I'm back....never was really gone.  I've been doing a lot of ready from my Ipod...It seems I have once again accidentally the "Remove from My Favorite Topics" button again!  I just thought everyone was quiet....but today I went looking to see & again my fingers mess things up!

It's so good to see so many walking the shores!

I AM DONE WITH RADS!!!!!  Today was my last day!  Again I am sick....bad head cold starting again just after getting off the Z-pack for Bronchitis!  Tired of being sick!  I know I'm whining but I need/have to work & if I am gonna pick up every bug that comes about.  It's gonna be a long winter....heck we haven't made it to fall yet!  I only did RADS too!

    Loving everyones views!

Marlegal Congrats to becoming a Granny, GI GI, NANNA, Grandmother!  I just became a Grandma for the second time this year!  He is our true Miracle!  He was born 12 weeks Premature with CDH=Congentital Diaphrmagtic Hernia.  He was given a less than 1% chance of surviving!  He came home from Hershey 4 days before Mothers day after spending 90+ days in the hospital.  He is believed to be the Only surviving Preemie CDH infant born at Hershey!  I pray every day for every unborn baby!  May your bundle of Joy come into this world without any extra splashes!

    Waving to Everyone Else!

Here is my Cutie #2 grandson & grandma.  This was a few months ago.  The first time I got to hold him ever!

    Thank You Marple!

Barbe it's on to follow up checkups, Dr's appt. & an Endoscopy as I am having swallowing problems again.  Thankfully not as bad as last year.

GORGEOUS pics Julz!!! I want to get back into my Pan Pastels and any of those would make a great subject. Does the wee babe still have the oxygen on? If so, how do you stop him from ripping it off? He's going to be bigger than you in no time, but that's no challenge is it...hehehehehhe! You look wonderful as well! Was that before your diagnosis? Can you see a difference in your face after knowing you have cancer? I find it puts out a certain light in our eyes knowing we've created cancer in our bodies....sigh.

Thanks Barbe! He's pretty good about leaving it in! He will be bigger in no time! I know I had the AH DX then & the MRI showed it was CA. I knew! But no finale path yet when the pic was taken. I see the change!

Beautiful photos. I realized I've never seen the sun rise over the beach. Many sunsets, however. I suppose I could see it in Hawaii if I could get up that early.

It was an awesome experience the time I got to watch sunrise on the Atlantic and sunset on the Pacific on the same day.

chabba, very cool! we have the best of both worlds at South Jersey too - can watch the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean, and watch it set over the Delaware Bay. I'm 20 mins from the ocean, less than 5 from the bay, when we're at the campground. One of its many bonuses :)

Barbe, I actually think my eyes got a little more light to them after my dx, 'cause I felt I'd won. I never thought that I'd made the cancer, and still don't actually.

chabba: love the pictures.  Can stare at those and the pain of those annoying joints just disappear for awhile. Thank you.

Lucky for me and all the others that enjoy the pics, a lot of the best photographers in town (a few of them professional) send pictures to the local newspaper.  The editor e-mails the link to many of the best ones to those of us who have asked to be on his "breaking news" e-mail list.

Julz - what a precious little boy!

Marlegal - I am so glad you will be close enough to your grandchildren to see them often.  Mine live in Owasso, Oklahoma and Zama, Japan (about 45 min. south of Tokyo)! Since I live in NC I don't get to be with them very often, but we do FaceTime and Skype a lot.

Barbe - I am with Marlegal, I never though that I created the cancer and I still don't after thinking about it.  I create a lot of things, but don't think cancer is one of them.  Who would want to create something like this for anyone let alone for themselves?  Sorry for the tangent, I just was asked this afternoon what I did to get cancer.  I was actually nice to the person and just said "I asked a lot of stupid questions" then walked away.

I cannot believe I was so nice to the person!  I usually get mean and ask them a question like "how did you get such a big nose? or how did you get so fat? or some other How did you get (fill in with something I know they are self-conscious about and have no control over how they got it)?"  Then I stand there and wait for them to answer.  See, for all of you that think I am so sweet and nice---not always. Tongue out

Lisa, I DID swallow the worm off the bottom of the tequila bottle!! In fact, my picture should still be in a restaurant in Boise, Idaho!!!!

Elisimo, you  ROCK the answers!!!! I wouldn't have expected that from you, no. I'm a turtle and just pull my head in and pout. But you got it!! You own it!! I wish I could own it....sigh. What does that mean, anyway??????

Interesting about the different thoughts about the fact that our body did/did not make our cancer. I'd never thought of it any other way, but I like you guys making me think differently. That's what a "discussion" boad is all about, eh??

I was rereading this all & mulling it over.  I think I am getting the perspective that " My/Our body made the cancer ".   It was our own body that made it....we didn't receive it from some one else's body or have it made for our body!   NO I didn't want, intend, order my body to make it.  It just happened!  Who knows why it happens....that's the Gazillion Dollar ?!  I'm sure when it's found out WHY it will end up being many reasons!  But blaming ourselves doesn't solve anything!  It only makes the beast worse!

Elisimo...."GOOD ANSWER"!  Your entitled to a "NICE" moment!  Tongue out Did you perhaps partake of that "WORM" on the bottom of that bottle only Meir minutes before encountering that person!  See could blame it on the worm!  Hahahaha!

Eph....I've been there too....only after the fact!

Chabba...What a Wonderful source of Beauty!

Lezza....  I've not seen you here before.  Here are some honorary flip flops to Welcome you to the Beach!

Okay, still giggling here about "I asked a lot of stupid questions" - that has to be the best answer I've ever heard. I just hope I can remember it to re-use when appropriate!!

Well beachettes, it was 7 yrs ago today that I got the phone call. Actually, just about this time of day as a matter of fact. It's been the quickest 7 yrs in my entire life. It's also been the fullest 7 yrs. Not necessary filled with good all the time, but I'm selfishly glad that I'm able to see there's been way more good than bad in the last 7 yrs. Becoming a part of the BCO Community, even to the point of working with them on occasion since they're local to me, has meant more to me than I could ever say. I think most of you understand though.

Thank you to all the wonderful women I've met in this thread and others, and especially the chat rooms ... my lifeline when first dx'd. I look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries with all of you, and FOR all of you.

    Much love and hugs.

Marlegal....Yeahhhhh to 7 years!  Many many more years for sure!  What a treasure trove of experiences for sure....some tarnished....some shiny!  An unexpected turn in the road of life we never expected to go!  But sprinkled with goodness that was not thought to happen on this Journey!

I must say Julz, your last posted photo in the above series is like EYE POPPING MAN CANDY HONEY! (I'm trying to be like Mary Murphy on "So you think you can dance?")  Seriously, that dude is fine....made my Friday.  Thanks!
