Thanks, Dee! No sign of GC, but we haven't given up. We've wracked our brains on what could have happened/where she could be. She'd been going out for several weeks and always come home. And we had the fosters for several days before she disappeared. Two other cats in the area have also gone missing, which is concerning. We've alerted all the vets, SPCAs, etc., and there are people who watch specifically for them on sites that sell cats. Just praying that she's safe, warm, and loved somewhere.
On a happier note, here's a video of the foster kittens we have. They're just over 2 weeks old and starting to get active. Not a great video, but cute nonetheless.

Love the posts! KCM hope your baby comes home and no one is out there collecting cats. After our one cat got hit by a car my DH built a catio, covered with perches, cat tower and screened in. Our 2 lady cats like it, but our old man Percy freaks. He likes the great outdoors or nothing. It is peace of mind to know they are in the Catio- outdoor cat Inn and not running loose to be injured. Wish our oldest cat would tolerate being in there. I should post pictures of it. Took a weekend to build it against an existing shed.

We have a back screen porch that the kitties love all summer. They are declawed, so its this or nothing for them. But glad they get to experience being 'outside' and watching all the yard activity.

Thanks for the kind words/thoughts. Love the "one more cute cat" one...too funny. They're all adorable! The bark for no reason looks like my friend's dog..who does bark for no reason!
Rose - when we buy our house in a few months, we'll be building a catio. We thought it would be ok here because we're so rural; we're surrounded by 10 ha of grazing land. There is a road nearby, but in the past, GC (missing kitty) always just hung around near the house. Since we've moved, she's apparently become quite the little visitor. We've heard from some neighbours that they'd seen her a few weeks ago, and it's a long hike to the neighbours' houses. I've become a bit philosophical about it. We've done what we can, and she'll come home or she won't. I just hope she's safe and warm and well fed somewhere.
