(One more story about the SAME woman who tried to "humanely" cook lobsters....when microwave ovens first came out, she decided to put an unopened can of corn in there to cook figuring she'd save having to wash a pot. I'm sure you all know what happened next. Her comment was "I had no idea how many kernels of corn were in a can especially having to dig them out of the drapes: (after the explosion, of course)
