Lisa----it's gorgeous! Just about everytime you post a pic, I use it as my desktop background. I swapped the rose out for the 4th of July house that was decorated. Thanks for keeping my computer desktop looking good0

I took this one yesterday, very near a Southern California Beach

haha Lisa----I'll have to remember what page this one is on and come back to it when I'm ready to change my background:) Hope you had a great day with your son and granddaughter! I sure am missing that San Diego weather......it's so hot and humid here.

that's the bay beach at our campground - tide is high here - the sandy area is often double what is shown here. aaahhhhh ... will hate to leave here tomorrow and go back to reality and work, but at least I'll have the weekends

Awwhhh Mary.....sand looks nice. At least there's not tar washing up on your beaches yet.
Getting back to normal routine is always good----then you have the weekends to look forward to.
((((((hugs)))))))))

Lisa, is that a hybiscus? It's stunning!

Mary, where the heck do you have a beach with a tide in Pennsylvannia? I can't figure that one out....
Great hibiscus Lisa! Very clear close shot, I'm right there!

Here's the night we came home from Alabama and the clouds/storm were just amazing.
The rainbow was just slightly to the left of these boats.

very nice faith
marl...beautiful campgrouds...looks almost deserted, how nice

the campground is on the delaware bay in cape may courthouse NJ. Lisa - that pic was taken in the middle of the week when it was cold so not many beachers! it's about a 2 minute drive from the actual campground down to the bay, all on campground owned land. never really gets crowded down there, most people go over to the ocean beach at stone harbor, which is about 15 minutes away. I like it there too now and then, but I just love the solitude and peacefulness of the bay beach.

We ended up in Cape May a few years ago...took the ferry from somewhere in Delaware
we were there in the fall when the town was virtually deserted..nice spot

faith, forgot to comment last night on that picture showing the boats and the approaching storm. if that's what the pic looked like, I can only imagine what it looked like in person. wow! lisa, that would have been lewes, delaware on the other end of the ferry. we've taken that in the past when we've stayed with friends in delaware and then want to get to our place. we're about 20 minutes from where the ferry lands in cape may ... under the weird naming rules of some officials, cape may courthouse is a separate city 20 minutes north of cape may! and I confess that cape may is much more charming than cape may courthouse

Lisa-everything OK?

we are OK, haven't fallen into the ocean yet, thanks

Did y'all know we had a 5.1 earthquake about 2 weeks ago?

Wasn't that around the G-8 Summit time, barbe?
I haven't been by the beach in awhile, and had several pages to catch up on. A couple pages ago, Lisa posted a picture of a succulent, I think it was a Euphorbia tirucalli commonly known as firestick.

Yep, just before the G8, we all thought the bombing had started!0
