I am grateful for a sweet rep at Social Security (is that an oxy-moron?) yesterday. After waiting almost 2 hours to get copies of letters Dad shredded by mistake a couple of months ago, she wanted Dad to make an appointment to come back so he could officially be the rep for my Mom. It was end of day so instead she just did it on the spot.10 minutes saved us hours

I am so grateful for a couple of peace and calm today after 10+ days of craziness and family drama and a long nap. Grateful beyond words that DD has been accepted into a nursing program! She applied to about 20 programs, so hoping there will be other acceptances and choices to make. If not, she's happy with this one.

I am grateful that for a couple minutes the other day, I actually couldn't remember whichmx was done first (left vs right). After 1st mx, developed a constant uncomfortable feeling in the back of that arm, also lymphedema. For some unexplained reason, it all disappeared after delayed recon (16 years later).

have fallen behind
I am grateful that when my car had a flat tire on Saturday, the battery on DH's truck was also dead (both on the same day of course), we had a spare battery which he installed (there were also electrical problems but let's not go there). Got to my friend's house to carpool to a workshop a little late, but we made it and had a great time. Also thankful my friend and her husband treated me to dinner.
Grateful I usually have reliable transportation

I am grateful for my Savior and I'm thankful to know of his teachings. I am grateful for my beautiful children. I was told I wouldn't be able to have children and yet Father in Heaven blessed me with four of the most amazing children in the world. I am grateful for a loving and tender husband who cherishes me and makes me feel wanted, loved and desirable. I am grateful for a family who supports me through the good and the bad. There is never any contention among us and I feel truly blessed by this. I am grateful for friends and a church family that jump in to fill the needs of my little family. I am grateful for a beautiful home in a lovely location where I can be surrounded with the wonders of God's creations. I am grateful to be granted a chance to finish raising my kids, a chance to improve my relationships, and try to be a better person. I am grateful for the hard things in my life. They show me that with God, all things are possible. They teach me to have a more compassionate heart.
Thanks to the one who started this thread. I enjoyed sharing with you all today and I thank you all for sharing your attitude of gratitude with me.

I am grateful that even during the dark times, I can still find things to be grateful for, and have the loveand support of friends to keep me grounded in the moment.

I am grateful for my older son's email today. He told me that he was reliving a lot of good memories today and then said how much he loved and missed me. So grateful that he is safe. I am certain that angels watch over him while he is away. I am grateful for my DH who is going to come home early everyday and cook, clean and take care of kids while I finish rads treatment. It's getting harder now, but I know that with God on my side, family and friends I can make it through. I'm grateful for the times I am carried by my Savior and by acts of love.
