Close, but mostly false -- however I am dragging DH and me, though I am still sore, to an annual combined Christmas and Hanukkah celebration sponsored by a local discussion group that has monthly educational invited speakers relevant to mutual topics of interest, including a guest speaker tonight. Last year there were a lot of Jewish tradition and also Christian religious displays and decorations, but no candles for either the Jews or the Christians( fire hazard in the hall we rent out to meet) , just a lot of food, fun, good company, and prayers for a better future.
