Spar. Thinking about you today -- in the wait. I finally remembered where I put that low-sugar  pie/dessert recipe, that I promised earlier in the summer. Making one today would be the perfect distraction.

    1/4 C water (boil)

    2 - 6 oz yogurt

1 sm pkg sugar free jello

    RF Graham crust

    1 - 8 oz cool whip free

Use same flavor jello as yogurt. The pie I tasted, made by my niece for family picnic was lime flavor.

Disolve jello into water, put in yogurt, then fold in cool whip. put into crust. Freeze for 2 hours or refrigerate overnight.

It's my understanding that this is a recipe from Weight Watchers. Since I am "kitchen- challenged", I just typed exactly what niece wrote down. So I don't have any answers for questions. (Like I have no idea what RF means in conjunction with graham crust..... but I doubt that's an enormous concern.)

What I can tell you, was that it was DELICIOUS. Not a morsel left in the pan. The men were ready to arm wrestle for another piece.

Edited to add: Now you have my entire recipe collection. LOL..... also edited even later to call this a 'low sugar' recipe.

Faith, thank you for that recipe, I am going to try it. and I think you are being humble, you probably know how to cook a thousand things and just don't want us to know so we don't rush your house for food. LOL

Julz of the beach, I am so mad at you, look at all those wonderful pictures of food and I am on this very restricted diet until after the test tomorrow.  You are so bad.  It is a good thing I love you.

Biker, now I understand the goats, growing up we had goats and my son had to drink goat milk after I quit nursing, he was allergic to formula and did really well on goat milk.  They kept the grass short also.

Sahalie, our sweet director of the beach, do you have any activities for us this weekend?  I am ready for another treasure hunt, that was so much fun.

Saint, Sige, Foots, how is your day going, good I hope.  Footie, please let us know how your dr. appt goes today and let me know when you get your package

    Mary-lou, hi from an angel

Heymoose, how about some company on the beach today

Margo, are you feeling good enough for a cup of tea with lemon and sugar on the beach with us today.

lv2cmp, hope you are up to walking the beach with us today, hope we find some nice sea shells and I can never get enough sea glass.

Dreamcatcher, how is your day going?  Hugs to you.

Wings, I do share your love of lighthouses, maybe we could buy one and make a bed and breakfast out of it.  You could even have a room for your daycare since I know you couldn't leave your little ones.

Julz, here is some food pictures for you liver and artichokes, trying to make myself not want all the good stuff above.

Remember the huge tree I had removed?

Today is the day the guy comes with the machine that grinds up the stump.

    The stump is like concrete.

At least I will have some great mulch for the other areas.

Sun is out early today but we could have sprinkles tomorrow.

I think the recipe sharing is a great idea especially with the Holidays coming up soon.

Until I see you next here is one of my fav's to share.

Whole Wheat Pumpkin Muffins with Cranberries and Walnuts.

    2 1/2 C. whole wheat flour
    2 t. baking powder
    1 t. baking soda
    1/2 t. salt
    2 1/2 t. pumpkin pie spice
    1 C. pumpkin puree (I use canned)
    2 T. oil
    3/4 C. honey
    2 eggs
    2/3 C. buttermilk
    1 t. vanilla
1/2 C. sweetened dried cranberries (like Craisins) (you can also just use raisins)
1/2 C. chopped walnuts1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a standard size 12 cup muffin tin (I use cooking spray).
    2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice; set aside.
    3. In a separate bowl, whisk together pumpkin, oil, honey, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.
    4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir together until just combined. Fold in the cranberries and walnuts.
    5. Divide batter evenly between 12 standard sized muffin cups. Bake 20-23 minutes in a preheated 375 degree oven. Muffins are done when they spring back lightly to the touch or when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.  The muffins will be nice and moist. This recipe is enough batter to completely fill 12 standard sized muffin cups. When they bake, the batter should rise up and over the cups, resulting in some big and beautiful muffins.Enjoy!  Especially great on the cool mornings we've been having.  Yumms.Sahalie*

Julz, Michael is now 52, we are the same age till January 12. Then I will add another year. I always get teased that I'm older.

The question about the graham cracker crust being (RF) means Reduced Fat. They have abbreviations on the WW boards too. Cool

We are having a cook out today and I have a ton of stuff to do. So I will leave you with Hugs for everyone. I will return later if I'm not worn out.

Spar.....I dont know why we have goats on the beach but they have been trained to use the buses.  Very discrete animals... however they are eating the bush while they are using it.  Silly things.

You havent realized yet that you ARE a princess not like a princess..... so to remind you here is your tiara:

As you can see it is made up of hearts because yours is generous and sweet.

There are no calories on the beach.... eat and drink what you like.

Saint:  You go Girl.  High 5.  We are gonna have a blast.

faithandfifty - You are going to Vegas.... looking forward to meeting you.

Celia - love your picture of Fuji

    Sahalie--our campfire hostess... Smore please

SoCalLisa - still hasnt sent me any daisies..... sniff .... sniff

Mary-Lou- new yet so neatly part of the sand crowd.

Julz- You have the Gentlest of souls.... and sweet grandchild.....kisses.....

Have to run... have a half day to do a days worth of chores......!

    Hello hello.

Yes I raise Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats.  They are the cutest things and nothing as cute as a baby goat.

Thanks for all the goat pictures.  I was smiling the whole time.

Saint-those pups are the cutest thing and I couldnt help but notice those wine bottles in the left corner also.  I love your avatar.  What are their names?

    Faith-How are the babies?

Spar-lots of people can drink goat milk that cant drink regular milk.  We make goat milk soap but we dont drink it.

Sahalie-those muffins sound wonderful.  You made me hungry!

    Julz-nice to meet you also.

MaryLou-Nice to meet you also.  congrats to you!

    Wings-long time no see.

Jan-nice to see you around.  Hows the weather in PA?

Hope everyone is having a good beach day but then again every day at the beach is good.

    Julz's Banana Bread....

I/2 cup shortning...I recently changed it to Smart Balance for Healthy reasons. But use the full fat

                                Original Smart Balance.

1 cup of sugar, this works O.K. with 3/4 of a cup also!

1 cup of Very Very Ripe (Brown Bananas) mashed up about 3-4 Medium Bananas! Extras O.K.

    2 eggs

    2 1/4 cup of flour. I usually do 1/2 wheat 1/2 white!

1 teaspoon of baking soda & also a teaspoon of salt

    1/2 cup of milk

Extras ~ you can add raisins, (Chocolate covered ones!) , wheat germ 1/4 cup & 1/2 teaspoon

of cinnamon! If you add the wheat germ you might want to add 2-3 Tablepoons of milk!

Mix above in order as given with an electric mixer! Pour into 1 loaf pan that is sprayed with pam or some such! Sprinkle a little cinnamon & sugar on top if you like! If you add some nuts & raisins it might be more than One loaf! I have mini loaf pans & made 30 or more mini loafs (with several recipes made) & took them to Hershey Medical to give to the nurses on the Gastro floor when my oldest son had abdominal surgery 2 years ago! They loved it!

Oh I almost forgot Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until center of bread comes out clean not gooy, with a knife or toothpic! Enjoy!
