    YES we can!

    Victorious,

A "bump" is a way to keep a conversation active by leaving a comment and thus "bumping" it back up to the first page of the discussion thread.

What a great inspiration to me.  I was diagnosed a year ago with stage 4-mets to liver and bone.  I feel great even though I am still in treatment.  I work full time-have active weekends and keep breast cancer as a small irritation--I plan to keep on going until there is a CURE for me-or at least a way to totally control this.

So--if you are not a stage 4-count your blessings and enjoy life, if you are a stage 4 count your blessing and enjoy life!!!!!!!

This is an excellent thread.  I had breast cancer, surgery March and April 2008, and I feel like I am a ticking time bomb waiting for a reoccurance.  I hate feeling this way.  Any ache or pain I feel I think it is cancer.  I am positive by nature, but this on took the legs right out from me.

I just got done presenting a series of performances for a library system a couple counties up the road from mine. As I was being congratulated by the early childhood coordinator who had put the tour together -- she asked me "how I was doing?"

She then went on to tell me that she is a survivor of 2 different visits of BC. Her last bout was conquered 17 years ago!! WHOOO HOOOOO. She had a four year old at the time -- who is now in college!!

    Talk about encouraging.

Awesome and amazing.  I have not gone through treatment yet (waiting on tests) I know I have node involvement and am scared.

Thank you all for the incredible stories.  I hope to share one soon someday!
