1 hour? (he takes one immediately and then keeps taking one every 15mins)

40 squares, maybe?

Ok if this is a test, it took Peter an hour to take the pills. Hmm, on the squares I'm saying 16 since the smaller shares cut into the larger ones.

Music - Excellent! You got both of them!

Those buggars, they did take a banana. Sheesh, these are like the questions on an IQ test. The questions I hated the worst are. "Which way is the chair facing". It took me years to get opposite right and left straight. Finally figured out in my thirties to cross my hands.

8 is in the eighth row down, second in from the right.

I agree with Kathindc on where the 8 is,,,,

Ok, 'splain it to me Lucy (AZ) on the squares. OMD, on the animal algebra. I know I was a smart a$$ for telling all three of my kids that algebra built character when they asked why they had to take it, and that all I needed in life was the basic four: +, -, x and division. Now it has bitten me in my derrière.

3Hens + 1Sheep or 2Hens + 3Sheep or 2Donkeys - 3Sheep
You want the answer in terms of one type of animal?

Hard to explain the square thing here except to say that 3 by 3 little squares is also a square and so on?

kathindc and Music - on finding the 8!
In the one marked 5... There are 40 squares. Everything that is a square counts - exterior, interior, whatever. 92% fail this test. (I wonder why...)
In the animal algebra one the answer is as follows. One cow = 10, one sheep = two, and one chicken = four. Therefore one cow plus one chicken = 14, (or seven sheep)

I taught math I should have had that. For some reason I thought that you wanted the answer in terms of the animals, silly!

I think it is C but if you send them over to my house I can be certain. This for the puzzle.
0 -
ok on the multiple choice ones, I'm saying C are B. I'll be back, hopefully, for the other one.
0 -
Music - C is correct for the puzzle pieces!
0 -
Oops, first puzzle is B and the other is C.

The pie slice is 6, having difficulty making logic of that.

Not sure about odd one out????? Could be C, different hand is used????
