Depends on my mood - I like both, but I don't really like really heavy metal rock music.

Do you prefer country music or rock music?

    Probably country music.

Not when I was young. My parents wouldn't allow it. My first concert was after I was married.

Do you enjoy concerts or not?

I rarely go to concerts but I did go to a BABBA one recently and I enjoyed that.

Do you find concerts too loud or not? (I wore ear plugs at the one I went to).

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

I have never had baked ham! We don't have special meal at Easter. It has never been a family time for me.

Do you have a number of celebrations at Easter or just one?

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

Just one now. We used to gather at my parents' for my family's celebration but we don't do that anymore since they passed. So just my family with my hubby's family now.

Aussie, I'm sorry you've never had baked ham!!! I LOVE it!! Especially at Easter!!

Do you color Easter eggs or make an Easter basket?

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

We used to decorate eggs or make Easter baskets when I lived at home but not in recent years.

Do you plan to eat a lot of chocolate Easter eggs or not?

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

I don't plan to...but that's definitely subject to change. Lol

Do you prefer chocolate eggs or hard boiled eggs?

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

Silly question, LOL!! I prefer chocolate eggs but soft boiled ones are nice too.

Do you do cooking for family celebrations or not?

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

Lol I know it was but I thought I'd ask it anyways! I think everyone would answer chocolate as their favorite! Lol

Sometimes if the crowd is not overwhelming!! With my family...it usually is, though!! Lol

Do you prefer family get togethers or quiet private celebrations?

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

The osteopath I saw this week said she doesn't like chocolate but that must be rare, LOL.

    I prefer quiet private celebrations.

I am looking forward to Easter! I've always loved Easter. My birthday has actually been on Easter twice, when I was 6 and 16.

Do you prefer springtime holidays or fall holidays?

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

Wow, that your birthday has been at Easter twice and you remember when it was!! I don't remember when mine was.

    I generally prefer springtime holidays.

Do you like going on holiday when it's cold or snowing or only when it's warm?

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

    I prefer when it's warm.

Do you like taking trips only by car or do you like to take trips by plane/train/boat?

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

I sometimes like trips by trains or boats but I haven't flown for many years.

Do you prefer to be the driver or the passenger in a car?

Jumping in here again ladies, just spent a few minutes catching up on the last 10 pgs of this or that.... I love reading your exchanges!

I drive all the time. My husband doesn't like driving at all. Being a passenger however has it's perks (crocheting, reading my latest find, looking for rainbows, seeing the nature pass by) - but it's not often that I'm a passenger.

House choices - multi level or single level??

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

We live in a single level house and we much prefer it that way?

Do you have good views from your house or not?

  • MaddieBrie1
    MaddieBrie1 Member Posts: 112

3 level town house that backs up to a bit of greenery and then a larger view of the community center parking lot. 😑 Better than some though....

We're looking to move a bit east or west and find some single level home with a bit of land. Some space between us and the next door neighbors. Neither of us are ready for retirement and can't quite afford it yet.

Essential oils and or aromatherapy as part of your recovery process or not??

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

Yes, I use tea tree oil, eucalyptus and spearmint oil.

Do you wear perfume or natural scents?

  • MaddieBrie1
    MaddieBrie1 Member Posts: 112

I have developed allergies to a lot of perfumes (dyes and additives, scented lotions soaps body products) so I use essential oil in a light sesame carrier oil as scents when I wear them at all. My work is pretty delicate so I don't wear any of it during the week days. I use some lavender and sage at night sometimes. I love citrus on the weekends. Peppermint or eucalyptus when I need to focus.

    Camp fire or gas/electric fireplace?

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

Maddie, it was good to hear about the essential oils you use.

A camp fire sounds very nice.

Toasting marshmallows or bread over a camp fire?

  • MaddieBrie1
    MaddieBrie1 Member Posts: 112

😏 can I have both!! I love the ooey gooey marshmallows slightly burnt and toasted bread w cheese in on of those cast iron sandwich makers.... Oh so good!!!

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

Maddie, yes you can have both! Smile

I think cats are cuter but I'm allergic to them and I haven't had much to do with dogs. I would prefer a bunny.

Would you like to have a bunny as a pet or not?

  • MaddieBrie1
    MaddieBrie1 Member Posts: 112

My family has had multiple bunnies as pets, I loved them too! My other middle sister was crazy for them. We had Holland lops and a small dwarf breed I can't recall the name of yet. We only had one at a time and had 5 overall. There was Carrot, Carrot2, Bun-Bun, Stretch and Pepper. My mid-sis was about 6 (me 7) when we got our first one. We also had indoor/outdoor cats growing up (no more than 4 at a time, one for each of us).

I'm trying to decide on flower garden varieties - daffodils or tulips?

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

I would prefer tulips but it depends what other flowers are around for them to go with.

Do you prefer pink or red roses?

  • MaddieBrie1
    MaddieBrie1 Member Posts: 112

I was looking at hyacinth for lower some hostas in the middle w the tulips and lilies in the back... 😊

Definitely red, the darker the better..... Those petals make the best rose water and infused oil. I've used them to dye muslin and cheese cloth for crafts too!

Which seeds or nuts (for human snacking) do you like best? Pumpkin, sunflower, peanut, cashew, almond, pecan, pine nuts, walnut, pistachio, or ??

  • aussie-cat

Do you prefer peanut butter or other nut butters best?
