I just saw this thread... it's nice...

I am grateful for my husband, who is my best friend, and we have been married for 24 wonderful years!

Friends and Family and my two cats.... they helped me through my treatment, and they were there  when no one else was with me...  my dh was still in the Navy, stationed in DC...

my bc sisters, and breastcancer.org, where I know I can come for support and understanding, when the rest of the world doesn't 'get it'.

I am grateful that I can still get up and exercise to help my se's from the hormonal drugs... and I'm grateful that I can take them to help prevent recurrence...

I'm grateful for my dh's insurance plan.

I'm grateful for my drs. who helped me through my treatment.

I'm grateful that I'm here almost 3 years after my bc dx...

Right now, I'm grateful that I don't still live in Maryland, where they just have a BLIZZARD...

There is SO much more that I'm grateful for... I could go on and on...

I love all of you, my breast friends!!

I am grateful for another sister Navy wife on this thread.  My DH retired several years ago with 30 years.  Moved many, many times, but as you said, am grateful for my dh who is my rock.

    Blessing to you.

    Mary,

Hello!  It's always nice to meet another bc sister and breast friend, and a Navy wife!!  My dh retired Nov. 1st 2007, with 26 yrs., just wen I was finishing up my treatment...  so he couldn't be here with me through it all.  He did come down when I had my surgeries, and my dx...  and he was able to come down after my 1st two chemo tx, and stay for 4 or 5 days.  He was able to come down for the final 2 tx., as he was on 'terminal leave'...  yippee!

Blessings to you, too, my friend

    foots,

Yes, of course, you are an important part of the U.S. Military... FAMILY!!    Yes, I too, support our troops, and all those who help keep our country safe and strong... as well as those who help others.

Funny, I lived in MARYLAND most of my life...  When I got married, we lived in Columbia, MD, and I went to Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Bethesda National Naval Hospital...

Yes, I am also grateful that I can still worship and pray.  I pray that we will continue to have this freedom.

I am grateful that we only got about an inch of snow last night...
