I am grateful for all the prayers and encouragement I had and still have from loving friends and family as I entered "The Chemo Zone" yesterday.

Thanking the Lord for that I was able to work half day after my chemo infusion and a full day today. Thankful to have the weekend off.

Thanking God that my intermittent FMLA for chemo was approved without all the hassle I experienced with the previous one for my surgery.

Amen to that.  Pets are such a comfort.

And a wonderful Hubby who handled all the meds and cooking and helping me up off the couch when I was too weak, and drove me to all my appoints and sat with me through all the chemo.

Oh I am also grateful for my pets! I have three therapy dogs and a therapy kitty! I'm grateful that the dogs plus my hubby motivate me to get outdoors and walk. Even when I think I don't feel like it, it does me so much good.

I am grateful for this board.  I searched for several months for a place like this.  To share and to learn and to help and to pray.

I am grateful for all those who seek and find here.  Whether it is answers, companionship, or prayer.  Whether they post or just silently read.

I am grateful to be able to work from home and to be working a split shift so that I can nap between the two 4 hours segments of my 8 hr day. I am grateful that this arrangement has helped me not to miss any work since my first chemo treatment last week, so that I can save my paid sick time for later when I'll probably need it more.
