but dat what I git for dwinking all dey and all night too!!
I am going to wander into the breakfast buffet and see what the wenches are cooking up, sumting smells good and I want some. Smells like eggs and toast, yum. I like de liquid breakfast but my tummy wants a widdle bit of nourishment so I can hold mese likker!!!

Dotty good that Isabella is starting to feel a little better and awe for the other little girl getting the upset tum too. Boiled rice for her as well and I'd keep both of them on the boiled rice and chicken diet for a few days so their insides can heal.

Morning!! I slept better last night, but still feel like I could sleep another 5 or 6 hours. But I'm gonna go the the pewl and exercise, mayb make me feel better. Den hafta go to store (hate it), den gotta make salsa and zuc bread or lose those pretty maters and dat HUGE zuc.
DorKa - glad da fur babies feeling a bit bettter dis morning. I LOVE my hi-lites! Asked her to cut a little around my ears but she didn't cut enuf but at least the 'wings' aren't as noticeable. Mese toes are a shiney lite mauve...now I jes gotta take care of my nails but won't bother til mid-week so they'll last while in Oregon.
Chrissyb - Hi, Great advice about da pooches tummy. Will have to remember boiled rice/chicken. Have fun with the GS's. I'm not sure I'm fully recovered after having my gk's a few weeks ago. DH jes downloaded Skyp...will hafta play with it and git back to you.
About the drinking too, both my docs said a couple glasses of wine PER WEEK. But I ignored, and it had nothing to do with my meds either, they told me this on dx not later. Course, during TCH, taste buds sooo 'off' could only manage 1 or 2 dwinks and only on some weeks. Wine is not my likker of choice either. So when I felt good, I had me wodka, and since been dwinking at least one everyday.

I'm sitting here at Moe's southwest grill by myself, they have WiFi. Went to the gym and got my run in, then came here for a quick salad. They have great "real" food, no hormones and crap added, etc. very fresh and very good. Can't take my cup home with me, cause Aubrey will be mad I didn't bring her, she loves this place. Stella, dont tail on mese, K??
Well, July 3rd(Monday) will mark the one year anniversary of when I shaved my head. Well, actually all my friends took turns on the top of a houseboat in the middle of the lake. I didn't think it would fall out til the following week, as it hadn't been quite 2 weeks from my first chemo, but boy was I wrong. And once it started, I was obsessed with touching it. So we were at the lake, and my friends "took care" of it, lol. Wow, what a year it has been. So, been thinking of going to someone to have it trimmed, and help me style it while it's growing out, as right now I feel like one of the old ladies that come to our salon and get permed. Been looking at growing out hair styles on Internet, found some cute doos, but don't want anyone I work with to touch it. Well, my friend gave me the name of a girl who is supposed to be really good, so I just booked a cut and style with her. She got me in this Thursday, the 5th. Funny, a year and two days after having it shaved, I will be getting a trim :-). Hope the girls I work with don't get their feelings hurt, I just think someone who doesn't know me will be better suited to give me new ideas. Anyway, just wanted to share that with my peeps who get it! I just love y'all!
Oh, and Juliet, I only took tamoxifen briefly, but never heard about no grapefruit?? Really?

Having sick doggies made me think of my Mocha dog that I put down last year, I was thinking that the anniversary was coming up. When I checked, I realized I missed it, it was June 12. I had a tear in my eye remembering. I miss my BoBo as I called him. One doggie was sick again, plan on feeding them the rice and chicken for dinner.
It is time to get outside and enjoy de heat! If anyone needs me, I will be vegging on a raft! God I missed swimming so much! Yippeee for mese!!

mesef I follow my docs recommendations on da subject...there's a web site where
you can see what drugs are not compatible with tammy. Dang, I will hafta find
that again...I found it when I had allergies last year and I was all worried
about if benedryl was okay with tammy. Turns out benedryl wasn't okay so I
found another antihistamine that was compatible. I second Mrs V, dwink up!!!Howdy Bernie!!

I was all set to do the same 2 years ago, but didn't lose all my hairs, just
thinned. I was all ready tho with wigs and scarfs and my DH shaved his head. So

Dork-sorry to hear about your dogs,hope they get better and it's nothing serious. This is a bad weekend for dogs I guess. My moms dog was diagnosed w/parvo today and it's such a deadly illness for them. They give him 30% chance of making it but fingers crossed. Been down this road a long time ago and my other dog pulled thru. Here's hoping our irish luck kicks in soon for this little guy. Just got done bleaching my place and have to head to my moms to do the same w/floors,bedding and shoes. Not in a chatty mood so that's it.

Around here, we call the biggest wine glasses Stoner goblets, because my friend Angie Stoner has always picked out the largest glass in the house to drink wine from, so we named them Stoner goblets, lol. Mr. Bigger, can you please get us a round of miller lites in Stoner goblets?? Wese sailabrating Junie all weekend, so fill em up!
Had fun last night, we had a 4th of July neighborhood party, with bouncies, waterslide, food vendor, DJ, and lots of games, plus fireworks. Despite the heat, there was a pretty good turnout. Aubrey won the bike decorating contest! I will post a pic, and try to attatch it to this post.

Sue, I have taken large zucchini's, grated them for bread and freeze it. Then you have fresh for more bread later. So glad you LOVE you highlights. I can't wait to get mine done again.
Tanya, maybe you could let your friends know ahead of time, that you are getting your hair cut, and tell them what you told us. Then, no one gets their feelings hurt. Dealing with those curls is tough, especially if it's humid out, like my wedding. No matter what I did to it, it would just curl and frizz. Now, my hair on top is pretty much straight and the rest of it ringlets. Talk about goofy looking!
Dofey, I sawry you is missing your BoBo, but glad that you have your other furbabies to love on and Lana too. And gosh, I wonder what is making them sick. Do you think it could just be the heat?

Just an FYI, Kathy has not been around, as she is having a little bit of a family illness/emergency of sorts. I'm sure she will check in as soon as she can. I will let her tell what. But so far, everything is going pretty good.

Kathy said I could share details with you goils. I had to ask so that I could ask for prayers for her DH. He was admitted to the hospital after having chest pains over the past few days. I do not think he said anything to Katwinka til he got home after driving many hours. Men, huh? I ask you goils to say prayers that all is well and they bix those pains and tell him his fart (heart) is doing berry berry good! Lots of love and prayers going out to Kathy. And I tink she needs huggies too (not diapers, goils)!!

Morning girls,no news is good news so far. Haven't heard from the vet yet,will know more tomorrow. Goldie-the bleach/water mixture is to kill the parvo virus. It could last 6 months otherwise. I feel like donning a haz-mat suit with this whole thing. Off to help my mom w/the rest of the cleaning today.Kathy-hope DH is alright. Thanx for the prayers,cheers.

I am having a nice day with friends. We are swimming and dwinking and eating well too. I am gonna whip up some daquari's with my new blender, wooo hoo. If you want to twy one, I warn you now, dey has a lot of rum in them ~hiccup~. It is another hot one here but "only" 93 degrees, much better than over 100 degrees.

Unde - Sure hope your mom's dog is okay, parvo is so awful,
so sorry you are dealing with this, but good idea to do the bleaching. About 200 years ago when I was a young thing in college I had a part time job at a vet hospital, it was so hard to see the pups with parvo.
