I am grateful that my first Chemo went very well today.

I do have a story of God meeting needs no matter how small:

Back ground - I have a friend who is a chef at a local restaurant, ran into her at Church and asked if she would make Cream of Carrot Soup today (comfort food for after chemo).  She had not planned on making the soup this week but graciously agreed to make the soup.  Needless to say, I craved the soup for the last three days.

Fast Forward - stopped by restaurant after tx and friend told me this story:

She is off on Mondays and went to call pre cook re my request...got side tracked and forgot...came in this am and noticed prep cook had started the soup of the day...it was Cream of Carrot!!!!! She had completely forgot!!!

Our God is an AWESOME God... such a small thing but it meant the world to me!

Blessings and best wishes to all!

    Michelle

I am grateful to be at the place I am now, compared to where I was 9 months ago...scared and waiting.  I honestly believe with all my heart that it was the prayers of family and friends that got me thru it then, and continully getting me thru day to day.  I am grateful for my family that introduced me to God at an early age.  And for new friends that continue to strenghthen me daily.
