    Hi Beachies, I am back for a visit to check on Faithie.  Faith, you are hard to keep up with.  I am so glad that you are healing and no obstacles have gotten in the way.  I do remember that i had some swelling for the first 2 months and my surgeon told me to not get fitted for a prothesis till about 2 months had passed.  So have a wonderful, healing time walking on the beach in FL.  Sending you some art-filled hugs (you have to use your vast and amazing imagination because posting with photobucket is problematic) and positive and healing energy.

    I love all the photos here that you beachies are posting.

    My goal today is to "try" to put in my mouth only HEALTHY stuff.....to give my body nutrition it needs and not junk it craves....LOL   I'll see how long I can keep up with this new way of life:)

    This thread is such a marvel to me.

    The friendships.

    The poetic reflections.

    The idea of the beach.

    My DH just told me that for my Valentine's present we are traveling to the actual beach for a big chunk of next week!!!!

    Our home is in the middle of land-locked FL, so while the skies are often blue and the weather is theoretically warm (neither have been the case for the last several days. LOL...... there is not an ounce of 'beach' anywhere at hand.)

    BUT NEXT WEEK I WILL BE WALKING ON SAND!!!!

    He didn't want us to go far, so he's already unhappy with the weather report forcast.......

    BUT IT'S A REAL BEACH!!!!!!

    Daytona here we come. Well Tuesday will be here soon enough.

    And the sun is apt to shine sometime in the five days we have to celebrate.

    Celia..... your avatar walking the beach makes me smile. The whole thing wPhotobucket is such a headache. We will rely on the pictures that Lisa & Mum share and others who know how to navigate beyond Pb.

    Faith, make sure you dig your toes deep into the sand! I love sand under my feet.....sigh. What a wonderful Valentines gift (he's a romantic for sure).

    Coonie, I used print shop for the valentine outline..my photo in the center..fun stuff

    Meece..did not know you were in our neck of the woods..the weather should be perfect

    for you...warm and sunny..Lots of neat places to take photos...I love the zoo...

    and LaJolla cove..Grossmont shopping center has really nice flowers in the

    central part..wish we were having a  san diego bco lunch bunch today..

    I've found that smidgen and will raise you a dinkie-dinkie-bop!!

    We had such a great time at the dance last night.

    My dear dearie had arranged for them to play "our" song.

    I was able to do most of our 'swing-dance' moves without toooo much thinking/pain. I wore my white running-top w/shelf bra & my fluffies, with a red ruffled blouse in layers. My fluffies stayed where they belonged and a fun time was had by all!!

    Hope that everyone has a happy Valentine's day today.

    I'll take genuine beach pictures as the week unfolds. It's crazy cool, unseasonable down here, but it's not like I was gonna wanna spend the week in a swim suit, anyways. LOL.

A nestle down with a good book kind of day...but I'm at work, so that's what I'd like to do, you probably have more exciting plans...hehehehee

    Sharon. I just love your angel pictures.

    I've given up on Photobucket -- so I'm at a loss for pictures beyond those that I have taken personally.

    We leave for the beach TOMORROW!!!! It's supposed to be unseasonably cool, but that won't dull my enthusiasm for sand and surf. I'm sooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!

    Barbe......I have been thinking of You & the Other Canadian friends to the North of me this week! What a Wonderful Show that your Country has put on for the Olympics! Another reason I was wanting to Share with Your Country is OUR SNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! I live right where we got BLASTED with Almost 4 feet of snow in 2 storms this past week!!!! I LOVE SNOW but would be more than HAPPY to share with YOU!!!!  In fact we got another INCH last night!!!! But I will keep the inch if you will take the other 30 or so that are left!!!!! Tongue out  Now that you have had a chance to have a relaxing Morning on those Beach Bed Chairs.....

    GET UP & STRETCH THOSE KINKS OUT!!!!!!!!
