Just back from walking myself for the second time of the morning. Now going further and staying out 30 minutes in each effort!!! Progress.

    YEAH.

And then to arrive home and walk on the beach.

    Special treat!!

That's nature, Lisa!  It sort of has its beauty by the contrast of something delicate and clean erupting from the gritty plant.

These are peonies from last 'summer' up north-WI. I took the picture as part of my FB scrapbook of bicycle riding with my 'CURE' hat -- in Saint's honor.

    I am WILD about poppies:

I had never seen this shade of poppies before last summer. WI was so far 'behind' the growing cycle that I'm used to, it was fun to watch the spring flowers open for us in June.

While I'm certainly no flower expert. LOL. The picture previous was from a 'bush' of blooms -- that I watched open over a couple of days.... making them Peonies in my mind.

This pic is from the same FB album.

Oh crap - I am that lone figure waiting for that wave to crash...that was my day yesterday, my raft has kept me from drowning and for that I am so very grateful!! More waves expected today...say a pray or send good thoughts my way, if you can.

    Love you all

Thank you so very much!!!  I know I will survive this crisis and probably be better for it --- but it has been and it will be incredibly difficult to navigate, understand and has screwed up everything I thought I knew, how it will effect the future, the children, so many things.

It is hard to be strong and wise and collected, practical, blah blah blah. just once I would like to be unreliable, irresponsible and not care. I am tired of having to carry yet another heavy burden, knowing that family and friends will follow my lead in my reactions to these things.

I believe I will take a pill and go back to bed and pray that I get some sleep.

Just off the phone with DD1. She & her hubby have just WON a four day cruise, complete with air fare, lodging before & after in FL and all expenses (except alcohol on board.)

They signed up for some drawing -- completely free -- at the local movie theatre and were chosen for second place. The first place winner got a "Smart Car."

Anyhow, they're pretty excited. She doesn't think they should 'give' us the cruise, since we were baby-sitting, which enabled them to go in the first place.

They have 12 months to use it.

They better take some great pictures, don't ya think??

    Oh MUM.

    Thanks for the amazing sights.

I always feel like I'm right there.

I just pulled up this 'do-over' collage of our trip to Aruba for our January surgery thread, that was needing a little sunshine & diversion.

Probably ok to repeat it here, too.

    A sunny-Sunday to one & all.

(P.S. Barbe, I've never won anything either. So I'll have to continue to live vicariously thru others.)

    (((((((((((((((Barbe)))))))))))))

Elaine. Thinking of you today, too. Sending warmth and love your way.

    Faith, I love that collage..

I spent yesterday trying to sort out a mistake at the Navy  Hospital, just for some

bloodwork...left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing there...but in the

end it was all sorted out ..just a waste to my time

It is raining here in Southern California...but the poppies are out all over the place..
