Was that snake thing real? There's going to be a python hunt in the Everglades soon

It's look real and there is some sort of garden behind it. The caption that was with it said "what would you do if your were walking down the road and saw this" Most of the responses were "run like hell"
Pythons get huge!!!

Where is this? Who cleared the road? The machine must be HUGE? Why doesn't the USA know of this technique? How do they know there won't be a slide? Where does the water go when it melts? We know for sure they aren't in California.

Would love to visit New Zealand one of these days, but not in June or July though. Don't do well in cold weather. I heard it's beautiful there.

Wow I didn't even see the snake when I went through the pictures. That thing is huge. Here is a cute baby picture to get your mind off the snake.

Michelle - no need to apologise. I thought the snake pic was cool; although if I saw one, I'd probably pee my pants.
Love the smoking/lube one.
And the "someone to smack the food"...I need someone to do that and remind me of why I'm in the room I'm in and where I put stuff.
Hugs to all,
Terre

Spookie, Kiwi - both Dunedins are called after Edinburgh which is called Dunedin (spelt Dun Eideann) in Scots Gaelic so you are both right about the Scottish thing.
(This says Edinburgh Festival in Scots Gaelic in the background)Scots Gaelic is spelt similarly to Irish and shares many words and syntax but is pronounced TOTALLY differently.0 -
No Don't bring back the spiders Sas

Welcom Mel. I am hoping that snake was actually a photoshop job.
Whoever posted the one about fixing the broken rib in photoshop - love it!

Chevy what that dog Gus (vs pool) lacked in spatial intelligence he sure made up for with sheer determination!

The story here about the name is we were founded by 2 Scots, the name was made from Dundee, and Edinborough. We just hosted Highland Games last month, nobody blinks at all the kilts that weekend.
