    I'm a bit scared of some dogs but I recently held a little black poodle on my lap and it was lovely.

    Ocean, I hope your doctor's appointment goes well.

    We are semi ready for Christmas but there are always a lot of last minute things to do, even though we don't have a big celebration.

    The next person has a lot of Christmas presents yet to buy.

    Yes, I don't like Christmas much. I'm doing my own thing this year, volunteering, and avoiding family, well, finding something else to do to avoid family.

    MissouriCatLady, thanks for your concern. There are no bushfires around here but there are in the country and in other states. We had a heatwave but I think temperatures will be more moderate for a while.

    I agree with you, Ocean, we stay home. Most of the time are in bed - wild life! Grateful you are okay, Aussie-Cat.

    I have to lose some weight. They had a clip on the news this week about reducing your recurrence and it really makes a difference, so yes, once the fudge and cookies are gone!
