Good morning, Loungettes! The sun finally came out yesterday afternoon. I'm hoping the yard will dry enough to be mowed today, but I'm not sure that will happen. At least I will be able to get some laundry done and hung out to dry. Sadie's been swimming in her pool already and has tracked muddy paw prints all over the kitchen and living room. Summer has arrived!
Mrs. Vino--Aha, I should have known that Natties was a dwinky! Usually I can figure out the shorthand on here but that one stumped me! Congrats on a surgery date! Makes it that much more real.
Juliet--yeah, I can imagine the rain is getting old for you folks. Hope you aren't getting washed away! Anyone in the neighborhood building a boat?

CynCyn--YEAH!!! For time off work! The meetings were moderately boring, the usual stuff. How we were told to fill out certain paperwork at another meeting is now the wrong way to do the paperwork. In other words, the usual stuff. I'm still working on going through a meeting without saying one word, but I'm getting closer. I only spoke at the second meeting when I was answering a question. They can't say that I'm monopolizing the meetings with weekend issues now! And sometimes the cheap stuff tastes pretty darn good!
Mema--I'm willing to send rain to anyone who wants it, but the local farmers are saying "no" for some reason. Supposed to be a bumper year for strawberries, and they are out already. Gotta get me some!

Lisa--ovaries are the biggest source of estrogen, but there is another--it's call aromatase. Aromatase is an enzyme that coverts fat and cholesterol into estrogen in the fat cells. Tanya, yes they are going to do blood work to check my estrogen levels. I just hope it works!!! I still have a little over a year for the Arimidex. Arimidex is a hormone blocker too, so I hope the dosage I take, doesn't block the testosterone. I will ask her about that, cuz if that's the case, no sense doing it. Hey, I remember one time, we had a Toga Party. How about one of those?

NM-I really like coffee in the summer w/the ice,caramel,whipped cream etc. Don't use a coffee press but thinking about it now. GOLDIE-It's just a matter of safety I guess. Diff docs diff opinions,and of course I want it because I can't have it. BEANS-Don't run away,i'm sure there's going to be some sort of party here tonite. Good afternoon, Loungettes! I'm waiting for a guy to come look at my deck and see what it would take to fix/replace it. I filled out contact info at a local site on line and the guy called me about 30 seconds later. He's on his way up as we speak (he got off the wrong exit). SillySadie pulled the corner support out from under the deck the other day, so I think part of it is being held up by the steps, so I better get it taken care of. Once I get something sturdy I can think about getting another hot tub, too. I can use the bribe of the hot tub to motivate myself to lose some weight!

Undy--I love coffee, but I can not drink it cold. I can eat coffee ice cream, but I cannot drink cold coffee. I know it's weird, but then, that's a good discription of me!Silly Sadie is standing next to me panting on my leg and dripping on my toes. I've washed the kitchen and living room floors at least 3 times so far today, but she is so happy and it's so much fun watching her run around and jump in the pool and bite at the water and spin around in circles until she falls down! Makes me tired just watching her!

Wow! getting my deck fixed is only going to cost $600, and the guy can get it done sometime in the next couple of weeks! The deck was made with pressure treated wood, so while it looks old it's actually in good shape, so I only need new posts and the stuff to set them in properly. I'm very happily surprised!

Dose guys did look a little into each other. But maybe they jest european. I made it....what a day!!! I skimmed thru all the posts and Im afraid as much as I want to write a novel I just dont have the energy to do so...Stella is ok now..I dont know how the Hail that Molerfoker found her or how she snuck him in..I swear need to watch her like a hawk....I felt badly becaues I forgots to bring her to da airpowt wif me....DD unfortunately isnt feeling well and aparently spent the majoity of her flight in the Lav.....she was pale and pastey and has been pretty much in a bad way....I just made up her bed and hopefully will be better tomorrow. She is producing estrogen too so that contributes to her crappy chitty feeling...When we got back to the house , forgoing supper at Cracker Barrel offered by my parents...the inside of the house was 94 degrees...yeahhhh...the a/c stopped working....Its back working now . Waiting for it to cool the house down..holy moley...speaking of wich...once again...Im keeping a good eyeball on Stella.

Undy--as soon as the deck is fixed it will be time to get a new grill. The current one doesn't work, but then I got 18 years of use from it. Then it will definitely be deck party time! I've been picking up some solar lights at the Dollar Tree as I see them, will need to figure out how to best attach them to the edges of the deck for night time lighting. Ah, such challenges and problems to have! Will those "deck hands" come to the party too? My deck is about 6 x 32 feet, roughly measured.
DorKable--boy, have you gotten ahead of me on the dwinkies! I need to work to ketchup, but can't start until Monday am when I go off call. Hmm, this is a problem, me thinks. I KNOW! I can dwink virtually! OK, DorKable, the race is on!
Wahine--sky hebby here, too, supposed to get nice over the weekend and then rain in again first of the week. Need a dry stretch when I am not working so I can mow the lawn again! I agree, swimming water should be kewl, not sweaty!
