    It's Friday!!!!!

Let's frolic & have some fun.

    Dig in the sand.

    Build some sand castles.

Thanks to each & everyone who has been a part of the first 700 pages of beach support, beach friendship, beach inspiration, beach wellness, beach vistas and beach dreams.

It's sobbering to think that there are some no longer in our midst to frolic. It's a reality check to realize that there are some empty beach chairs in our midst.

In honor of the beach-lovers we have bid farewell, may the party continue always in their memory. It is with joy that we come together to share sunshine and sand. It is with joy that we play here in the ephermeral land of sand castles that get washed away with the tide. We have had storms on the beach -- that is certain.

Two of our long-term beachie gals have had health concerns just this week. Checkum has come through her nerve wracking surgery with the good news of her tennis-ball size growth in her abdomen being benign!!!! Her road of recovery is just underway. I'm sure you old timers remember her fondly and wish her well. Maybe she can 'escape' and pop in for a warm group hug.

Julz is the other who has gone thru heroic testing of late and her news is also benign!!!! (Various polyps thru her body -- NOT BC related.)

In any case let's just send out cheer and strength to all who have ever been part of our beach..... anyone reading along we send you our collective nonsense and mirth, our views and sand camaraderie.

It probably would feel a tad 'strange' to jump into a thread that is on it's 701st page, but jump in we encourage. Hopefully you'll find the water's just fine and you'll stay to visit and get acquainted. Please know that you are always welcome.

Ususally there is someone around who can offer you a sincere smile:

Faith, that welcome/sendoff/general post was very moving, at least to me, maybe because I know what's in your heart and mind speaking of some of our sisters who aren't here to post on their own. I love you.

Lisa, the fact that you take the time to post these pics is awesome. I love that you have such natural beauty so close to you, and I love you too.

Happy Friday (for a few more minutes clockwise, but for a couple hours daywise for me!!!)

    Happy Sunday, beachie-babes!!!!

I took this series of pictures on a beach in FL earlier this spring. Finally got them posted to my blog. Hope that you enjoy. I had so much fun chasing them -- attempting to snap the photo before they ***popped!***

****The bubble-blower is of no relation. Just the provider of a great deal of delight for me. I thought you'd appreciate seeing the creator of the joy.

    Way cool Faith.

At the Relay for Life yesterday there was a booth set up by Casting for Recovery, an organization that provides retreats to breast cancer patients & survivors at no cost.  It's a lottery system to be picked.  I thought some beachettes might be interested-the focus is learning to flyfish.  Here's the website www.castingforrecovery.org  I'd never heard of it but sounds like fun.
