Ok good it wasnt my computer, or my eyes going crazy Jo. You do look good in the pink hair!!!!!
June I hope that you will find comfort soon for those crazy stones. I hope that the news is good news. Got ya in my prayers.
Well Im so happy that my insurance has raised the costs on my pills. Now to deal with the rising costs its cutting into my hobbies. Not a happy camper. I know I shouldnt complain because I do have insurance, but it really sucks when I am facing the bills that have pilled up and I want my hubby to get what he wants. He doesnt complain because he wants me healthyand has told me thats what he wants, but it just makes me.
Alicia its good to see your getting closer to having the cast off. No running marathon just yet, lol.
Well girls Im off to see the wizard, lol. Take care my Tammi girls and I wish cooler flashes for you all!

June no news is good news that is for sure.
Alecia so glad you will be getting that cast off. The boot will be bulking but at least you will be able to get around.
Paula health care is just too darn expensive. When we met with Chrissy this weekend, it was amazing how much cheaper things are in Australia compared to here. And it is the same medication made in America go figure that one.

Hello All! I've been lurking on the boards for a bit, and finally decided to 'come out' and post. Thank you all for being so honest, and so amazing. I started on the Tamoxifen in June, and have had some lovely side effects. (Of course, going through chemo I was Queen Side Effect!). The hot flashes (which start in my hands) with the nausea and unbelievable tingling, I have NO appetite and am forcing myself to eat (first time in my LIFE for that), but the absolute worst is the back pain. By the end of the day I'm ready to chew off my arm. I see my oncologist on the 11th, and we'll see what he says about all of this. (He is AMAZING). In the meantime, yes, I'm very happy to be alive (as people say to me constantly), but I'd LOVE for these side effects to GO!

That what gets me crazy Sherry. Why is it that way? The drug companies get away with it and its not fair!
Tink I have an amazing husband and am very lucky. We have been together for what seems like forever and I wouldnt trade him right now, lol. He has always been there for me and I am so lucky for that. He has always treated me like a queen. He still opens door for me after 20 years and kisses me good night even if we are mad at each other.

mpeaches - Welcome. This is quite a bunch of wonderful gals you have run across. Lots of support and good information here. Sometimes we do get off topic and tend to have a wild and crazy time. If we need to change gears - we can at anytime. Come visit us often.
Paula - Do not adjust your computer and no you don't need an eye exam - I really do have pink hair. Hey! Someone has to be the crazy one in this bunch.
June - You are the HOT momma!
tink - Think we can start a pillow fight this weekend? We are way overdue.

June - You can spray your hair pink. It is just a temporary spray I got at Sally's and it does come right out when you wash it. So just go for it and I want to see a picture.0

You girls are making me laugh and I need it. This is day three of hell week here at work. It has not slowed down and I'm exhausted.

Careful with the spray hair dye if you have blonde hair. I used the color mascara they had for hair on my daughter once to make red streaks and it didn't come out. They say because blonde hair is more porous and soaks it in.

Peg - I was a blonde in my younger days by alas, I now have a head full of silver hair and I have earned everyone of them.
Sherry - I hate it when work is that exhausting - sounds like we are having similar weeks. (((HUGS)))
Paula - Now you really started it - back at you sister. LOL

Thanks Alicia!!!! the dress goes with absolutely everything:) June, I am fine...rying to decide about the AI and whether I am going to take it but weighing all the pros and cons...a bit hesitant as you can imagine but grateful there is the option...doing well with each day I get further from having quit my job...just dfound out that the pal I emailed about it to apply got the job ( it has not been posted yet....but this fellow and I worked together years ago and it will be great. We get a long great...he is very different from me so that will be a shock but a good thing for the staff..if you are going to have change...change!)...the house thing is slow...not sure if the gal wants to see or not as each step I take to get things moving is responded too slowly....but it was also 4degrees celsius today instead of the 20 celsius it was on Monday so the idea of moving is starting to be very unappealing ....I am just letting everything settle...things will unfold.
thinking of going to New Brunswick for a few days at Thanksgiving...this weekend....not whole weekend as I am tired of asking people to take care of my cat ...but that is ok too...might just drive the three hours for a one-nighter and be back here Monday...lleave Sunday morning when things are quiet...we shall see.
Glad to hear things are going well ..WHACK WHACK to all!

Well my tammi sisters, this has been a terribly busy week at work and my Dad ended up in the ER and now has congestive heart failure along with radiation pneumonitis. PCP talked with the MO and said we need to have a long talk on next visit as to whether he continues to do chemo and kept stressing it was his choice but wanted to make sure we all understand that the chemo is slowing down the growth but by how much who really knows as the cancer continues to grow. Dad did not give any indication of what he wants to do, sure we will talk about it more when he gets home which should be today or tomorrow whoever dad said he would stay in the hospital. I think he is afraid to go home. I have not spoken to my mom this morning but last night my aunt called her and she told her to call me cause she thought she would start crying if she talked.
Then to top it off I am trying to get my in-laws meds switched over to a mail order pharmacy and no matter how simple I try to make it for my MIL she manages to screw it up and then it takes more time and phone calls to straighten it out. The problem is she only listens to about the first four words of anything you say after that she zones out and then she does not want to ask questions cause she is embarrassed. I am so ready for this week to be over with.
