I like to look in antique stores but I rarely buy anything. I often like new items that look like old items. I don't buy much furniture and that kind of thing anyway.

I have dark blue carpet now. But we're thinking of switching to a light brown now that our girls are grown. We needed a dark color when they were little. Dark blue finger paint on tan carpet proved that point to us!! Lol

I prefer light green walls and white gloss woodwork but mauve or blue walls can be nice too.

I enjoy reading your color descriptions and home decor preferences. I have noticed that a lot of light haired women look great in pastels, and many dark haired women look great in richer tones.
I do have a modern kitchen, with all amenities. I scored on a 3rd story apt with vaulted ceilings, fireplace, and beautiful wood cabinetry for the same price as those without the extras. I guess it's the bonus for moving furniture and for hauling up groceries up all those stairs! Lols

Hello Miss Bianca!! I'm glad you've enjoyed reading our posts. I agree about fair haired and dark haired women and colour depth. Also, people with warm toned hair including red look better in yellow based warm colours (eg. mustard, olive green, brown and rust) and cool coloured hair looks better with cool colours (eg. pink, blues, cool greens etc). Your apartment sounds nice.
