Down 2 lbs - walked 3.8 miles today and planning on the same tomorrow.0 -
Ate a ridiculous amount of chips (one of my worst junk food temptations) today and feel like crap. Well, tomorrow is another day!

Down 2 pounds- but I am pretty sure it is water weight. I have gankles right now for some reason and cannot even get my wedding ring off. My weight has been fluctuating up or down by 5 pounds a week for a couple weeks now. Must have something to do with recovering from the double mastectomy??

5 lbs fluctuation is a lot! I fluctuate as much as 3 lbs with fluid retention. All it takes is a meal out at a restaurant. Even when food doesn't taste salty, it apparently has more salt than I use in my cooking.
I stopped taking arimidex 3 nights ago. Am really interested to see if not taking it will make weight control a little easier. I think my weight gain began with stopping HRT immediately after my dx. Then a couple of months later I started my 5 yrs. of arimidex.

Congrats on graduating from Arimidex, carole! Must be a great feeling.
I ended my sugar fast for a total of 20 non-consecutive days in May. Lost almost 1 Kilo. Now I am in chocolate heaven, but will have to rein in that monster soon.

Carole - happy for you that the 5 yrs is done... I am anxious to see if this helps your weight... it'll give me some hope... I just hate being as fat as I am.

OK ladies, a friend of mine has set a goal to lose 5 lbs by the 4th of July. She doesn't have much to lose so this will be challenging for her. I decided that I will join her and also try to lose 5 by July 4th. Anyone want to join me? I weighed myself Sunday and was 159.5.
Yes, I hear you about potato chips - my downfall last weekend was a big plate of french fries placed directly in front of me - you know the rest of the story LOL. Tomorrow is another day.

I would love to lose 5 lb. by the 4th of July. I'm in. We can encourage each other.

Me too. That would be a nice boost.

I weighed in at ww today and told the receptionist, "I'm up 2 lbs." But I was up only .2 of a lb! I like their scale better than mine! I weighed 157.2.

Pat01, I had already set a goal of losing 5 lbs by my birthday on July 1 and have made no progress at all, probably because I haven't been doing anything to make it happen. So, yes, I'll join you in that challenge and recommit. That'll give me 3 extra days anyway! Having said that, I have been on a terrible binge all this week, at a mini-family reunion and my granddaughter's graduation and open house. Yikes! I don't think Wednesday's weight will be pretty. Starting tomorrow, I'm also doing a 10 day no-sugar challenge with co-workers.

I was up on .2 lbs at my ww weigh-in yesterday. 157.2. My scales weigh higher than theirs.
I make a habit of avoiding sugar. We use sugar substitute on an every-day basis. But yesterday my car drove itself into a McD's and I heard myself ordering a L chocolate shake. Must do something about that car's weakness!

Reporting today (back down to 143) because I'm taking a little trip. Gulp. It involves some bike riding so hopefully that will help counteract being absent from my beloved juicer!

OK 5 by the 4th ladies - I weighed today and I am exactly the same as my June 1 start, 159.5. I am using loseit to count calories and subtract exercise. I have used it sporadically before, but a friend showed me a couple of neat tricks - like I eat the same breakfast ever weekday morning, so I can create a "recipe" of my breakfast, and then I only have to select 1 thing instead of 4 or 5 foods. The other thing it does now is scan barcodes - genius! My usual workday lunch is a lean cuisine type thing, so instead of searching for the one I'm eating, I can just scan it. Easy-peazy. Of course, yesterday it was someones birthday at work, and even though I skipped out on the celebration, the woman who made the chocolate cream pie brought me a piece "to taste how good it is" - well, I ate the whole piece! A couple of eating challenges coming up this week, a seafood fund raising dinner tomorrow night, and going away for the weekend which means eating out a lot, but I'm going to do my best.

I knew that Memorial Day weekend and a wedding reception this past weekend would take its toll. I am up a pound to 172.6. Heading out for a walk this morning before the rain comes our way. I am meeting with some of my retired coworkers tomorrow for lunch. I know that one of the gals is bringing a desert (I am bringing the vegetable tray), and she was always known for her great treats. I know I will not be able to resist so I will just have to exercise a little more this week!

Up 1.5 lbs and not surprised

Stayed the same at 131.5. Happy, considering a birthday and pizza.

Hi all, I'm new to this party but I clearly need to be here. I'm up 20 lbs from my ideal. Now that surgery and rads are behind me and I'm about to start Arimidex I need to be mindful of my eating and lose this weight. I've been exercising regularly since I got the ok from BS but haven't been so good about my food choices. Changing that starting now.

Down 300 grams but probably not for long as it was another two-dessert evening. Count me in for 5 pounds by the 4th.

I am down one pound.

On vacation. Moving a lot but eating more. Yikes

I would love to lose 5 lbs by July but not sure I can since I lost 3 lbs first quarter. I'm down 1.7 lbs this week which is bringing me back to my lowest weight in probably 10 years or maybe more. I hope I can continue down instead of two steps forward, one step back. Lots of exercise the last two weekends and more moderate during the week and well, so busy that I only eat two meals most days and have avoided sweets and snacks in general. I guess that works if I can keep it up.

Two Hobbies, thats wonderful that you are at your lowest weight in 10 years!
5 by the 4th - Didn't weigh today, but a challenging few days coming up - big seafood fundraising dinner tonight, then tomorrow off to Maine for the weekend for white water rafting. I'll check back in with you all next week and hope that at least I can maintain and not gain! And wish you all the same!

Well 5th by the 4th ladies, do not use me as an example! I am up 1.5 lbs from last Wednesday and also my June 1 starting weight. Was away last weekend, and was not a good girl. Still have a solid 3 weeks left to try to lose - and hubby is away on business next week, so I can eat like a bird while he is gone and hopefully make some progress.

It's time for me to check back in. I've been holding steady for a few weeks now (had reached a good weight) but the this past week I've had some slippage. It's not surprising and while it's only a couple of pounds (135 this morning) I need to come back to the fray and be accountable once again. Two pounds need to go!!0 -
I'm up to 159.5 this morning. Need to get back on "less heavy" meals. DH's birthday week was last week.

Lost 1 lb of what I gained last week.

I went up a few pounds this week and then back down to about where I was last Wednesday. This morning I am at 172.8 so I am up .2. I am making an effort to walk daily and limit or avoid sugary treats to see if that gets the scale moving in the right direction. Two parties this weekend so have to move more!

Have been hobbling around on an injured knee so already up 700 grams.

I am down one pound from last Wednesday.
pat01, my DH is also out of town, and I always eat very lightly in the evenings when he's gone.
