geez, I miss one day of posts and come to find all these gorgeous pictures! faith, those ships are awesome ... I can just imagine you getting all excited and being afraid to drop the camera!! we're down the shore at our trailer, and went with company yesterday over to Wildwood's NJ to walk on the boardwalk.  Wildwood has one of the longest walks from the beach to the ocean of any NJ beach.  This pic gives some idea of that, and if you look real hard, you'll see sailboats just off the beach in the ocean - they were having a race event there too which we didn't know beforehand and was sooo cool to watch!

Thank you both.  It was our fifth.  We both married our exes within a month of the same year.  He made it 15 years, I made it 22.  So do som crazy math and we've been married 42 years.  If that's so, then he did robe the cradle.  Literally.  Actually he is less than two years my senior.  I feel fortunate to have snagged him and that we have made it through 5 years despite the obstacles.  We met while I was going through chemo.

Meece, that's a great story - I'm so glad when I hear of people finding that special person after a first "dry run"!!!  MaryLou, I sure hope your Friday was better than your Thursday ... feel free to PM me if you need a little special attention hon.   And just in case this post begins a new page again, here's a pic of one of my doormats at our trailer at the Jersey Shore ... love these little guys!

Okay Lisa, have to ask ... was that from your repertoire or a google find?  it looks too clear to be googled so I'm guessing it's in your stock!  we're going to the delaware bay beach tomorrow (our campground is on the bay) so hoping for some good new pics as long as I remember to take my camera!!

    Good morning Beachettes.

I hope we all have time to relax and dunk our feet in the water. (Lucky little shorebirds in Lisa's pic.)  .

Marlegal, I'd hang that mat on the wall.  I hope you have another mat to actually 'use' before you step on to the cute one.  ((((Mary-Lou))))  Meece, you are gorgeous.  Great pic of you and DH.  The picnic looks good too!!  Happy anniversary to Mr. and Mrs. Coonie.  I've booked you the honeymoon suite.

    Thank you, Sharon.

I surprised DH by having everything ready for the picnic.  I navigated us to the beach, and DH went and oen up the trunk and started getting food out and bringing it into the car.  He asked me why I was taking  things out, and I said "to take them to the beach".  He thought I wanted to eat in the car!  He was surprised that I hade the table cloth and everyting else set for lunch on the sand.  For once I surprised him!

We watched people fly kites, and enjoyed the ocean sound.

    WOWOWOWOWZERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just love coming to the beach to find so much going on.

Happy, happy anniversaries to our anniversary gals.

Meece those are amazing pictures!!! Thanks so much for sharing them. I always feel like I get to know our 'sistahs' a little bit more, thru each additional 'real-life' photo that get's shared. Makes my day in a very big way. AND to see ya sittin' there on the real live beach with a quality picnic will make me smile all day.

Coonie, we wanna see a picture of the two of you, too!!!!

The thing about Lisa and her amazing pictures, is that she can find them on a dime!!!! Lisa, how on earth do you do that??? I was sooooooooooooooo impressed when I put up our Tall Ships pics that you were able to put your fingers on your tall ships instantaneously. I know you must have tens of thousands of pictures. How on earth do you keep track of them. Seriously, I'd love to know that secret.

We saw "Eat, Pray, Love" yesterday and I was enamoured with all of the scenery. Having truly appreciated the book, I gotta say the movie was about the scenery. If ya wanna grasp the author's experience ya gotta read it. The book has soooooo much more depth.

There's a 'party' over at the 'middies' thread this weekend, so that's put me in a festive mood.

Hope that everyone has a great weekend in store.

****OHHHHHH, my other big score yesterday was that I found an AWESOME little dress at a nutty little resale shop. It was half price day for some reason and so I got it for $10.00. It has some lovely little ruffles that start at the neck and go flouncing to the bottom. A.) I can fit into it, thanks to the pounds I've lost with the ELAB team and B.) it is great camouflage (sp???) for the lack of bustline. Now I'll have to wear it and get a picture and post that over on the flat channel thread. LOL.

Time to ride my bike, so I can zip the zipper on my nutty new dress!!

So, Faithie, did you buy the dress for our party?  The zipper would definitely zip fine for that event.

P.S. I think we should all do a joy dance for very own Sharon and all that she is doing to support our Konakat thru these rough waters.

Maybe we should pop some good eye-candy Life Guards up for KK, just in case she happens to paddle through...... I know that is one of her favorite aspects of our beach.

Surely, someone can find a better picture. This is tooo far away. LOL
