Hill Country Ladies and Daily Exercise Ladies:
As a San Antonian, may I suggest Acenar Restaurant as the meeting place for October 23. Acenar restaurant is part of Valencia Hotel with a separate entrance on 146 E. Houston Street, San Antonio, TX. It is about 2 and one-half short block from the hotel west of Daily Exercise Ladies' hotel and around corner from Hill Country Ladies planned hotel. It has a bar on the street level and restaurant is on the River Level. Below is the link for you to check out the restaurant.

Terri, my mom's whole family is from Wisconsin. She was born in Chetek (near Eau Claire) & we get together with our Wisconsin relatives at least once a year (preferably not during football season since we are Minnesota Vikings fans

Ruth, I am still a Packers fan, although I seldom get to see them play, since I am South and they want to televise the Cowboys and Texans, here. I have 3 brothers and numerous cousins, Aunts and Uncles that live around the Madison area. It is beautiful country.

Can't wait to see you ladies! I thought I'd be able to take off to stay the weekend, but it doesn't look like I will have the accrued hours, so I'll just have to swing down for lunch on Sunday. Y'all just let me know where to be, and if anyone wants to carpool that day.

Greetings from Florida....wish I was in TX as I would love to see everyone. Hope everyone is doing well..Terri, Jen, Vicky, Cindy, Mary Kay, Bonnie. Was in TX beginning of Sept. For all my 6 month check ups as I knew I wouldn't have time to find new docs here. I was so busy I'm sorry I didn't get in touch. Meeting with new oncologist in Tp (2 1/2 HR drive but no one specializes in breast cancet in Nales). Been having rib pain & ct scan showed " healing fracture ". My oncologist in Texas got the report and wrote back and said no evidence of cancer. But I want to find out why I have a fractured rib. Also been having some leg pain in my shin area. Not sure if it's from the AI inhibitor or something else. But it's time to get it all checked out.

thanks Terri & Cindy. We lucked out being the west coast - no hurricane problems. Hope u guys have a great meet up. I've already booked my next trip to TX for early March (SW was running another great deal - ) so I hope we can plan a lunch when I am there. And of course you all are welcome to come here for a little beach getaway!15 drive to beach & the water is so warm. Hugs to all -candy

Hill Country Ladies: I assume there will be 4 from your group coming to meet Daily Exercise Group on 10/23/16 at Ancenar, 146 E. Houston, San Antonio. I will make a reservation for 1 pm, under "BCO Ladies" for 12 people.
As to the driving direction, there are many routes under google or other map. I would suggest that you take I-35 S to 410 W then connect to 281 S towards downtown San Antonio. When you can see downtown buildings, you will be on 281S/ I-37 S. Take 141A Exit Downtown/Commerce, right turn into Commerce St, then go about 0.5 mile right turn into Navarro St. Keep going for a short two blocks (600 ft), there is a public garage (Mid City Garage address is 240 E. Houston, but entrance on College) at Navarro and College, turn left to College and the entrance to garage is on the right. Ancenar is two short blocks westaway on Houston St. There is another city parking garage at St. Mary's and Travis, also two blocks north from Ancenar depending which map directs your route.

I PMed SA8PG, who in June indicated she lives in San Antonio and wished to join future meetings of Hill Country Group. She replied that she has relatives in town and may or may not make to the meeting this time. I will assume the reservation is still for 12 people at Ancenar. Hope others from Hill Country can come too.

We exercise ladies are taking a dinner cruise Saturday night but will be back at the dock in front of Tony Roma's (849 E Commerce) at about 8:00. If you want to get together for a drink after that, and/or come back to the Wyndham for a visit, that would be great. We could either set up something now, or call each other that evening, if that is something you guys would be interested in doing. I have Cindy and Cling's cell numbers & they have mine. We are getting excited!!!!
