Marsha - in your pocket for sure, and have already prayed for you. Hugs to you!!!

Marsha - make room! I am jumping into your pocket too and will say some prayers. I hope they don't take long to read the scans.

Marsha, lots of prayers headed your way and it will be mighty crowded in your pockets. Everyone jumped from my pockets right into yours (including me) so you are not alone.
I have to have a PET scan also now. I'm really scared. But all we can do is keep the faith. Just ordered a meditation guide to try to keep me calm. Really falling apart all the time now.

Marsha, definitely in your pocket too. Many many prayers being sent from New Zealand. Stay strong girl we are all with you. xxxx

Marsha, your pocket is going to be really full as I am jumping in there too. Sending prayers and good thoughts your way.

Fiercebluebird, we are special people and can be in two pockets at once! When is your PET scan? We can stay in your pocket for as long as you need us. (((hugs)))

Fiercebluebird, I just saw your post. Count me in to be in your pocket! I just got home from chemo and am feeling kinda fuzzy. I have a love/hate relationship with PET scans. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way.

SimpleLife4Real, how are you doing with your rads?
0 -
Lilyrose, I'm doing better than I expected in the beginning with rads. Today was #22 of 33. I'm officially past the 2/3's mark! So far, the only area of my skin that is pink/red is right around my clavicle. I have two more full zaps this week and three more next week and then I'm on to boosts. I'm feeling optimistic that this may not be too bad. Thanks for asking. How is AC going for you? I think that was the hardest part of treatment for me.

Hi Simple! (That sounds funny!) I swear these chemo drugs plus all the other stuff they pump in me are making me loopy. Just got home a little while ago from round two. So now I can tell myself I'm halfway done! I hope this is the hardest part of treatment. I feel like crap most of the time - mostly headache and tired, but I also had a bad couple of days of nausea and the big D. That didn't hit until day three, so my MO told me today to stay on the zofran an extra day or two this time. Shedding hair like mad now so maybe tomorrow if I feel up to it, I will have my friend buzz me.
Glad to hear that rads are going well for you! I have heard so many say they had trouble with them. I hope you continue to feel ok. I think of all of you ladies every time I go for a procedure of some sort. I feel like doctor appointments, ect. Have taken over my life! But I know I'm not alone in this.
Wishing you the best.
Hugs, lilyrose

Hi ladies, I haven't been on the boards since early March. So just wanted to pop in and say Hi.
I finally found out my headaches were caused from my bp being too high. Dr. increased my meds, and that helped. Thank you to KSteve for checking on me.
In March I hit my 3 year anniversary! So happy! I am doing great and just living life!
Happy 5 year anniversary to Titan, LRM216, and whoever else reached this milestone.
My thoughts and prayers to Bluebird and Catwhispurr and any others who need it.
I love you ladies and this board was my hope and strength during cancer.
I will try to not stay away for so long next time.

Another to add to your big pockets!

In everyone's pocket! Ha! Marsha, the pains happened with me too. The found arthritis from neck to knees!!! Radiologist determine arthritis from cancer on bone scans in that arthritis is symmetrical. Cancer is asymmetrical. Good luck and let us know!

Good luck, Marsha. Will say a prayer for you, while I'm in your pocket. LOL

ksmathews - good to "see" you and I'm happy to hear about the bp meds fixing the headaches. What a relief that must have been.
Sending positive thoughts to everyone who is undergoing tests right now. It's always so scary.
Hugs to all,
Kathy

Fiercebluebird and Marsha: Hope you both have deep pockets, cause I'm jumping in too! Wishing you both only good news - and while arthritis is no fun, I have plenty of it as well, it sure beats anything that begins with the letter "c".
KS: Thank you, and it's wonderful news you brought us. So glad to hear you are doing well.
Sending healing thoughts to all that need them, and bright light to shine upon all of us.
Hugs,
Linda

Ban - I went over my path report and can't find anything pertaining to ki67 or SUV figures. I even asked my onc's PA and she didn't know either. Where exactly can I find these?
Placid - thank you so much for sharing that your doctors also recommended expanders during rads. This is very comforting. If you don't mind me asking, how did the reconstruction go for you? Did you have any complications? I have my first consult with my PS this Monday and am looking forward to hearing his plan.
KS - huge congratulations on your 3 years!
Marsha and Fierce - I am also in your pockets and sending you lots of love and prayers.
Hope everyone is having a peaceful week. Hugs.

Ban - Inspired was kind enough to clue me in on the ki67 and SUV score. I did not have the ki67 test and am still working on the SUV score. I have a CD of my PET scan and will try to find the info there.

All,
Thank you all. My pocket is very comforting. I know all you know the thoughts, feelings & nerves that go with this CRAP.
I love my iPhone.
Just got shot. Am now lose dose radio active, but not harmful to others. Got sprung until 2:30pm. So am wandering around Univ. Of Miami medical center in Miami. Weather great today. Slight breeze to cool us down. Am praying for arthritis. Was told any sprain, fracture or bone break this test will show - no matter how long ago. Was told they expect to be able to give MO results tomorrow afternoon. I hope I don't have to wait the weekend.
Keep you all posted & post as soon as I know results. I trying for Arthritis!!!
Marsha.

Lookingforward/Marsha - I'm considering a new phone. I have Droid Max Razr and don't like the boot time, takes about 1 m and 8 seconds -- and screen is a bit small. Which iPhone did you get?
Also posting great news everyone! I just got my results back from my annual MRI yesterday - all normal! (I have the u/s annually and MRI annually, alternate at 6 month intervals).

Hooray for good news and anniversaries! And fingers/ toes crossed for Marsha.

Inspired - that is wonderful, wonderful news! Congratulations!
Cocker - love that second photo! My cat looks like that little guy!
Ban - I'm sorry, but the CD requires a program I don't have to view it. I'm sorry I can't be of any help!

LOL - I also enjoyed Cocker's second photo - too cute!
