Meece, get a tripod and you'll be stunned at the difference! I fought getting one for years and am so glad I did. I still get great shots with hand-held or action shots, but even better ones with the tripod.

I have three tripods.  I was just trying to figure out which setting to use.  I can't wait until everything starts blooming this Spring.  I will have many more practice opportunities.

My DH has a tripod that he never uses so I think I will try it this spring when I head out to practise. My problem is my new future SIL is always borrowing the Cannon that my DH gave me and I think he has fallen inlove with it as well as my DD.Laughing

    LOL!!!

Yes, I have a Canon, based on our Lisa's recommendation.

My DD got me a 'gorilla-grip' tripod. Little. Anyhow, it got left down here last spring and I've been longing for it again. Fits in my purse. Can be placed on the handrail at the beach to provide the 'perfect' stability. I would endorse having one.

Each leg can be 'twisted and contorted' to just the exact positioning that you want.

Not a huge investment of $$ for a nice pay-off in professionalism of results.

edited: I've tried and tried to cut & paste an image from the web & they aren't staying.

I have one of those tripods as well.  I hung it from a tree limb when we were digging our pond and took a picture from the same location about every 30 minutes.

    Gorgous, Lisa.

    Simply gorgous.

Elaine. Are you there?? Have you felt my loving energy beaming your way??

Julz sent a phone message that her computers are still at issue & she's sending her love.

Where's Coonie?? I think she must be either on holiday or at work 24/7??

I am better each day. Teenie bits better. Long road still ahead, but better each day.

The sun is out again today -- so that restores my soul.

    I think I'm a sun-addict.

I think Coonie was having problems with her computer.  Something about Photobucket making her computer go berserk.

Today marks the second anniversary for our "beach."

So much has happened in the two years since our angel launched this place of respite and support. A gazillion pictures have lifted my spirits on a daily basis. Dozens and dozens of women have been supported thru their time(s) of trial.

We have built a small support family.

    We have celebrated.

    We have cried.

We have walked forward toward the sun.

We have distracted one another thru tests and ramifications, thru side effects and hissy fits.

We have met a few beachie babes, in real life.

We have danced together thru all sorts of weather.

Today is a special day. It is a day when one of our sister's has been called to heaven. Our Kbugmom has gone on to earn her angel wings just earlier this morning. On the second anniversary of our beach.

It makes me pause to think of Toyful and AlaskaDeb and our lv2cmp Amy..... beach babes opening their arms to Kbugmom as she flies into heaven.

    My heart is heavy.

It's time to walk the beach and reflect.

Two years. That's a gift..... have no doubt about that.

How do you have a party in the midst of our collective loss?

Sweet friends you have kept me tethered together. I can not conceive how I would have been able to journey thru these years without your support & encouragement.

Today's a day to say thank you.

    "THANK YOU."

    xx00xx00xx00xx00xx

    Strength and courage.

    Strength and courage.

    Strength and courage.
