Judy - thank you so very much for the information.  I feel tons better now that I have some information.  The people I work with are trying to have an understanding of what I am going through with the TEs so I, too have let them touch and squeeze them.  Once I even said BEEP BEEP and scared one of the girls - she wasn't expecting it.  I think I'll ask the PS if he can insert a squeaky thing in one just for fun.... Just kidding but I did get a laugh at work.  Anything to lighten the mood.

It's going to take me a little while but..I'm going to see if I can't get at least one person in every state to recommend.  For the most part, it will be thru PM only, but i'm going to try..Hang with me girls, we'll get this going..

The conference was really good.  It is mostly on technical stuff, but always a trip that we come out of with little gems of wealth that we can use to help each of you.  And thos little gems that keep us out of trouble!!  The best part though seriously, for me, was getting together with friends and letting them know that I'm OK..   JUDY.

HELP - I'm finally trying to figure out how to post my pics on the pic forum.  I poked around on the site but am not sure where to start.  Can any of you give me some pointers on where to begin and then maybe I can figure it out.  I'd appreciate any help.  Thanks, Dawn

((Judy))  I am glad that you are back from your trip safe and sound.  I am also happy that you got time to reconnect with friends and learn some new stuff.

((Karen))  How is the hip and body doing after your excursion?

Last follow up on my sister,  she is home today!  Thank you all that sent some good thoughts and prayers on her behald.   Sally still has some therapy to go through, but now that she is home she should be a little easier on her.

Jan--Thanks for asking.  My body is very creative and I have a lovely bruise, very colorful.  Actually, falling when near 50 is very different than falling when 20--lots of little aches and pains, but these days--I'm glad for every birthday, and I'll take the aches and pains, but try harder not to fall!

    How is Sally?

    Hugs,

    Karen

Hi Everyone, hope you're all doing well. Just came back from my PS appointment and have been filled to 430cc's. The last fill  of 90cc's was quite painful so he only put in 60cc's in each this time. My next appointment with him is in 1 month. He wants to wait to give my skin time to stretch properly, but he's very pleased with the results so far. Depending on how I look in a month, this may or may not have been my last fill. I've got a larger space btwn my two TE's than I would have liked but he told me that he would remove the scar tissue in btwn and bring the implants in closer to make a nice cleavage. My TE's are low height and therefore my projection and side view are almost funny at this point. He says that he's going to try to put in 600 or 700cc implants. I queried him on that again today and he said it'll look great, trust me. I love the way Deborah's foobs and a few of the other gals on here look and although I realize I am a larger person than Deborah, 700's seem awfully big to me. I'm 5'6 and 140 lbs....What do you think?

Whippetmom, thanks so much for the info about my implants.

    Hi Karen!

Well, I am now 6 days out from my exchange surgery, and overall am very happy with the result (except for the fact that I still have drains--boo--hoping those will come out tomorrow).  The implants already look better than the TEs and better than the ones God gave me, which isn't saying much.  :)   I still haven't been back to see my ps yet, and have a couple questions that have been nagging at me that I was hoping someone could answer.

One of the implants is perfectly round and smooth at the top, but the other has a big indent right in the middle and feels lumpy.  Is this something that will smooth out with time?  I got Allergan gummy implants, if that makes a difference.

Also, on the inner quadrant of each breast, the mastectomy scar comes to a point.  It's not a huge deal, but something that I thought she'd fix at the exchange.  Anyone have experience with this?

Finally, I have the dreaded loose & saggy skin under the armpits, on both sides but worse on one than the other.  Is there anything cosmetic that can be done about this?  I've never heard of an armpit nip/tuck but maybe?

Thank you so much everyone in advance for taking the time to share your knowledge with people who are currently going through this.

Terri:  Whoa!  700 cc's?  Bet a lot of US women wish they could go to YOUR guy!  I don't know about 700 cc's though.  650 cc's at the most for you - that's my recommendation.  You would be a "D" cup with 650 cc's.   Your ribcage is the same as mine....I am a "D" cup with 550 cc's.

samiam:  No, that loose skin and bits and pieces and dog ears and all that funky stuff should all be revised away - either at the exchange or at a separate surgery.  Some of what you are describing might be a liposuction procedure.  That indentation in the middle of one implant does not sound right....could you post pictures?

I agree with Deborah Samiam..... it needs addressed....

Ladies.. I see my PS this Friday. This will be 8 weeks past exchange. I am .. NERVOUS.. ME... I am kinda scared to address things with him. WHY????

Maybe because they are so minor.

My non rads boob is 1/2 lower.. and it has not fallen anymore..

I wish I was bigger ( but due to rads skin.. I JUST CANNOT risk another surgery on that boob if I do not NEED it)

I had my lower eyes done.. and I still think I have these little bags on the inside... everyone tells me it is still swelling... ( and EVERYONE tells me I am too picky)

I have ripples ( this is easy to talk to him about.. he wants to do fat graphs)...

Anyway.. I HATE HATE HATE to be a downer.. I just want your advice.. that is all...

WHY in the world am I being this WEAK...????????

Well I have made it through the exchange. Surgery was scheduled for 7:30am this morning but was moved to 9:00am due to an emergency (emergency patient is doing well - thankfully). Even with the delay, I was home by 2:00pm. I have the Mentor 800cc Moderate Plus and so far I am pleased with the results. PS tried the high profile but said they were all wrong for me - I wouldn't have been happy with the result. Also, PS doesn't believe in compression garments so yea! for me. The new girls looks pretty good - no hamburger buns. Have very minimal pain with the pocket revisions; however, the sides under my arms where he removed the excess skin and fat is pretty painful. But all in all, I am doing well.

Thanks for all the hugs, prayers and well wishes. Another step closer to the end.

Denise.. WONDERFUL! Yes, I agree.. HP would have been all wrong for you... too narrow...

It seems.. your Dr. P and my Dr. R here in KC.. are not into the compression thing.. I had my sports bra on for a week.. ( yuk).. mine did tell me one week)

I am so glad you are home and doing good! 800 sounds good! I am excited for you!

Laura - You know you are not weak my dear. You have had a really hard year! And you have been there for so many. Always with a kind word and a gentle hug! And it is your time to sit back and say that everything isn't quite how you want it! You have every right my dear! I'd say talk it over w/ your PS and see where you go from here. He will be able to tell you if your eyes are still swelling. I can tell you from your picture that you are BEAUTIFUL! Gentle hugs going your way!

Denise - I am so glad your surgery is behind you. Congratulations!

Deborah - Thanks for PM'ing me another date.

Due to a crazy work schedule and vacation next week, I am not keeping up w/ all the surgery dates. Feel free to PM me if you have a date or if I miss-typed any of your information.

    Hugs to all. - Jean

Denise:  FINALLY!  You got the 800 cc's....great style for you.....Pictures in a week???

Laura:  I know how you are feeling....believe me.  That non-rads side you say is "lower" than the rads side?  Is this evident in the photos?  I did not see it... but yes, the ripples....that is a done deal with fat grafts....hopefully it will take in one try for you....Your PS can tell you if there is some residual tissue swelling under the eyes or something he needs to tweak.  If necessary, the eyes can be tweaked when he does the fat grafts.  The fat grafts, when done right, add volume to the breast mound.  This might give you enough additional volume to feel like you are a bit larger...

I have not taken pictures, either before, during or after because of the (probably totally unfounded) horror of having those images on my hard drive for my children to find.  But, I am really curious to know if my foobs look normal, so tomorrow, after I get the drains out (please God), I will take some photos and post them to Timtam's site.  (I will then immediately delete the photos from my camera and computer!!)

Estepp, I'd be upset too if I'd paid to have bags removed from my eyes and they were still there!  How long since the operation?  If it doesn't resolve in a couple weeks, I'd definitely go in to talk to the ps about it.  And ripples = bad.  But fat grafts = free lipo? = good?

Laura: I know how you feel about talking to doctors about your concerns. I wish there was an easy answer to it...  sometimes I find planning how I am going to ask/say what I want is harder than actually doing it... I wish you peace as you prepare your thoughts and have the meeting with him. I am glad you mentioned your jitters to the group- we are with you! You are NOT NOT weak! You are looking for solutions- VERY different than being weak! Please don't second guess yourself and worry about people telling your your picky--- remember what you would tell us--- Go get what you want -! Go Laura- Go Laura!

I am so happy for those ladies that had their exchanges past few weeks and are happy, Denise, 800cc?  Vavavavooom!   Samiam, glad that you are well!

((Laura))  Hugs!  Sometimes words just don't convey the emotion of concern that I am feeling for you.  These are your feelings, no one can tell you how to go through this process.  Keep working yourself through this maze, you will find the end, right now you are bumping into that emotional wall.  Jan
