    hey guys it's Rachel sorry I haven't been on lately it's been very busy. Today is the funeral. Very sad day. I love all the posts and messages you all have left. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. Love you all. Please keep us in mind today as we say our final goodbyes.

    I ditto what FireKracker said - We will all remember Mary and her fun times on BCO - Rachel, please try to remember all the Wonderful time You and your little guy had with Mary.  She will be waiting for us all to greet us in Heaven, when it is our time!  I pray for comfort for your family while you move on with the lonely days without Mary..

    Mary, we used to share pictures and stories about our grandkids. Today i managed to get all of them together. We celebrated my birthday early so my granddaughter could be there with us. The greatest lunch ever.

    Hey yall. Its Rachel. I just wanted to let you know I do randomly still check the page. Thank you all for the love support and sympathies. Its been a lil over two months and has been the hardest without her here. I cant help but to be so sad in the next few days as it will be my birthday and my first one without her at that. I miss her so much. I felt like she was with me at my house the other night. I was sitting on my back porch watching a huge thunderstorm and out of nowhere a hummingbird came right up to the screened in porch and fluttered there for just a moment. my mom loved sitting on her porch to watch them. I just feel like she was telling me hello. not much else to say just making it day by day. thanks for thinking of us. and GmaFoley I just know she would love that picture and is smiling in heaven.

    Mary did tell us about the hummingbirds. That is my favorite part of day.

    Rachel, the first year really is difficult -especially during the holidays or special occasions. We have two birds that hang around our backyard - they are always together. My husband and I joke about it being my Mom and Dad watching over us. Sometimes they leave for long periods of time, but they always come back. We pretend like they are vacationing during those times Smile.

    Edited to add: GMA, that picture of you and your Grandchildren brings tears to my eyes. It's lovely!
